Dr Maley took his time to explain the process of getting a liver transplant and what to expect before and after surgery. He answered our questions. My wife and I believe we found the surgeon, we can completely trust.

Dr. Maley has the best "bed side" manner of any Dr. I have come in contact with. He is patient, and answers questions.

Very disappointed with the care received from Dr Maley. Was unable to answer questions on what the next steps are in recovery and is condescending.

Dr. Maley And his surgical staff did a wonderful job for my sister with the transplant of the liver she is already out of bed no complications I am so thankful Her quality of life prior to this was not good she was very sick you’ve changed your whole life around thank you very much

Visiting dr maley is always a great experience.

Dr. Maley is a nice and pleasant professional Dr. He will perform surgery on myself and I feel he will do a Great job. You can put your trust in him.He takes his time to explain everything on a level you can understand.

Dr Maley was my surgeon when I donated my kidney and made me feel secure with the surgery. My incision was minimal and I healed very quickly. He is very attentive and listens to your questions and very knowledgeable with years of experience. Feeling very secure with his expertise I went back to him 5 years later for a consult when I was told I needed surgery so I could discuss with him and was very helpful in directing me to the right person.... so I’m grateful he is there for his patients years later. Dr. Maley is just awesome! He is patient. Explains things in an easy and clear manner. He takes his time with his patients. He did my liver transplant. I would highly recommend him.

He's terrific. He sounds like Mr. Rogers. He's caring and listens and answers all you questions. He leaves his cell phone number with you to text him or call him with anything. He's "if this were my wife or my sister, I'd...." He was late because he just finished a transplant surgery at 5am and I still was not rushed. He took all the time I needed.

My appointment with Dr Maley & all of the staff at Thomas Jefferson was simply the BEST experience with any Doctor. Everyone was very friendly & punctual & Dr Maley was just OUTSTANDING. He took his time & explained things in a way that I could understand. My recommendation for anyone looking for a higher level of care: go to Thomas Jefferson first!!!

I was refered to Dr. Maley by one of his nurses Chrissy Gayle. She stated that she thought he was the perfect Dr. for my health problem because liver problems are his specialty. She said that he is a caring, kind, gentle and very knowledgeable Dr. I found him to be everything she said and more. I'm so glad she referred me to him. He doesn't rush you and he listens. Good qualities in a doctor.

I was referred to Dr.Marley and was very impressed with his approach to my problem . He spent well over 1/2 hour with me and completely explained everything in detail.

I have known Dr. Maley for 2 1/2 years. He is one of the finest and most respectful Doctors that I have ever met. Dr. Maley not only is an amazing surgeon, but a very caring and genuine man. Dr. Maley has followed me through my cancer journey over these last 2 1/2 years and I can always count on him for my questions and my concerns. He is very patient and never rushes through my appointments. My husband and I value Dr. Maley's diagnosis and put our entire faith in this wonderful Doctor.

In addition to the professionalism we have come to expect from the Jefferson team, Dr Maley was kind and sincere in his assessment and advice. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us before and during our visit.

It has been a pleasure having Dr. Maley as my surgeon . I was so nervous the day of my first appointment . When I met Dr. Maley I knew he was the one . His bedside manner is so Extraordinary. On the day of my surgery I begin to get a litttle nervous and Dr Maley walked me step by step and assured me I would be fine . I also work in the medical field I know it’s a honor for someone to work with a Dr like Dr Maley far as character and bedside manner.Behind a good Dr. there’s a good team . Thanks

Dr. Maley is Amazing!!! He is a great Transplant Surgeon ???????!! He explains everything so that you understand & when he speaks you can just tell he knows what he is doing! I’m so glad Dr. Maley did my Kidney Tranplant I Thanked him so many times and I will keep on Thanking him for a successful transplant!! I will definitely recommend him to anyone!!

Dr. Maley is a compassionate doctor. My first meeting with him was amazing. When discussing my situation with him, he was very specific about all aspects. I only had a few questions because he was so detailed. At no point did I feel rushed. It was clear that his FULL attention was on ME, and he would take as long as needed to go over my case. He also was very kind and empathetic. My situation is very serious, but I'm glad I'm in his hands.

Dr. Maley is a wonderful surgeon and human being. He is incredibly dedicated to his profession and his patients. I originally met him for a consultation after he had just completed two liver transplants and had not slept in nearly 24 hours. Yet he still spent as much time with my wife and I as we required. I am now 7 weeks beyond my own liver lobectomy. I am feeling much better and would recommend him to any patient with liver concerns without hesitation. His whole transplant team was great too!

I highly recommend Dr. Maley. He was excellent communicating with myself & my family as to what to expect through out my health crisis. He saved my life. I am forever grateful to him!
