In 2005, I had a failed lumpectomy, along with no sentinel node biopsy from a former Doctor. Next came along Dr. Jenny Herrmann. She gives a new meaning to “get a second opinion.” When I found her I was at the bottom of the pit and she threw me the lifeline that I needed. The first day I was in her office she took my hand and walked me thru the journey with knowledge, mentoring and let’s not forget outstanding surgical skill. If only everyone could have a competent and compassionate Doctor like her, illness would be so much less stressful. it is now 15 years later and I am happy to tell you I am still cancer free.
Dr. Herrmann was my doctor in South Carolina and I can't say enough good things about her. This was my second bout with breast cancer and her professionalism and kindness is amazing - she is a very special person. I would highly recommend her to anyone - I don't think you could find a more understanding person. I just had my yearly exam today (5th year) with excellent review.
