Dr. Wells put me on a medicine and told me it would mimic diabetes. It did more than that, I'm now a type 2 diabetic due to him. I was diagnosed by 5 different doctors I'm a real diabetic. Diabetes didnt run in my family until after this.

Dr. Wells takes time to listen to me. He provides personalized care and always answers my calls. He caught my potentially terminal illness early based on my symptoms and referred me for testing and treatment. I may not be alive today without Dr. Wells’ wisdom and prompt care. He has remained a source of support and guidance through treatment. I have not experienced this level of personalized care with any other physician. Dr. Wells takes time to listen to me. Greetings, My husband and I are extremely grateful to Dr. Wayne Wells and the NP Marisa Hughey clinic and the entire team from secretaries to nurses, from day 1 that I have treated myself in their clinic. The treatment has been the best and very professional. They make us feel like family and respect for each patient is their best quality. I went for a gallbladder pain and everything ended in surgery, but in the process they were always in communication and today I thank God for allowing me to attend to the clinic of Marisa Hughey, NP. I have been seeing Dr. Wells for over 25 years. He is very through, friendly and will spend the time answering your questions and making sure you understand what your issues are before he leaves the exam room. He isn't in a race to see how many patients he can lay eyes on and collect their money in a 8 hour period. I wish all Doctors were like Dr. Wells.

I have been a patient of Dr Wells for 3 years. He is the best doctor I have ever had the experience of seeing. He will spend time with you 10-15 mins and really ask questions. This man is what I wish every Doctor was.

I have a family member who is a patient of doctor wells. I have heard some very bad stories about the way he treats his patients and how he talks about them. I can only hope someone treats him the same way when he is very elderly.

I have been a patient since 1996 and have had to change due to insurances but Dr Wells is a very thorough and competent physician. Could not recommend any higher.

I really loved Dr. Wells when I began seeing him about 5 years ago. The practice started to go down hill a few years later when Dr. Wells moved to a new building sharing space with a walk-in clinic. The new place is run down and not inviting. He also started to heavily rely on a nurse practitioner. She is completely awful, rude and condescending. She doesn't listen to patient concerns and misdiagnoses because of it. Such as misdiagnosed warts as dry skin.
