I don't understand where some of these reviews come from. The office and the physician were very professional. It does take some time to get an appointment but on my appointment day I was seen on time and the PA and Dr Mehrotra took the time to answer all my questions and advise me to my best clinical path. I don't understand where some of the negative reviews come from. The office and the physician were very professional. It does take some time to get an appointment but on my appointment day I was seen on time and the PA and Dr Mehrotra took the time to answer all my questions and advise me to my best clinical path. I would highly recommend Dr Mehrotra.

The first doctor to take my migraines seriously. He's all about preventing those bad boys, as am I. He put me on a preventative medication and a wonderful pain med, Maxalt, that works by relaxing blood vessels. It took awhile for the preventative to build up to pretty much stop the pain, but the headaches did slow down. Dr. Mehrotra has a very good bedside manner and a nice staff. Dr. Mehrotra has been my ongoing doctor for almost 6 years. I highly recommend him and his staff! They are always quick and efficient. They answer ally question and are prompt. I highly recommend Dr. Mehrotra.

I took my mother here for her first appointment at 8:15 am on 5.19.17. The doctor wasn't even in the building yet! Kept us waiting for over an hour and a half when we were the first appointment of the day! Then, once inside the room he took two phone calls on his cell phone DURING the appointment! After being that late! It was RIDICULOUS and obviously we never returned. Reported him to the insurance company. What a complete waste of time and total disrespect for the patients. I see Ron left a review about his 8:15 appt., too! So sad to see we aren't the only ones treated this way! I am so glad I ran across his name when I was looking up something in my 2017 planner and could finally leave this long overdue review! Terrible. Don't waste your time here. Terrible doctor with atrocious interpersonal skills!

Horrible! He Saw me in hospital for possible stroke. He woke me from nap and rudely snipped at me for about 5 sentences that did not make any sense at all. “What do you want? I don’t do MRI! Hospital do it. I no do it. “ He turned around and walked out. And that was my neurologist consultation in its entirety. The next day He said 1 rude snap at me. “ You want to be discharged?” Of course I said yes. I have been crying but am so happy to get away from him.

Well, if you don’t mind a little disdain with your care... he is your guy.

I had to rate 1 star at least so I can post this. We will not ever be returning to this physician. My daughter has been a migraine sufferer for a while. We waited 3 weeks to see this physician. In the meanwhile my daughter was suffering from a debilitating migraine accompanied with hypersensitivity to sound and photophobia. She struggled with classes as a result and had to take leave from work. The day of her evaluation, Dr Mehrotra sat across the room, cross his legs and began writing on his pad. My daughter was obviously in pain with her hand clutching her head. I believe the interview lasted not even 30 min and ended up with a hand full of samples a, steroid pack, and a return date for 3 weeks. The samples were extended release of a drug she was already taken. No immediate pain relief was offered or did he take one step near my daughter for a proper neuro assessment. My daughter cried in car after visit and just felt exhausted and frustrated. Later that day we started steroid pack and samples. Within an hour she had to be rushed to ER for migraine crisis in which IV analgesics had to be given to get pain under control fast. She was screaming in pain. Come to find out, the steroid she was given is a headache trigger; so go figure. We called Dr Meh office back to update about ER visit. And was called back with message from a nurse, "...he'll see you on 04/29/19". Nothing changed. My daughter was scheduled for MRI which she couldn't tolerate due to sound. The ER physcian called Dr Mehrotra suggesting sedation so that we could follow thru with MRI successfully. He refused and decided to order a CT scan instead. Let's think about it. My daughter is a college student. Obviously there's nothing wrong with her cognition so I found this CT scan order ridiculous and a waste. Of course, the CT was fine-redundant. I went searching and found a different neurologist that was able to get right to the source of pain. He's an hour away but worth the drive! My daughter's first neuro assessment/tx with new neurologist lasted 3 hours. The new doctor was patient, attentive, caring, intuitive, assuring, and humorous. Pain was addressed immediately and my daughter was able to walk out of office without sunglasses and ear plugs for the first time in a month!!! It was truly a breakthrough and a miracle. He's been seeing her weekly and she's improved greatly these few weeks. Also, she'll will be returning to work this week and finishing classes. We will never return nor refer any of my friends, family, or colleagues to Dr Mehrotra. I had to rate 1 star at least so I can post this. We will not ever be returning to this physician. Friendly office staff. Dr. Mehrotra took my migraines seriously and put me on a drug that has eliminated them. I’m very pleased with my care and appreciate their professionalism.

When I was in the ER after my first seizure in 2009, he was the dr on duty at the time. That was lucky for me because he got me the best medication to control and prevent my seizures and has been my neurologist for over 10 years now!

Very much an uncaring dr I have MS And he didn't help put me on meds that I had a flare up on I had 3 seizures never had one in my life prior then he wrote me off work for 4 weeks no follow up appointment, I was in a severe flare up changed my dr to UT south western. Completely different experience. If I could rate less than a 1i definitely would!!! WORSE DR EVER!!!!! great Doctor, but having a 8:00 AM appointment and payment is taken up front and now it's 8:30 and still waiting. I was the only one in office waiting for at least 15 minutes, then two more people came in. I was told I had the first appointment... I wander how long I'll have to wait and being a professional myself, I bet if I charged my rate or 45.00 per hour I would see Dr. sooner..... Professional, discussed procedure before beginning and during procedure. Discussion of results. Ensured that all of my questions were answered and I understood information. Very Kind and makes you feel at ease.

This has to be the worst physician I have ever come across! Not certain what training consists of in India, but, this gentleman should not have a medical degree of any type, and it frightens me that people such as he are given prescription pads.

started writing my review and ran out of characters and I was only a quarter way done. Total liar and Quack. His staff too. Will take your money but lie and give you the runaround over and over. Dont waste your time at this guy. Hes completely worthless.

I like Dr V Mehrotra just fine, seems to be a good doctor. However, his staff is unbearable any the atmosphere is annoying. Two of the three tvs in the lobby play two different programs with high volume! Do people with neurology issues need that sort of over stimulation? No, we don't. The staff is rude, disinterested, make no attempt to state your name correctly, constantly book appointments that run 30-40 late...I can go on and on. This will likely be my last visit; it's just not worth it.
