Dr. Vincent Hung is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He is an expert in Mohs surgery and Plastic Reconstruction Surgery. After having a horrible experience with another doctor on a previous Mohs, I learned of Dr. Hung. I have been seen in his office several times and each time it is a professional, kind experience. My latest Mohs surgery was in Nov. 2021 and I flew in from Missouri to have the best doctor, Dr. Hung do this procedure for me. I was extremely pleased with the results. I flew in from Missouri to have Dr. Hung perform my Mohs surgery. Even with the strict Covid rules in place for his office, it was worth it to me to comply, and isolate for 2 weeks prior to coming to his office for the surgery. The results of the surgery near the end of my nose were professionally executed and you can't even see where the skin graft is located. I would highly recommend Dr. Hung for anyone who wants the best, most professional Mohs surgery and reconstructive plastic surgery.

Dr. Hung is a well experienced surgeon. He is also a truly kind man. He did my skin cancer surgery, which was quite extensive, and I have felt extremely well cared for. His staff is just as wonderful. I am grateful that my dermatologist referred me to Dr. Hung.

I had a melanoma removed. First the doctor was an hour late with no explanation. Then he asked me if I wanted an anabiotic of course I have no idea that he said no maybe not. Went back to the follow up visit oh I have an infection. Try to follow up after two weeks can’t get the office 4 times-and no call back response. Hard to do wound care when the Dr won’t call or email.

Over a year ago, I went in for a simple scalp cyst removal that took over an hour. Up until now my head has a giant bald spot that feels really tender and now have a dent and marks on my scalp due to horrible stitching. I’ve had several Mohs surgeries in the past and this experience was far and above the rest! Dr Hung and his staff are professional, kind and caring. Also, look up Dr Hung’s credentials. They’re very impressive! The tumor I had on the side of my nose was done in three passes. When the doctor sewed it up I could tell I’m going to have a good outcome with minimal scaring, unlike the previous surgeries I’ve had. I can’t say enough about this office. Dr Hung is absolutely the very best. Always professional...and an absolute perfectionist with ensuring the scarring is minimal. I would not go to any other MOHSprofessiional...I cannot say enough good things about him. I have been with him for about 5-6 years with approximately 7 surgeries.

Dr. Hung is a talented physician and I am so glad I found his practice. It can get crowded in his waiting room but people are seen on a steady basis. There is a water dispenser in the waiting room but you should bring a snack in case it is a busy day. He helps so many people! I'm glad I purchased the bandage and care products from the office because stores just did not have the same quality of products when I needed more and they were often not in stock. I was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma Nodular Type, on my right temple. It required three surgical cuts to completely remove. The cut looked very deep the size of a silver dollar. The easiest way to say it is Dr. Hung and his team are AMAZING! It can be a bit scary and unsettling going in for your first Moh's procedure but Dr Hung and his team are kind, gracious, gentle, patient, encouraging and thorough. Hands down, Dr Hung has the best bedside manner I have ever experienced with a doctor and I've dealt with a lot of doctors! My procedure ended up being fairly simple compared to some of the other post I've read but when you're going in you have no idea what direction Dr. Hung will have to go or how much he will have to remove. I can say if I need any future procedures I would trust Dr. Hung in a heartbeat!! I would have posted before and after pictures but this site didn't make it easy unfortunately. Dr. Hung is very nice and professional, but a member of his clerical staff in Pasadena (I do not have her name) has been rather difficult to deal with. She told me not once but twice not to wear perfume since one of the members of Dr. Hung's staff is very allergic to perfume and went into medical shock when a patient came to their office wearing perfume. Since this same woman went into great detail about how perfume is a major no-no in Dr. Hung's office, I have a feeling she is the one who has the problem. This same woman gave me completely wrong directions to his office, and when I called to confirm my appointment, she sounded annoyed and instead of confirming my surgery with him in Pasadena, she switched me to his other office in Newport Beach who did confirm my appointmen for MOHS surgery. She's an unprofessional jerk, so if you can, try to avoid her with your interactions with Dr. Hung. Dr hung has magic hands. I was so worried about being left with a deformed lip and mouth from my surgery. However, after my surgery with dr hung you can’t even tell I had a surgery!!!

I recently underwent a complex procedure for an extensive Basal Cell Cancer on my face. My initial reaction, was, I will probably be scarred for life. Great experience with Dr Hung. His staff is warm and caring and Dr Hung is professional and thorough. You can’t tell I had a large skin graft on the side of my nose unless you look very close. I highly recommend him you will not be disappointed.

I have had two Mose procedures with Dr. Hung. Both experiences have been excellent, with professional, quality care both during the procedures and followup visits. Dr. Hung's staff are pleasant and knowledgeable, and always provided detailed information and advice on follow-up care. The office visits, in my experience, involved little to no waiting, and sometimes I was even taken in early! One downside of Dr. Hung's good reputation is that his surgeries are often booked out ahead several months. He's worth the wait, but be prepared for that. I had MOHS surgery today. There was a lot of waiting, but it was time well spent. His attention to detail and consideration are outstanding. His entire staff were extremely helpful and kind. I also had a melanoma removed, and during both procedures, he was notable for saying "please" when he asked for something from his assistants. An outstanding doctor!

I have needed Dr. Hung's services twice now. While you might need to spend the whole day at his office, the service and care you will get is amazing. His staff is fabulous. Dr. Hung will take all the time you need to feel comfortable with your procedure. I needed a skin graft on my face and the visible scarring is very minimal, thanks to his time, effort and skill! I have already recommended him to several of my friends and will continue to do so.

Dr. Hung is an outstanding physician as well as a kind and caring person. My professional relationship with him extends10+ years and he has removed 6 cancer sites on my body, primarily legs and face. I trust Dr Hung because he has earned my trust over many years thru his surgical skills and psychological support during anxiety provoking times.
