Visiting with Dr. G was so helpful! I was going through a lot of health issues at the same time and was facing challenges with my son's diagnosis as well. What I liked most was coming up with a game plan of how to interact and handle certain situations. We focused on preparing ahead of time so that I wouldn't get caught in the emotions when conflict would arise. She helped me step outside of myself and look at what I was going through in a different way. This helped me take more control and move through the issues I was dealing with. Dr. Vera Gabliani is in a master class all by herself within her profession. We were referred to her about two years before we decided to seek her services and our referral source raved about her. After having a subpar experience with another counselor, my daughter was very skeptical about seeing someone else. After connecting with Dr. G. it was clear from the first telephone call that she was special and she really cares about her patients. Although my daughter was her focus, I felt like she gave our family a better understanding of how to work through tough issues. By the end of our sessions, my daughter and I were hesitant to leave her—and we both came back after the last session to thank her and give her a hug. She is an outstanding therapist. She is empathetic, identifies exactly what is going on with your emotions/feelings, and provides practical, insightful, and effective suggestions for problem solving.

I saw this psychologist as a teen and she was unhelpful. She refused to let me discuss the issues which led to my being in therapy or really teach me any coping skills. I was called a derogatory name as well. I've had to address what went on in therapy with this doctor in therapy as an adult to heal from it.
