The reviews about him charging your insurance for "follow-up" visits are true. He charged my insurance for a 5 minute phone call and charged it as a follow-up consultation. His office is horrible on all levels. They rarely pick up the phone and his office workers provided me two different answers when I had to change my insurance through work. One said that they were in contract with two HMO groups in San Jose and that if I changed my insurance into an HMO, then my CPAP machine will be covered. However, when I called to inform them of the change in insurance, another worker stated that they are not in contract with any HMO groups in San Jose and that I would need to return my machine and would be charged directly due to the change in insurance, therefore losing out on my initial deposit for the machine. WHAT THE F! After all of the effort I made to stay within their requirements, they freaking pull this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC.

Dr. Wei Wang and Bay Area Neurocare is nothing but an insurance scammer. They charge you hundreds of dollars for nothing but a 10 minutes chit-chat every time. Wang is extremely impatient, condescending, and indifferent about his patients' concerns. He does not listen to patients, and will not prescribe any medication or provide any substantial therapy to help patients as his highest priority is to avoid the risk of any law suit of malpractice and having his certification revoked. He said this out of his own mouth. While Wang does nothing to help you during his sessions, yet he is keen on inviting you for follow-up visits because he wanna continue to rip off your insurance. Wang behaves like a talkshow comedian rather than a health care professional. He does not deserve to be called a "doctor". Avoid this clinic at all costs. went for a initial consultation, that went well he asked for some information and to see him again. Made second APT, during that Apt all he did was text on his phone did not look at the scans and reports I brought him and did not answer any questions I had, he was in the room maybe 5 mins and he texted the whole time without ever making eye contact..

I was only able to schedule A PHONE APPOINTMENT for a neurology visit, as I was told "the first visit has to be on the phone or Zoom and if needed, the doctor will schedtests or an in-person vixit." Tbis was VERY UNORTHODOXED for a Neurologist, bur I played their way and ALL MY MRI RECORDS from Stanford sent to him for prior review...which did not happen. In the middle of him asking me "symptoms" he interrupted and said, "You should go back to your other Neurologist," cuz you need to be seen in person & I don't do that." He then said he was canceling our appointment and HUNG UP ON ME while I was still trying to talk to him about issues!!! For 20 minutes I was telling doctor about my sleep hygiene, that I don't drink coffee and do exercise. Than he gave me advice 'Dont drink coffee and do exercise' What? Did he even listen to me?

Dr. Wang is the worst doctor I have ever seen so far. He let me do the sleeping test even though I do not need it(I visited him for other symptoms). He is an irresponsible doctor. After my test result came out, we had a phone meeting to talk about it but he hasn't even looked at the results of the test yet. Dr. Wang was my doctor for many years for sleep apnea. He is a very knowledgeable, kind, informative. Spends the necessary time with the patient, I recommend him highly if you are having to need a good Neurologist. Throughout my time with him, I never had a complaint. I moved and missed him terribly! It truly is impossible to replace good medical knowledge and kindness. He truly listens to your issues. The office staff was efficient. Dr. Wang was my doctor for many years for sleep apnea. This is the worst Dr. I ever seen in my life and I was married to a Dr. who passed away of brain cancer so I know about bedside matter and professionalism. I was assigned to him as a referral (as my neurologist) now with early stages headaches and pain after talking with him. He proceeded to spend a total of 10 minutes and prescribed a drug and gave me 3 days off work. I felt better the next day after resting so I didn't take time as he prescribed for me to take off...So a week and half later I get a ride in to his ofc. and said the headaches are back I didn't take the time off last time...can you please let me take the time off now I should have listened......he said NO I can't help you. I also sent over paperwork from my job I then was told to fill those out it would cost me $30 for the 1st page and $10 for the next 5 pages. I go to his office to tell him and his assistance I'm not trying to file for any workers comp or disability that he accused me of on my first 10 min visit. I don't and never have written anything like this not even for bad service at good restaurant...The WORST Dr. visit and bedside matter I've ever experienced in my life I would not go to this butt head if you can help it!!! Dr. Wang is amazing, but RUN!!! His staff is incompetent and has messed up several times with simple things that needed to be done for my case.

I went to his office in Los Gatos and the office is completely empty, no forwarding address or telephone number. He seems to have disappeared.

I normally don't write review at all because I feel like people can have bad days once in a while but I felt like people should know about how badly this doctor treats his patients every time!! Very good doctor, knowledgeable, and easy to interact with. He helped my chronic headache by treating my sleep issues. I wish I had found him sooner.

The reason I would like to recommend Dr. Wang, is the fact that recently my husband suffered a major stroke and he was given little chance to live. The hospital staff called him and he rushed to the ER in the middle of night and saved my husband's life with a clot buster drug. He is a great doctor!!! I'm pretty disappointed with Dr.Wang. I had serious head injury. I visited him for multiple times but he didn't diagnose my condition correctly! He told me there is nothing wrong with me and I do not need any treatment. But I end up in ER for several time within 10 months. Luckily I finally found a very good and responsible doctor who saved my life! I've been told by my current doctor in fact I have pretty serious injury in my head. He gave me all kinds of treatments now I feel much better!

THE REASON I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND DR. WANG , IS THE FACT THAT FIVE YEARS AGO I SUFFERED A MAJOR STROKE AND WAS GIVEN LITTLE CHANCE TO LIVE. THE HOSP. STAFF CALLED HIM AND HE LITERALLY RUSHED IN AND SAVED ME WITH EMERGENCY SURGERY. I OWE A LOT TO DR. WANG, HE IS THE BEST.
