We got denied from MD Anderson because they said my dad was too old. It wasn't until he was already dead that we went over the papers and found out that when Gressler sent them the referral he wrote my dad's DOB incorrectly, making his age appear to be an entire 10 years older than he really was. Would he still be alive right now if MD Anderson accepted him? Idk. But not a day goes by that I don't wonder. Find a doctor you can trust, who cares enough to not screw up something as simple as a DOB.
