Dr. Wayne Richard Waz

Have been taking my child here for one year and now strongly considering transferring care elsewhere. I will miss the receptionist in Amherst as she’s always been wonderful. However, you can NEVER get someone on the phone... always have to leave a message and hope you don’t miss their call back, whenever that is. Sometimes it’s a few hours, sometimes a day, and sometimes it’s more than a week if the receptionist at hospital location is on vacation. I am seriously appalled that only one person is responsible for monitoring their only telephone line. My child had routine bloodwork completed a month ago and those results were never posted to her online chart. I wrote a message to Dr. Waz through her chart in the online portal two weeks ago inquiring to the results and to notify them of her kidney infection hospitalization. I have not received a response yet. Called them 5 hours ago today and still no response. Their poor communication is enough to send me packing. Do they care about her?

Was prompt i& thoroughly reviewed medical history prior to seeing us. Made us feel very at ease, and fully explained the test results and his recommended course of action. Took the time to ensure our questions were addressed.

The visit itself was fine. Dr. Waz was informed, answered all our questions, and was professional and helpful. However.... we were kept waiting almost 1-1/2 hours past our appointment time before we were seen. The visit lasted approximately 15 minutes. And the bill? $450.00. Tremendously offended by this. Will never go back or recommend this provider.
