Very friendly, comfortable with do god who was very knowledgeable and set me at peace with prognosis and further treatment plan.

OrthoArkansas is the best! I have been treated here three times for three different problems. Never had a complication, always treated well, everything in one place, very convenient. Providers listen! Staff always kind and attentive.

Very good experience

Dr. Vargas along with the staff at Ortho Arkansas we're great! I love the fact that it wasn't a long drawn out visit. Everything was quick and efficient.

I went to OrthoArkansas with a fractured elbow & was immediately seen by a doctor. I’ve continued to see Dr. Vargas who has been extremely understanding & very informative as to my progress. I would highly recommend them!

I had a mild ankle injury that was keeping me from my favorite hobby, tennis. I suspected a stress fracture but needed to know for sure if I should continue resting. Before meeting the doctor, they gave me an x ray. Dr. Vargas then came in and asked some questions, physically examined my ankle, and showed me the problem on the x ray. He suspected a stress fracture but needed an MRI to confirm the diagnosis. He told me to continue resting until we get the MRI results back. I was really happy with the whole experience. I appreciated that Dr. Vargas had reviewed my symptoms before my appointment and had an x ray lined up. He was friendly, professional, and efficient. I was in and out in about an hour and 15 minutes. I look forward to my final MRI, diagnosis, and recommended treatment - which I suspect will be more rest.

I was very pleased with Dr. Vargus's knowledge of my problem.

Dr Vargas was very nice and informative. He showed interest in how I felt.

Dr Vargas listened to my concerns and addressed them appropriately. Honestly not a hand holding physician but he was courteous and knowledgeable. I don’t need a “friend” for my physician, just a physician that listens and addresses my health issues.

Very professional

Very impressive and very pleased with his care.

I was treated in the office of Dr. Victor Vargas for a knee problem I was experiencing. The office atmosphere was very good, the staff was friendly and professional, and I was pleased with the treatment I received. Dr. Vargas addressed my questions and concerns and I will continue receiving treatment as a patient in his practice.

Dr. Vargas was very professional and listened to all my concerns. This is my second visit and second injection. The first steroid injection was in my hip and the last one was in my shoulder. Both were pain free during the procedure. Dr. Vargas did an amazing job from the beginning to the end. He was very reassuring and concerned about my pain level. I highly recommend Dr. Vargas!

Dr. Vargas and his staff have been beyond exceptional! I will recommend them to everybody. There is practically no wait and Dr. Vargas is always great to deal with. All of my procedures have been pain free and he is always great to talk to about any issues or concerns. 10/10 recommend.

I had problems with shoulder replacement surgery and was referred to him by my surgeon to remove fluid from my shoulder. After waiting 1 hour past my appointment time I encountered a young short nurse that was neither friendly or helpful. She identified herself as his surgical nurse and she really needs a reprimand for being hateful. Must have chip on her shoulder. I then waited another hour in the exam room. Dr. Vargas seemed detached and hard to understand. I don't recommend him and will ask to see another Dr next time.

Calm, attentive, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and helpful!!! His calmness was appreciated due to my frustration with my ongoing pain. He has what I’d call “great bedside manners.” He listened to my concerns and provided the feedback I needed. His diagnosis and suggestions were also useful. Very friendly!

I'm very pleased with the care of the staff. Dr. Vargas really explained the x-rays and the ultrasound to me. Well pleased with my visit!

Dr. Vargas is a wonderful Doctor. I have seen him multiple times for various medical care. He spends quality time with me explaining the procedures as we go. Dr Vargus is a thorough and caring doctor. I’ve been seeing him for several years and I am very satisfied.

Sprained thumb in household incident. Properly diagnosed and discussed options for treatment. Took time to explain the injury and why treatment vital to longterm health of thumb. Dr. Vargus is easy to talk to and ask questions.

After carefully listening to my somewhat complex complaint about knee and upper leg pain Dr Vargas conducted an exam and explained the results of X-ray imaging taken minutes before our consultation. He explained that the X-ray revealed osteoarthritis in the knee and suggested a conservative approach of a steroid injection and effusion of about 40 ml of excessive knee fluids for today's visit. He suggest a follow up visit to see how my other issue, possibly involving spinal stenosis, might resolve prior to taking further action which made good sense to me. This was my first steroid injection and I knew that they can involve some pain and discomfort. I was astounded that both the injection and effusion procedure were both quite painless for me and I put that down to Dr Vargas's skill. I will look forward to the next consultation with Dr Vargas in about 3 weeks. 24 hours after the procedure I have had no discomfort at all at the injection site.

Very rude... dont listen to you when u tell him ur in pain. I would not refer to him as a specialist cause if he dont know how to treat you then he tells u nothing is wrong with you..would never refer anyone to this doctor

OMG! I and so upset and in so much pain after waiting for the doctor for an hour and a half and paying$60.(this dr. vargas got Horrible reviews online but was the only one that could see me) They took 2 x-rays and he came in and said he doesn't see anything in the x-rays it must be my fibromyalgia. You can't see my disc problem on x-ray I've had this torn disc for awhile, I need an MRI, he refused to schedule me one and said if I don't want pills, pain management, and physical therapy he can't help me! And his nurse kept trying to walk out of the room when i asked a question as if I was bothering her. I'm in tears from sitting there on that table for so long and no help! idk what to do! Took care of me and notice the problem with my knee and back having surgery soon on both

I went to him for almost a year of extreme hip pain I was having. Prior to that I had been to Dr. Vargus for back pain. Sometimes the wait takes awhile. But most doctors offices do take awhile. He has given me steriod injections in my back in his office. No waiting for appointments and I'm sure less costly. Plus, they work great. He also gave me a ultrasound guided injection in my hip in his office. He sat me down and told me I needed a rod in my back due to degenerative disc disease. But he told me I could manage the issues with weight loss, supplements and proper physical therapy. That's just what I have done. His advice about my hip turned out to be accurate as well. He won't keep you doped up and he will not give you a surgery you do not need. All this being said after years of going to Dr. Vargus I understand him now. He is actually a very kind man. The most uncaring, cold, jerk of a doctor. Treated me like I'm some drug addiction looking for pills. Had a MRI and he never even talked to me about it. Basically said I'm getting old and I need to be more careful. Terrible bedside manner. In fact.....he and absolute jerk! Had 230 appointment was the VERY last patient or employee. Dr Vargas spent maybe 4 minutes and never explained the mri. Just that I am getting old (47) IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!

Dr. Vargus is rude and has continuously been throughout my treatment. His nurse is wonderful but the lack of effort and treatment put forth by the doctor, as well as his poor bedside manner, I rather live with a limitating and painful injury than see him again.

I was very pleased with the care that I received from Dr Vargas. I have read several bad reviews on here about him, but I believe most of that can be chopped up to his No-BS approach to treatment. He is very direct and doesn't beat around the bush. He can come off as having a poor bedside manner I guess, but I prefer that over a Dr that just wants to dope you up on pills. Dr Vargas will tell you what you need to hear, regardless of if its what you want to hear or not. I received a steroid injection in the office which I thought was out of the norm, but it was as painless as a steroid injections can be and it relieved my pain without having to wait a few more weeks to schedule another appointment. I was a little worried because I didn't see many good reviews, but I really liked Dr Vargas. I felt like he spent plenty of time with me, explained my diagnosis and treatment, and was truly concerned for getting me healed and back to work. Dr Vargas seemed ready to dismiss me because my x-ray was normal. He did give me a steroid shot as a means of determining if my condition was bursitis. While he was giving me the shot, he got a phone call. He didn't answer it, but as soon as he finished with the shot, he was texting or checking his calls or something with his phone. The next day, I was the most sore I have ever been from a steroid shot. I wonder if the phone caused him to lose his focus. Very unprofessional.

This Dr. Vargas is a joke. I went to him after being in an accident. He recommended spine injections which I did and ended up with a spinal headache and more back pain than I had when I first went to him. I made a appointment to see him to discuss things and after waiting over an hour and fifteen minutes past my appointment time I had enough and walked out and I will not be going back there. Go at your own risk. The only reason I gave him one star is because I had to give him at least one star.
