I had cluster seizures for 10 years. My original neurologist said that he wasn’t able to control the seizures so I began seeing Dr. Biton. Within a month or so after seeing him, he suggested brain ???? surgery. I agreed. Dr. Yasargil was my neurosurgeon and the surgery ???? took place in September of ‘96. The idea of someone cutting my head open was super scary . At that time, I didn’t grasp what excellent doctors I had. I do now and have been seizure-free for 28 years! ????????????????????

My journey with epilepsy wouldn't be continuing along without the Arkansas Epilepsy Program at my back. I would have fallen down and died without the EEP holding me up. This office, Dr. Biton, and this staff have all kept me alive for almost 15 years; I have no idea how I could ever repay them. Visiting this office for me is like visiting relatives I haven't seen in a long while- I genuinely love these people. Dr. Biton and his staff are forward, friendly, clean, efficient, and comforting. Biton seems somewhat shy in person, but he is extremely well-educated and unbelievably sharp- he has devoted his life to the inner workings of the mind and how to communicate what he has found with his patients. He treats each individual case for each patient as a mystery he is working to solve, and he is not happy until the mystery has been solved- he will work with you tirelessly as your detective until you figure it out together and he won't desert you. Biton has written and published a massive amount of information on what he has found over the years, and he continues to test new medications and publish his results. I can't tell you enough how much I love this office, this fantastic staff, and this wonderful physician, Victor Biton. The Arkansas Epilepsy Program and Clinical Trials are my lifeline and my family away from my family. This is where you need to be to understand your brain. - Sara Dawn Randazzo My journey with epilepsy wouldn't be continuing along without the Arkansas Epilepsy Program at my back. EXTREMELY rude older lady receptionist. The doctor is about as nice. They tried to bill me for someone with the same last name as me. Never got it fixed after speaking to them 20+ times. Dr. Biton is the perfect doctor for you if you want a shady, judgmental doctor that had absolutely no answers for my seizure disorder and he's supposedly a seizure specialist? He kept telling me the medication I was on wasn't a good anticonvulsant. I told him I was more than willing to try a new medication but never even gave recommendations much less switched my medications. If you want your time monumentally wasted, get treated like crap, and wait for hours to be seen....this is the the place for you! I wouldn't go back to him if he was the last neurologist on Earth.

I have been going to Dr Bion since he started at Baptist.. around 27 years.. I decided to try a Neurologist in NWA.. close to home.. I didn't stay gone long.. Truly everyone in that office is Awesome.. it's the one place you don't have to feel ashamed because you have seizures..or you need to hide what's wrong with you.. Epilepsy is not understood by many.. I promise this is the place to go... I have been going to Dr Bion since he started at Baptist.. around 27 years.. Dr. Biton is a great doctor and he is very patient when it comes to my epilepsy. My doctor from my hometown sent me to him because they didn’t know what else to do for me. Believe me when I say Dr. Biton has helped a lot. Especially finding the right combination of medicines to help me! He’s very compassionate about what he does an I wish I would’ve found him a long time ago! Dr. Biton is a great doctor and he is very patient when it comes to my epilepsy. I have gone to Dr. Biton for years. I suffered with uncontrollable seizures for years and he has found the right treatment for me. He will keep on until he does. You will not find a better staff anywhere.

I have gone to Dr. Biton for years. And his goal has always been to have my seizures totally gone. And he has found a very good combination of medicines to control mine. I still have one every now and then but his expertise has lessened the frequency of mine. I would highly recommend him to any with epilepsy or seizures.

I have been a patient with this doctor about a year. Despite all of the test and restrictions. I've complied without question. As to no result. While I haven't had seizures anymore. I believe my experience was a misdiagnosis. Medication didn't help even with meds I still had a few episodes. I believe there was a misinterpretation of multiple eeg test. After deciding to be done with the Dr. Visits I've still had no issues and have eliminated the inconvience of unnecessary test and wasting time.

Dr. Biton was the only dr that could understand my problems he diagnosed me with brain spams. I had been to 5 dr's and off work for 3 months because no one could understand my problems after 2 appointment Dr Biton had me back to normal and back to work ! I thank God everyday for Dr Biton and his great staff . It has been almost 5 years and I have had very few almost no trouble I would recommend Dr Biton to anyone that can not get answers from your family dr or special dr's they send you to.

Some of his test seem intrusive and unnecessary. My son had already been formally diagnosed with epilepsy early this year. He wore an EEG which recorded a seizer. Dr. Biton wanted to redo the study because the doctor in another state didn't give the actual tape of my son's brain activities during the seizer. So now my son is required to do another EEG three day with audio and video. I do believe they should tell people before they go that is a required. To my knowledge this is not standard

The only Neurologist able to correctly identify, treat and cure a neurological disorder and seizures I was born with. After over thirty years of unsuccessful treatments by countless other neurologists I begin seeing Dr Biton. Within three months of treatment and exams my epilepsy was completely under control with the help of medications and surgery. Have been seizure free for 23 plus years.
