I am in this world today because of the excellent Vascular Surgery skills of Dr. W. Sternbergh. At 79, I knew my condition was very serious. Dr. W. Sternbergh and Dr. Patrick Parrino, a Cardiovascular Surgeon, and their treatment teams turned my life around by the surgical procedures. I am living a healthy and happy life at 80 years! Ochsner provides top quality physicians and healthcare professionals! As someone who had a career of recruiting physicians for 40 years, I have seen many hospital and healthcare systems. I will tell you that Ochsner is THE BEST!!!

In February of 2016 I had an aortic dissection. I am thankful that Dr. Sternberg saved my life not too many people survive aortic dissections.

This Dr. has saved my life twice. His professional medical training and education makes him the top choice of Doctors in my book. The most honest person I have ever met who tells you like it is which is refreshing in today's world.

Dr. Waldemar Sternbergh preformed surgery by inserting stints in both my right and left legs over 3 years ago, and I have been fine since the surgery. I would recommend Dr. Sternbergh to anyone, the surgery has really improved my ability to walk without pain.

Dr. Sternbergh has been my vascular surgeon for over five years. He has been a major contributor in improving my quality of life. After several surgeries and procedures, I am now able to keep up with my grand children all day long, that is truly a gift. Dr. Sternbergh has also been a huge inspiration for me to make healthier life choices moving forward. Dr. Sternbergh performed vascular surgery on both my legs. My blood vessels in my legs were clogged and blood circulation was poor or blocked. Before Dr. Sternbergh's surgical procedure, I had several operations on my legs which proved to only worsen the problems. The surgical procedure included removing and replacing blood vessels in both my legs; this restored blood circulation to my legs. The fact that I am walking today is a testament to Dr. Sternbergh's great vascular surgical skills.
