Dr Patel is one of the most caring doctors I have ever had and his staff as well he told me he would fix my finger and he did I am so grateful. My finger feel normal again.

Honestly he is the nicest doctor I’ve encountered in a while. Awesome bedside manners and the cortisone shot didn’t hurt a bit! He is the absolute best and I’ll recommend him to all my new mommies experiencing “mommy wrist”.

Not a good experience. The 5 star reviews are not accurate. Enough said.

I went to this doctor because i had already seen one ortho for wrist pain. The pain had returned after 5 months post cortisone injection. So what did this doctor do? The same exact thing. Now I have been in pain for a solid year and counting. The cortisone thinned my skin to having skin tears in my 40s and now having surgery due to an actual fracture. I am sick of doctors with band aid approaches

Less than ideal experience.

Although the end result of my visit was less than ideal (I need a partial finger amputation), the Dr Patel was courteous and capable. The therapists, Vinita and Lauren, were very thorough and helpful in helping me to regain the full use of my hand.

This place is a joke. How do you know what is going on with my hand and you never touched my hand during my appointment. Had me do an X-ray, and never said anything about the results. Then you just decide I need surgery immediately. Want me to go to all my docs and get pre approval . You forget the fact I can't move my hand and I can't drive. Your Head Nurse and Financial person is just as rude , condescending and arrogant as you. There was absolutely no care in the world. I went to another hand surgeon who spent a good 45-55 minutes with me trying to see what was going on with my hand. And did and now physical therapy has helped me tremendously. I don't know what kind of scam is going on in this place. And I will never let someone like this just open my hand and leave an ugly scar. And I would be trying to figure it out why did I need surgery in the first place. Be careful of this place, the doctor, the physical therapy folks that never followed through and how you're treated when you get there. The treatment there was horrible . All I got were people trying to see how much money ( cash) they could get from me and did it with a condescending attitude. I guarantee these 5 stars are fake. It's only 5 of them anyway. Excellent! I would recommend highly!

I came to atlanta hand specialist to see Dr.Patel because I was in so much pain. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome from the front desk staff! my experience here was more than great, Dr.Patel was able to diagnose my issue. The entire staff was so helpful! Very clean efficient! I definitely recommend this office!

I love this Doctor he was so professional, honest, and genuine. I had a very severe fracture in Dec 2016 in alaska and had a horrible experience with a surgeon there. I could not use my wrist and was feeling desperate so I researched Doctors and came across Dr. Patel's name. I had 2 metal plates and 9 screws. I had my first appointment with Dr. Patel beginning of Oct he looked over my records explained everything i mean EVERYTHING including the problem and how to fix the problem. I was under the knife 5 days later and today got my stitches out today and am able to move my wrist in ways I have not been able to in almost a year. I would recommend him to my closest family and he does very neat work. Also his staff was super nice and very helpful! What a successful experience. Dr Patel is very compassionate, caring and more importantly he's very knowledgeable! He takes all the time you need with any questions or concerns. My care there from the moment I stepped in the office to the moment I walked out was nothing less than warm, friendly, caring and full of knowledge on my situation. I'm am so pleased with the service I received and would recommend Dr Patel and his staff to all who needs hand care!!!!

I came to see Dr. Patel for a rare wrist condition called Kienbock's disease. Prior to seeing him, I was seeing an orthopedic doctor who misdiagnosed me with carpal tunnel. 5 months later he diagnosed me correctly. I wanted to get a second opinion from a hand specialist and that is how I was able to locate Dr. Patel. He saw my xrays and my MRI and in less than 5 minutes, properly diagnosed me. He has taken me under his care and spent a lot of time with me answering my very many questions. I am glad to find this doctor and know I'm in good hands. Everyone at AHS was wonderful :) Dr Patel took very good care of me! I feel like I was taken care of so well.

Dr Patel was absolutely wonderful! Very informative and took the time to explain my daughters situation and needs. He took perfect care of her before and after her surgery! His staff was also wonderful. The nurse in back was very caring and genuine. I recommend Dr Patel highly for anyone with hand problems big or small!!

I had a ganglion cyst surgically removed from my wrist by Dr. Patel about 4 years ago. It has recently came back in the same location. Today had an appointment to visit him to ask questions about why it has come back and they wanted to charge me $150 in order to do that. I would think he could have the decency to talk to me without charge on a surgery that has obviously failed. He told me before the surgery that he had a 5% failure rate. I guess I am part of that 5%.
