I am giving 0 stars. The inhumane, unprofessional staff before you even attempt to see the doctor are off putting and flat out rude. People come there for service and medical attention. If you are having a bad day, the medical field is not for you. We now have to find someone else to provide medical care for my child. We spent $30 in Uber there to not be seen. After calling in to inquire why she was turned away, the lady that answered the phone with a thick accent was very rude. She has no manners and if she spoke to me that way I could only imagine how she spoke with my child. So not only was money wasted we did not get the care my child has desperately needed. Now we have to find another care taker. I do not recommend this facility based off of first impressions. If it were life or death for this appointment considering how my child is struggling with her diabetes where would we be? The world is cruel enough. Why would we have to deal with this in medical care.

She never even filled my prescription for my osteoporosis. Terrible patient bedside skills. Rude.

I believe if I followed her advice my husband would have died. He had an advanced recurrent thyroid disease that she dismissed due to lab results. Her recommendations to wait as there was no need to be concerned made no sense so reached out for a second opinion. Thank God I did as a month later my husband had surgery to remove multiple lymph nodes that were cancer positive. She and her staff were quite rude when I tried to reach out to get my husband's original test results. They appeared much more concerned about closing for the weekend than realizing what a few extra minutes would have done to our wellbeing. The lack of compassion was quite surprising given I thought both me and my husband had developed a solid friendship with her. I rarely write a negative review as am also a professional so know the seriousness of doing so. I waited a year plus to write this but feel it is very warranted if it can make a difference for someone else who is looking for an endocrinologist.

Office staff member was beyond rude and there was not appropriate level of information or concern given to us regarding my husband’s treatment.

Office staff did not call back to setup new patient appointment. I had to call and remind then again.

My ex husband has a heart condition and his cardiologist suspected it was related to diabetes. My ex had a blood test done that showed he had Type 2 diabetes. While he was waiting for the test results, he had another svt episode that landed him in the ER where they also took his blood and told him he needed to see an Endocrinologist for treatment of his diabetes and his increasingly severe peripheral neuropathy. The good thing about his insurance is he can self refer to specialists so he went to see Dr.Gunna. Dr.Gunna confirmed he had diabetes, asked why he was not treated for it by his cardiologist or g.p., told him to go to the ER for his neuropathic pain because, "Diabetes doesn't cause that". She didn't even give him a food guide or diet. She just told him to check his blood sugar levels using the kits from the store. She didn't tell him what to do if his blood sugar spikes. She looked at this man with a severe health issue that she has is supposed to treat, saw him broken down in pain and decided, "I will not help him". She asked him twice why he had come to her. Don't Endocrinologists treat diabetes? Apparently not this one. Dr.Gunna wasted this patients time; she was callous and misinformed. If you are diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and you need a doctor's help and guidance, do not expect to get it from Dr.Gunna. I came for my wife here. Doctor is fine but the waiting time is minimum 1 hr all the time. Its difficult for contract employees like me to plan the work. In the hospital, there is a welcome note saying "WE ARE GLAD, YOU ARE HERE" What?? Are you seriously glad to see a sick person? Also i had a bad experience with blood work followups since i had to constantly followup for the blood reports. Someone calls you to tell you about the report who is so urgent that they explain your blood report in just 10 seconds and hang up. Its so hard for a medically dumb person like me. Dr. Gunna and staff were all very welcoming. The girls at the front, Brittani and Cynthia went above and beyond for me.

Wait time is more. She never maintains the time. Wait time is almost 1 hour.

Dr Gunna was thorough and professional. She also answered all my questions and explained things well. The whole office is friendly and makes going to the doc as positive as possible. I highly recommend!

Dr. Gunna is a very nice doctor but her staff made me go out without checkup after a 25 min drive. Before 3 months, I had to cancel my appointment since I was leaving out of the country. No one care to followup later for a new appointment and when I called they gave me of month later. I was fine but they had to refill my prescriptions since they were getting expired before next appointment. The Lady at desk(Ms. Sessy - not sure if I am spelling correctly) said she will talk to Dr. Gunna for refill. I checked with my Pharmacy and that was waiting for approvals from Doctor. It’s been a week now, I called Dr. Gunna’s office and after a confusing automated messages, I got hold of another staff this time. She said will talk to Dr. Gunna and get back to me by end of the day, still no response. I was so frustrated since I was out my prescriptions and my blood sugar was getting high. I had to send an email explaining all this to Dr. Gunna and finally they called me to confirmed that they have approved for one month. For my next appointment, Suddenly, I get a call saying that Dr.Gunna is not available on 6/27, so we need to reschedule it. So, they scheduled for 6/21 morning 8am, and I’ve got a message about it. I went this morning at 8 am, door was locked. Front desk Lady opened the door(Sessy). She said I don’t have any appointment today, I said I got a call about it and a message too. She said I’ve got a message to call them back and not for the appointment. Seriously? Am I that stupid to come fasting early morning without any confirmation? She was very rude to talk to me. She said something that missed so I asked to her repeat (3 times), She was quite and said “I am not here to argue with you” I lost it and I said I want to go now and cancel this visit today. She was happy to gave me my credit card back (after swiping) and never said anything. I am going to loose Dr.Gunna because of her staff. Initially when I began seeing Dr. Gunna it as because my PCP mis-diagnosed my thyroid issue and would not up my dosage. At that time I was very pleased with the attention that she gave me and how thoroughly she looked through my test results. Now, however, I am very upset that they require me to come back every 3 months for a new office visit with labs when my levels have been fine for the last 9 months. Given I have had this condition for 15 years, I NEVER had to go in that often, not even to a prior endocrinologist I was seeing in COlorado, when my levels were fluxing. Typically if I had a change or felt my level was off, I would get checked every 6 months, then if no changes were made it was yearly from that point forward. Being on a high deductible health plan and having to go in every 3 months when nothing has changed is excessive to say the least. Now my opinion of Dr. Gunna's office is that they only want to get you in there to get more money. Perhaps you should reconsider your "best practice" for checking thyroid levels. I would rather go without and find a new provider than give you another office visit unnecessarily. Doctor is good.

Everyone is so nice at this office!! I've been going to Dr. Gunna since at least 2016. She has always been attentive, very kind and caring of my thyroid and health.

She's thorough, reviews my history before she sees me and will have a real conversation about options. She's a huge improvement over my last endocrinologist.

oh yes, the staff is very friendly, but does that make up for a doc who is clueless and proud of it, too?

I have been a patient of Dr. Gunna for the past 3 years . I am happy with the care and advice she gives. The staff is very helpful.

The Doc was friendly and nice. Seems to know her stuff and is helpful. So the 5 stars. Front desk told me they booked me for 9:30 appt when I called. When I rchd there, I was told I arrived early for 10:15 appt. Front desk needs to better their communication.

Dr Gunna is a very knowledgeable. I moved 45 min away I still will be going to her office. Front desk is very friendly and accommodating. No complains. I highly recommend.

Very unpleasant experience.

The worse physician that I have ever worked for. She refuses to give patients refunds and instructs her staff to LIE to the patients about what they are owed. She is a HORRIBLE communicator and expects you to come in the door and run her office immediately, but refuses to allow you to do anything in your job description. Then deems you incapable of what she never instructed you to do. How do you know what a person can do if you never asked or witnessed them doing it? She also micromanages her employees, she wants you in her eyesight at all times. You can't even go to the bathroom with her wondering where you are and getting upset. She's also very cheap, and only wants to pay you several dollars under the normal wage for the area. The only great thing I can say about this job is that she pays you an additional few dollars, separate from your check to clean the office everyday. Patients, I beg you you to review your EOB( explanation of benefits) and Sue her for every dime she owes you. Prospective employees, please find another employer. She is a liar( Another former employer used her as a reference and Dr.Gunna LIED and said the young lady Never worked there), Lazy, and unapproachable. If you're smart you won't work here. Terrible wait time every time... Even early am appointments.

Fantastic and very welcoming staff, Fantastic Doctor. I didn't have to call the doctor for any results, they called me one day after I did all my tests. Love this place and recommend it to any of you looking for professionalism.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gunna's for a few years now. I love her and probably owe her my life. I won't go into details, but Graves Disease is the worst. Her staff is always wonderful and super helpful. Monyetta is always happy to go above and beyond to help me out.

I am about to celebrate my 48th anniversary since being diagnosed with Type1-Juvenile onset Diabetes. I have seen and worked with many endocrinologist and diabetes specialist over the years. Dr. Gunna has been a blessing to me. At this point in my life my diabetes is in great control, thanks to Dr. Gunna. She takes the time to listen to my needs and we discuss together the best way for me to continue living healthy. I should also comment on Dr. Gunna's staff, they are always welcoming and friendly which makes any doctor's visit pleasant and less stressful and are always helpful in addressing my needs. I have been her patient for over a year now and my experience with her and her staff has been really good. The doctor explains the situation to you very well and does not put you on medication unless and until its needed. Her staff is also very courteous and prompt in returning voice mails.

Great experience with Dr. Gunna. I went to her for a second opinion after getting an extensive blood test at another office. My previous doctor told me I had thyroid issues and put me on a thyroid medication that gave me terrible side effects. Come to find out I did not need the medication at all because nothing was wrong with my thyroid in the first place. Dr. Gunna was very helpful in telling me what was really wrong with me. I'm grateful that unlike a lot of other doctors she is not in it just for the money. I am very pleased with my experience here. Great experience with Dr. Gunna. today was my first visit with Dr. Gunna and I was very happy with it! The staff is very friendly and the environment is really clean and relaxing. I've definitely found my new endo! I really appreciate that Dr. Gunna asked me what I thought was happening to my body. She really listened to what I had to say and that is something that I felt was missing with my other endocrinologist. I've only been seeing Dr Gunna for about 2 months and for the first time since 2005 my diabetes is in a controllable level. Almost to the point of a person without diabetes. I've also lost 31 pounds thanks to her guidance and books she gave me.
