We have been seeing Dr Goei for over 7.5 years and she has been a blessing to us. She goes above and beyond to help my child and truly takes her time in treating, listening to and caring for my child.

Was seen in sep 2018 for my daughters abdominal pain. As part of the tests, I dropped a stool specimen at the Augusta University medical center lab. Months later, I received s bill of 690 dollars from a lab called Prometheus in LA, California. I called AUMC and has been talking to the patient advocate and the lab chief for the past three weeks. My insurance BCBS federal would not pay a penny because that lab is outside network. Lab chief at AUMC says that the MD should have discussed it with the parents before sending it to outside network lab and lab sent it to this lab because Dr. Goei specifically mentioned it to be sent to this lab. Does the doctor has a vested interested in this lab? I don’t know. Are there other labs in network that could have done these stool tests? Yes. Why would you sent a specimen from Georgia all the way to California? I don’t know. And this so called lab has poor reviews too. I don’t even trust the results. Be careful with this provider.

Dr. Goei made fun of my child’s mitochondrial specialist. She also shoved a pack of pretzels at my child and told her to eat. Mind you 1.) She’s was 100% tube fed at the time with elemental formula 2) Had terrible GI motility and stomach pain which is why we were there and the reason she wasn’t gaining weight or eating by mouth and 3.) My daughter has a gluten allergy. Walked out the door and never looked back. I was just shocked that we spent all that time and money for that level of care.

My son has always been treated with the highest care not only by Dr. Goei but her nurse Teresa.

Dr. Goei went above and beyond to find out what caused my son’s abdominal pain. She’s a blessing !!!

Blamed my child's problem on constipation. He's very sick. Student doctor did not listen.
