Dr Patel and all his staff are top notch!!! I have seen another area specialist for my last 2 pregnancies and that staff was always rude, cold and that Dr was not attentive and never answered my questions. • Dr. Patel and his staff are always eager to put you at ease, answer questions and I have had a much better understanding this pregnancy. Dr Patel and his staff are always kind and attentive. My husband and I are very pleased with their office. I feel confident saying you and your baby are in the best care possible with Dr. Vinu Patel.

I do not have enough words to recommend Dr. Patel and his office. At 38 gestational weeks we discovered an abdominal mass growing in the baby’s belly. I’m assuming most people reading this review are either parents or soon-to-be parents, so you can understand the desperation that was set in our hearts when we heard the news. Our OBGYN sent us to Dr. Patel so we could have more answers regarding the tumor. His staff was so sweet and accommodating to our situation, the ultrasound tech helped us focus on the good things about that ultrasound: our baby boy, his movements, gestures, facial features, instead of the scare of a belly tumor. Dr. Patel was not only 100% precise in his initial diagnosis, but also got an appointment for us at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, where my baby had his surgery to remove his kidney and the tumor at less than 3 weeks old. I highly recommend this office, not only for Dr. Patel’s expertise, but for the great customer service of all his staff. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts! Dr. Patel is wonderful but his staff made my experience hell. Several HIPAA violations by the staff during my visits. I work in healthcare and was appalled at the errors made. Make sure any agreement you make with them is written down. I was told by the account manager Jamie that I could pay my bill $100 each month, and as long as it was resolved within a year, it was fine. She must have forgotten. She also lost the credit card information is he wrote down when I was in the office (I told her to just charge my card once a month until it was gone). Who knows where my information wound up. Last month she called saying, “Congratulations you can make your last payment of $300 and we’ll get you finished.” I told her but the agreement was $100 a month… so we “settled” for me paying $150 last month and the rest this month. She called me to make my last payment of $150, I told her I didn’t have my wallet and would have to do it tomorrow. She stated, “Okay well we’ll have the payment taken care of so it doesn’t go into collections.” Meanwhile, my baby is only 7 months, meaning I have an additional 5 months based on what she originally told me. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional to throw around the word collections when I have been more than compliant this entire time. The entire thing was such a mess. I was referred to this Dr. The staff it's horrible. The genetic results came with false positive so they can run more expensive test!! And get that monet from the insurance. I run away from them!!!! I repeat the test and everything came well. This Dr. Only care about MONEY!!!!

Sweetest Doctor ever! Made me feel comfortable from the moment I met him! He took away all my fears and assured me that my baby is ok, Also his front desk staff is very friendly and the ultrasound techs are so kind and helpful, I also didn’t have to wait long so that was a huge plus.

If I could describe my experience at Dr Patel’s office in one word it would be AMAZING!!! Dr Patel is very knowledgeable, patient and takes the time to answer every single question and concern. His staff is very professional, the tech are so sweet and reassuring and Jamie, I simply LOVE her!!!! After being in the hospital with Covid for 10 days it has been a blessing to come to their office and see my baby is doing great. I’m very grateful and feel blessed that I’m their patient, I have to come on a weekly basis to monitor my baby and I look forward to my appointment. I’m going to write down some reasons to not go there. 1. Long wait time. 2. Scam: I went to do ONE Nuchal Translucency ULTRASOUND. Once I got there they did 2 more ultrasounds without my knowledge and my consent. 3. The office called to make the appointment, and said that they already had all my information, so they checked my insurance and Told me to bring $250 because my insurance would not cover anything before the deductible. It was the amount for the procedure (NT ultrasound). When I went there the first thing was to give my documents and pay the $250. I received a bill charging $685.15 more. 4. I asked multiple people to call the office and ask how much the NT ultrasound costs and both got the same answer: $250. 5. We tried to talk to the office to fix this but the manager said it was explained to me. It never happened! She also said that they had to do 2 more ultrasounds because that they can’t get all the measurements just with the NT. Question: Do they have the ri

Question: Do they have the right to do whatever they want and not explain? Who gives the consent to do more ultrasounds? 6. The manager said that if I was paying without insurance it would be just $250. But I have insurance, so they are charging $375 for the NT; $375 for OB ultrasound 1st trimester; $281 OB ultrasound transvaginal. (I had just done the two extra ultrasounds that were performed without my consent or knowledge at my doctors) 7. The manager doesn’t let us to talk and she’s kinda rude. Didn’t seem sensitive with the situation and didn’t want to fix this or anything. 8. The office does not give the report for the patient. I called a couple times and they said they sent it to my doctor. I practically had to beg for them send it to me and when I I said that my doctor doesn’t own my information and I’m the one paying it, They said that they were going to fax it to me. NEVER DID. Finally I was able to get the report from my doctor. Another frustration. There are no images of the placenta, measurements and etc. A very poor report! 9. Without a proper report I cannot get a second opinion. 10. Dr Patel does a virtual consultation and he said I had a complete placenta prévia (12 weeks pregnancy) so I had some restrictions. He said to schedule another appointments in 4 weeks $$$$$$$$$$. I talked to two other doctors and they both disagreed. I canceled my appointment my follow up appointment.

This is the BEST office!!!! Very caring and professional staff. We are living in such trial times and they are very patient and make you feel at ease by explaining in detail and answering every question and concern. The techs also take the time to show you and share the images that as expectant parents and family mean the world!!! Jamie is the sweetest and Dr Patel is an angel. Highly recommend this office, Dr and staff!!!

I’m posting this review in hopes that other (concerned) parents to be read it in light of some of the other negative reviews on here. I would give this office 5 stars, but the long wait times can definitely be a pain! It’s best to go as early in the morning as possible, which typically leads to reduced wait time. I do believe the reason why the wait times are so long is because they are so attentive to each patient’s individual need. I’m currently 28 weeks pregnant in a high-risk pregnancy, so I have been visiting Dr. Patel’s office every 4 weeks. Some of the ultrasound techs are better and more “warm” than others- Stacy is the absolute BEST. She has the best bedside manner and a heart of gold. The ultrasound techs do a really good job of talking you through what’s happening to calm nerves. They have always provided me with great pictures of the baby, too! Now yes, as the other reviews state, you see Dr. Patel on zoom rather than face to face; however I don’t believe this reduces the level of care. He provides adequate information on each part of the scan that was completed. If he doesn’t feel he has good enough pictures he will send you back for more, which shows he is very thorough and doesn’t just try to rush you away. He encourages questions and concerns no matter how many or how trivial they might be. I have a lot of anxiety related to my pregnancy and he has been nothing but caring and accommodating, even through the computer screen! I also want to mention that when I first got diagnosed with my high-risk condition, Dr. Patel spoke with my OBGYN and others on my care team on a Saturday evening at 6:30 PM. The office then fit me in for my first appointment that week on Tuesday. This is another example of wonderful and personalized care. If I could give 0 stars I would...I was recommended to go here after another Perinatologist retired and Dr Patel took on their patients. I couldn't find the office to begin with, so I called the receptionist who just tells me they are on Glades Road and Lyons... That doesn't help when the building isn't on the main road. It's on a side street behind an old furniture store. I get it is a Specialist so wait time is incredibly long. Over 3 hours before even seeing an ultrasound technician, so fun. When I scheduled appointment I was told machines were very high tech and no need for internal exam, just outside one. I get to see the ultraaound technician who is very rude, no name tag, no introduction, she gets very aggressive as to why I am not undressed. I explain to her that I was told no internal exam. Then tells me to get undressed and was about to do internal exam on me when I told her no. I was almost in tears and shaking and about to leave. She does the exam without internal part. Then doesn't even give me a copy of photo that tells me it us a boy. Wait another hour. I see Dr Patel not in person but video. I get Covid concern, but very inpersonal. Have to do more scans because tech didn't get them all. Another hour for this. Still no photo either . So my 20 Week ultrasound I have no photo that says "It's a boy!" If you are referred to Dr. Patel’s office by your OB I would recommend doing some research and seeing if there is an alternative perinatology practice you could visit. Overall, the office is poorly run. The office staff is rude and unhelpful over the phone and they overbook appointments. This means a long wait in an overcrowded waiting room. In the end you only meet with Dr. Patel over a video call for about a minute. A very impersonal experience. The office is also disorganized and never posted my payment to the billing department despite cashing my check. This led to me continuously receiving bills for a payment that had already cleared. Despite the lack of help from office staff luckily the third party billing service they use has been very helpful. But it has been very inconvenient to have to make multiple phone calls just because the office cannot keep track of their payments. I’m sure there must be better run perinatal options in the area. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Patel and his office! I was referred for an abnormal screening test and was a wreck when I walked in. Everyone in the office was extremely kind and compassionate - especially the sonographers. Dr. Patel did not rush me and took the time to educate me and dispel a lot of my fears. He went over what my options were in detail and did not push me to do anything. He was so kind, compassionate and accommodating. I decided to move forward with a diagnostic test and he was EXCELLENT. He made the entire procedure easy and calm - it was so much better than I hoped it would be. All turned out to be perfect and healthy as he thought it would, but I am so happy that I was able to navigate with Dr. Patel and feel taken care of. As far as wait times- they're up front that you may have to wait as they are a specialty provider and emergencies happen. I personally did not have to wait more than a few minutes each time, but if I had - I would have been okay with it because it just shows me that if I was the one in emergency need - I would be taken care of immediately. My first visit to Dr. Patel, V was the worst experience of my life. I went there to check my pregnancy. The waiting time - Horrible!!!! This doctor is not compassionate or caring. This office only cares for you to pay them. I was told in a room alone with no doctor or staff that my baby was dead. I was referred to Dr.Patel and his practice by my OB (Women’s Health Partners) and I cannot say enough great things about Doctor Patel and his team. Our baby was showing signs of having a growth restriction so I had to be closely monitored for the last 8 weeks of my pregnancy. I always felt the nurses and Dr.Patel made sure I left their office having a strong understanding of what was going on and truly took the time to explain my situation to me (and my husband virtually Bc of Covid). I'm writing this review in hopes this helps another pregnant lady that has read through other reviews listed for the Doctor that were negative. The building was well kept, the parking lot was easy to access. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. When making the appointment and confirming the appointment the employee was very kind. The ultrasound tech was very kind and understanding. Meeting with the Doctor was great. The Doctor was kind and detailed. The Doctor encouraged that I try to reach my Husband on FaceTime so I could include my Husband within the conversation. All around the appointment was great! I am actually surprised to see any good reviews for this cold hearted non compassionate doctor , all he care about is getting you more to the office to pay for tests and ultrasound, he requests whatever the insurance would cover to make the most benefit for him financially , even when I asked my OB , he said that the extra testing and cervical check is unnecessary , I am moving to a different perinatologist.

Doctor is Great. The Front desk lady is rude and seem like she’s unsure about everything.

Dr. Patel himself is AMAZING as well as the ultra sound technicians. Wait time was never an issue. It is the lady who draws your blood that ruined my feelings towards this office. I faint often from needles and pregnancy had increased these issues for me. I asked to lay down, which I was denied two out of the three times I needed blood draws. She seemed annoyed since there were papers on the bed that would have needed to be moved and kept sighing and rolling her eyes. She said to me, “Well I’m sure this will be your one and only baby if you can’t even handle a blood draw!” My husband was not allowed to come back with me and he was yelled at by her for trying, which upset him since he had already watched me fall and almost hit my head from a blood draw faint at my regular OB. Left the office crying every time I had to go there and get my blood drawn. Definitely caused unnecessary stress and anxiety during my pregnancy. It’s a shame since Dr. Patel is so awesome. I would still see Dr. Patel if I had another baby, but I would probably deny all blood testing and take a risk on not finding something just to avoid this situation again. Amazing doctor who saved my natural delivery! My baby was breech and did not want to turn. I was referred to dr. Patel at 38 weeks. At the office after ultrasound and heart beat monitoring he told me up front there is 50% chance that baby turns and baby can go back to breach again. He was very detailed how procedure will go. Terrible experience, never had to pass for anything like that. They charged me before I see the doctor a deductable of $200 from the insurance, when I receive the benefit’s explanation of my health insurance the deductable was only $64, not $200 as they charged me. Staff were awesome. And Dr was extremely good, very calm and explained everything and made sure you understood and answered all my questions. Very through!!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Patel. He is very knowledgeable and funny, and gives you time to ask questions. He monitored my baby almost from beginning to end and she arrived perfectly healthy. I had to wait more than 30 minutes maybe once, all the other times I was seen almost as soon as I got there.

Dr.Patel came highly recommended by my amazing fertility expert Dr.Roseff, who is a genius! Dr. Patel has been thorough throughout my pregnancy. The staff is awesome and really keep you on time. The sonographers really take their time to get accurate ultrasounds of my baby and I appreciate how thorough they are. I had a great experience with Dr. Patel. He is very knowledgeable and funny, and gives you time to ask questions. He monitored my baby almost from beginning to end and she arrived perfectly healthy. I had to wait more than 30 minutes maybe once, all the other times I was seen almost as soon as I got there.

The staff in the office is good, but wait times - HORRIBLE! Count on spending a good 2+ hours if they do fetal monitoring with most of that time spent in the waiting room, just waiting for the doctor to read your results and see you. Again, if it wasn't for ridiculously long wait times, it'd be a great office.

Everyone in the office is very nice and friendly. It’s easy to make an appointment. So far so good!

Wonderful experience throughout my pregnancy. The entire team has been very kind and helpful!

Great doc, very smart and with a sense of humor. Operation is run very well. Wait times are not terrible and the girls doing the scans are nice and helpful.

I visited this practice for my 2nd and 3rd trimester anomaly scans. The sonographers were not only very comforting to be around but very thorough in their scans. Dr. Patel dedicated ample time and attention to reviewing scans and answering questions.

I cannot express my gratitude for Dr. Patel and his staff! I have seen Dr Patel 2 out of my 3 pregnancies and he is absolutely amazing! His entire office will make you feel as if you are the most important patient. They are thorough, attentive to your needs, and take time to get to know you. You will get to know the entire office and support staff as they all take part in your care during this special time. They helped ease my worries and led me to 2 healthy happy deliveries and babies!

Doctor created fake problems to keep us returning for high risk appointments. We requested my chart/records and got a second opinion after 3 visits to only find out the Dr was flat out lying about any complications. Please see another doctor its not worth the stress so he can bill you for another office visit!!!!!!!!!!!
