Would recommend! They are wonderful. I was referred to Dr. Gaffney for two root canals. I and EXTREMELY anxious about all dental procedures. I had a bad experience in the past with someone else and it kept me from going to any dentist. But I finally had to because of the pain. I explained my concerns about my procedure and they were so accommodating. They were patient, understanding, and kind. Ms. Deborah at the front desk was so kind and helps you feel at ease. Dr. Gaffney listens and had great bedside manner. The over all experience was exceptional and pain free. Thank you to the whole team who took care of me. I had an AWESOME experience from the time I stepped through the doors until the time I exited. The staff is so friendly and professional! I was so nervous going in because I've never had a root canal before, but the calmness of the office just brought me to calmness. Dr.Gaffney was AMAZING! He explained his procedure thoroughly. At first I was taken aback at the amount of time it was going to take him, but, he assured me that he takes his time as not hurt me and to make sure he did a thorough job...and my God..DID HE! I felt NO pain during the procedure! The use of headphones helped keep me relaxed as well. If you are nervous or a scardy cat like me...I recommend you try Dr.Gaffney! I was referred to Dr. Gaffney. He and his team are excellent. From the initial phone call to my last visit excellent customer service. Dr. Gaffney is very skilled. I do not like going to the dentist and I still don't, but Dr. Gaffney made HAVING to go a tolerable experience.

Dr. Gaffney has great skills and is very reassuring and comforting towards his patients. Over the years, I've had nothing but the best of care and professionalism from this doctor.

So, I had couple of teeth that I was concerned about. I asked him to do a vitality test on one of them and he postponed it. The test literally takes seconds. Furthermore he didn’t have a clear plan on my teeth. He just left it to the orthodontist and me. Further more, my insurance covers 100% and they are part of the network. I paid before I see him and then they sent me another bill. And all that for one consultation that I was not happy about! So, I had couple of teeth that I was concerned about. Excellent work and good bedside manner.

Dr. Gaffney is very patient and explains everything well. He is a great endodontist and if I need any future root canal treatments I will come here. He is gentle during his procedures, best experience I have had. If you have high anxiety he is the doctor you need to see. His staff is also very welcoming and makes you feel at home.

ALL of my root canals by Dr. Gaffney had to be redone by Michael Schwarze DDS in New Braunfels. During the last redo, Dr. Schwarze removed a larger-than-tic-tac-sized cotton from the pulp of my tooth (#14), which Dr. Gaffney had left in there originally. I then had to have Janice Weinman DDS of Seguin Smiles to perform a post and core procedure to restore my tooth. Dr. Gaffney's mistake caused severe sensitivity to hot and cold, major leakage of the crown, and repairs have cost me over $3000 in repairs. I will never EVER return to Dr. Gaffney. However, Dr. Schwarze and Dr. Weinman are the best dental professionals I have ever met in my life! And they give their cell phone numbers, too. I have to say by far the best dentist I’ve ever seen. Dr Gaffney and his staff were amazing, not only did they squeeze me in the same day(2 days before Thanksgiving) but they were able to do my root canal in less than an hour. I will refer them out from this day forward. Thank You for the great service.

Never have I ever received such terrible service. Not only was my root canal not done correctly, they clamped on my gums and I have been sore for almost a whole month now. They almost refuse to take responsibility for the fact that they messed up my tooth. They did not even put a protective cap after they filled in the canal. Also the receptionists are rude and very snarky. I came to this business for relief and was only given disappointment and more pain. Never have I ever received such terrible service. Dr. Gaffney treated my 10 year old and she didn’t feel a thing. Not even the numbing part. Absolutely wonderful guy who will take care of you

Best dental experience I have ever had. The staff and Dr. Gaffney were kind and competent and they made sure I was not in pain. He is one of the few Dentists that gives out his cell # to his patients and he is there with you every step of the way.

First root canal and it wasn't so bad. Dr. Gaffney and staff were A+ the whole way. I was given headphones to listen to music during the procedure and it really wasn't bad at all. Hopefully I will not need another but if I do I know where I will be going. Check him out.

Came to see Dr. Gaffney after getting a filling done by another dentist and suffering with pain for 3 weeks. The other doctor couldn't see me right away, so my mom referred me to him. I ended up needing a root canal. He did an awesome job! I didn't feel anything, even after the anesthesia wore off. My headaches and pain are gone and I can finally eat normally. Great staff and environment. Made me feel comfortable and confident with the procedure. There wasn't any question I felt I couldn't ask.
