Very impressed with Dr. Gill. I reached out after a recent relocation to seek his services. I have struggled for 9 years to find the right doctor and combination of medicines to optimally function with a mental illness. In my first visit, Dr. Gill took the time to listen to my experiences and then relayed the causation back to me based on his many years of experience. He ordered up what has proved to be the right combination of medicines. My gratitude after such a long search is enormous.

Not friendly, didn't care. I am black also. I don't know if that had anything to do with how I was treated...I think it's a possibility honestly.

Stay away from this doctor if at all possible. Our daughters therapist referred us to Dr Gil. WORST THING WE DID WAS MAKING AN APPOINTMENT HERE. Within the first 3 sessions he had her on so many medications that just does her up and made her like a zombie and sleep all the time. It was as if every other week he was trying to get her on Lithium with all of her other meds. Best decision was leaving the doctor.

He immediately understood my concern and knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s a good listener and actually cares about you. Dr. Gill saved my life and I feel 100% again.

Dr. Gill has helped me immensely. He prescribed me an antidepressant called Nardil, and this medication has drastically changed my life for the better. Despite Nardil’s being arguably one of— if not the—most efficacious antidepressant on the market, few psychiatrists are willing to prescribe it, as it is an older antidepressant and taking it comes with a number of caveats: e.g, most notoriously, certain vital dietary restrictions. I am very grateful for the fact that Dr. Gill was willing to deviate from the imperfect standards of western medicine and prescribe Nardil to me. I do not know where I would be without this medication, and I highly recommend Dr. Gill’s services to anyone and everyone looking for an excellent psychiatrist.

Dr. Gill was very thoughtful and helpful. Through a fairly brief discussion he was able to determine something that other doctors had not and I was able to get a correct dosage and type of medication that I needed.

I’ve suffered my whole life with mental illness. Dr G changed that the first day I met him. He saved my life and I know he’s my guardian angel!

Dr. Gill was incredibly accommodating in a unique situation. On learning that I was job-seeking and without applicable insurance, he immediately lowered his consultation fee (without my asking), and offered to do the same for the follow-up appointment, should my situation remain unchanged. He was professional but amicable; clinical, but not cold. I highly recommend him.

I have been putting off seeing a doctor about my mental health but am so glad I got the courage and found Dr. Gill. Seeing an online doctor is new for me but after a few visits he has made me feel comfortable and I am feeling the benefits of his work! believer! He is a very nice and approachable doctor but treats you like a friend.

We had a great experience with Dr. Vikramjit Gill. I wholeheartedly recommend him. I don’t like going to the doctors much. As soon as you walk in I was greeted with friendly smiles and voices they truly make you feel welcomed. Dr. Gill is full of positive energy and thoughts. He will make you feel optimist and mentally healthy. He guides you more than prescribing medicines. Doctor Gill seemed to really care about my problem. My first encounter with Dr. Gill has been a great one. I am currently getting to some deep rooted stuff in therapy and needed to seek professional help from a psychiatrist. Dr. Gill was professional, knowledgeable, showed genuine concern, took the time and listened to me. He also displayed an amazing bedside manner.

Dr. Gill CARES. I’ve been to several psychiatrists and after only 3 visits I have never encountered a doctor as invested in my well-being. Seeking mental health professionals is strange; they are in general caring, but it’s also their business. With Dr. Gill there isn’t even an intimation of a conflict of interest. I am very grateful to have found him.

Dr. Gill is very knowledgeable and has helped me more in two months than my previous doctor, who I was with for 16 years, ever did. He took the time to understand my condition and was accurate with his choice of medications. He is very attentive and allows you to take things at your own pace, which I find very refreshing. I am fortunate to have found such a great doctor.

Extremely sweet and always is invested in the appointment. Straight forward with treatment and happy to adjust medications or treatments if side effects are frustrating.

Dr. Gill is very professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a new psychiatrist. He is very knowledgable and I am very happy with the treatment he has provided me.

Dr. Gill is friendly and knowledgable. I am prescribed medication for a serious (and fairly uncommon) sleep disorder & I lost my previous doctor unexpectedly. Finding him made a stressful time much more manageable. I continue to be thankful for his expertise.

One of the best psychiatrists I come across in IL. He listens carefully and always ready to take care of his patients. I was amazed by his interest to treat my mom to support her both emotionally and by providing value-based medicine. I previously came across many psych doctors to schedule an appointment and started believing that, in the USA, psych program is worst than 3rd-world-countries, and I felt so relief after meeting Dr. Gill. The staff is also very good, calm, and polite.

Dr. Gill was an integral part in helping me understand my illness and developing a recovery plan over the past 5 years. He genuinely cared about my well-being. He was very helpful with checking my medications and was willing to work with me in reducing them and finding better coping mechanisms. Along with treatment and therapy, he focuses on keeping a balanced lifestyle with proper eating, sleeping and exercise. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a new psychiatrist.
