I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Dr Pipkin! My 2 month old had to have an emergency surgery done. I was a wreak and Dr Pipkin was calm and confident the whole time. He explained the procedure so that I understood what was going to happen. He was just great!! During recovery, he and his team kept checking in on son too. Saw my 12 year old daughter July 30th 2017 for abdominal pain. After a week in the hospital was sent home with no answers. A year later we were referred back to this doctor by a specialist for surgery to remove her gallbladder based on tests that found that my daughters sphincter of OD was only functioning at 30%. He refused to remove her gallbladder. It’s been another year now and my daughter still deals with abdominal pain if she eats lunch at school unless she stands in the back of the classroom.

Adalyn was born with colon atresia and had surgery the day she was born. Dr. Pipkins was so kind and helpful through this scary process. Adalyn is now 5 months old and living a health and wonderful life all thanks to this wonderful man! He will always be our favorite doctor because he saved our daughters life!

Great doctor!!!!

Dr. Pipkin performed thoracic surgery on my son when he was 14. During the entire process from diagnosis to surgery, he listened to my son's concerns first and foremost. He treated my child with respect and dignity. Most other doctors talk directly to the parents and forget to include the patient. Dr. Pipkin also takes the time to get to know his patients. He wants to hear about their hobbies, how school is going, etc. He encourages his patients to do work hard and do their best!

Dr. Pipkin preformed surgery on my daughter when she was only 1 month old. It was a very frightening and emotional time for my family. Dr. Pipkin's professionalism, and knowledge was extremely reassuring, and helped to ease the anxiety. It is now over 2 years later, and my daughter is healthy and happy. I am so grateful to Dr. Pipkin for his expertise, and excellent bedside manner.
