Dr. Erella Tammy are quite amazing! They gave me my life back. Wether you are looking for implants or explants, they are amazing. I even mistakenly went and got a second opinion. People do your research. A lot of surgeons won’t talk to you about explant. Some aren’t board certified. They listened. Turns out, my body just doesn’t like anything in it. I know it’s different for everyone. Dr. Erella, I added your name to the list of doctors in my support group of 174,000 women currently getting explants. So be ready for some phone calls! This is what freedom from my health feels like. My panic attacks are gone. Vertigo is gone. The rings around my eyes are gone. I can see the life in my skin and even my eyes again. I’m glowing. Dr. Erella & Tammy (she'll your POC before & after surgery) are a great team. I went to several consults & really weighed between Aspira & one other center. I ultimately went with Dr. Erella & am glad I did. He did a great job on my breasts, from the size, shape, feel and how high/low they sit. He did really great! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of a questionable extra charge. I was charged an extra $300 because I was told that "anesthesia price went up" since we had last spoken. I had to reschedule once, which I paid the almost $300 fee for, so add that extra fee for a sudden spike in price for anesthesia was strange. But I paid it. On the day of my surgery, I spoke to the anesthesiologist beforehand and he had no idea what I was talking about. He had not heard about any rise in cost. I asked for a ledger printout and never got anything with some kind of proof that there was a spike in price. Other than that, Aspira was a great choice. Over the previous 20 months I had lost over 160 lbs (lifestyle change, exercise and God's grace). I was looking for a solution to the excess skin and fat that was prevalent around my abdomen and side flanks. I did a considerable amount of research and found Dr. Erella and Aspira Plastic Surgery. I had an initial consultation in the fall of 2021 and found Dr. Erella to be a very straightforward, kind physician. He explained the options I had but kindly told me the only way to permanently deal with it was with a procedure called a 360 abdominoplasty. Dr. Erella and his wonderful 'do it all' office manager Tammy put no pressure on me to schedule the procedure and told me to contact them if I had any more questions or concerns. I wanted to lose another ten pounds or so. Having accomplished that loss, I made another consultation appointment and we scheduled the procedure at the end of February. I am almost 3 weeks post op and I could not be happier. While there is still healing going on the results I have are better than I could have ever imagined. In my weight loss journey I believe the surgery was not the last step but a necessary action to get to my final goal. Thank you Dr. Erella! I had a gynecomastia surgery done with Dr. Erella about a month ago and am very pleased with the results. Dr. Erella is quick to the point and has a no bs personality. We had a couple consultations prior to the surgery in which he answered all of my questions, described the condition and surgery process, and told me what results I may expect. I was awake for the surgery, but the team made me feel comfortable and talked with me throughout the surgery. I have also had multiple check-ups in the last month with Dr. Erella to ensure I am recovering properly. I always felt very well informed at every stage of the process. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Ven Errela and Tammy! I came to Dr. Errela when I started having swelling and pain with my original implants, which were done by a different surgeon 3 years ago. I saw a couple other surgeons, but felt like no one was listening to my concerns until I came to Aspira. I just underwent my implant replacement with capsulectomy, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I had inner thigh lift with outer thigh lipo with Dr. Erella. Dr. Erella was highly referred by members who have had bariatric surgery. Dr. Erella is a great plastic board certified surgeon and has many years of experience. He’s a total professional who takes the time to review everything with you and works with you to set expectations. These types of surgeries are serious and should be taken very serious. I went home same day after surgery with no drainages. I’m 4+ weeks out with no major issues and minimal scars. I’m not fully back to being extremely active to allow for full healing which is normal and expected. A big shout out to Ms. Tammy. She is Dr. Erella’s business assistant and she has been wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Erella and his nurse Tammy. My whole experience has been wonderful from the 1st consultation to my results. During my consultation, Dr. Erella was the one to see me and explain the procedure vs. Another office I went to where you only talked to a "nurse" and didn't even meet the doctor until you booked your pre-op appointment. (How do you know you want to move forward if you dont talk to the doctor?!?!). He was detailed, and I was so impressed with how knowledgeable he is about the human body. My posture, body type, etc can all effect the procedure and results, and he saw it all at first glance. I was sold from that moment, and as a bonus I came to find out when booking, the procedure was actually less expensive at Aspira too. My procedure day was so easy as well. Tammy the nurse was helpful, kind and nurturing. She talked me through all the steps, was there to hold my hand during, and is such a positive presence. Not to mention she makes you feel comfortable. Am I disfigured? No. Am I happy with results? No. Do I feel I was treated well by the doctor and his assistant? No. I thought I made the right decision based on the doctor’s credentials and great reviews on RealSelf and other sites, but I was mistaken. I was hoping to have a better shape and proportion by sculpting away fat in the right places to smooth out bulges. I do not feel he did a good job contouring or blending the areas done with the surrounding areas. There are irregularities and, in some areas, it doesn’t look like I had lipo done at all. I decided to have numerous areas done so in order to accomplish this, I had to schedule 3 separate surgeries which were done a few weeks apart. On one of the surgery days, as he was marking the areas, he recommended an additional area that hadn't been brought up during the consultation. This is just one example of why I don't feel the initial consultation was very thorough; there was a lack of communication explaining what was included in each area and which areas needed to be done in order to get the overall desired body shape. Even more troubling to me, than not getting the desired results, was the way I was treated. The surgeries are done in the office and you are given a cocktail of oral medications (pain killers, sedative, antibiotic, etc). The doctor’s assistant contacts your predetermined designated driver towards the end of your surgery. The assistant called my designated driver to come pick me up on the first and second surgery days. After the third surgery, instead of calling my designated driver, the assistant asked me “do you want me to call him or do you want to?”. It's ridiculous to expect someone who just got out of surgery and who is sedated to coordinated their own ride. The day after the third and final surgery, I called Aspira and left a voicemail about the compression garment being too tight and cutting off circulation. I did not receive a return call so I called again the next day. The doctor answered the phone. I let him know that I left a voicemail the previous day and I hadn’t received a response. Without even checking or verifying, he told me that Cindi, his assistant, had called me back and told me what to do about the compression garment being too tight. I politely informed him that I did not receive a call from Cindi. He proceeded to tell me that she did call and that I don’t remember it because I was on pain medication. Unbelievable!!! I have the phone records to prove she didn’t call and even if I didn’t, the 7mg of pain medication would not have caused me to forget. This was so very insulting to me. The solution they provided, for my compression garment issue, was for me to go to a sporting goods store such as Academy or Dick’s and buy a compression shirt. So, I went out, while in extreme pain (just had surgery) and during a pandemic to try and find a compression shirt. I went to 3 different stores trying to find something. It was painful and exhausting. I did not find anything that worked either. The lack of adequate compression means I suffered more swelling and pain than I needed to :( I spent A LOT of money here and I was treated poorly. I am not happy with the results either. Dr. Erella did a liposuction for my cousin. She researched on many doctors in the Austin area and talked to a few. In the end, she decided to go with Dr. Erella because he was the most practical in terms of expectation and knowledgeable. Since he did a thorough job on her, I decided to go to Dr. Erella for a tummy tuck. The tummy tuck experience was better than I expected. I didn't experience any pain under Dr. Erella's care. The most painful was the IV injection which is needed for the sedation; otherwise, the discomfort was very manageable. Overall, I have a positive experience with Dr. Erella and his staff. I would recommend Dr. Erella to friends and family. PROS: - I find Dr. Erella to be straight to the point. He doesn't go around the bushes or tries to sell you anything more than what you requested for. In my first meeting with him, I pointed out my problem areas and those were the areas he focused on. He didn't make me feel insecure in my appointment with him. - I felt he cares about the result as much as I did. After my tummy tuck surgery, I have frequent check-ins with him to ensure my recovery and healing are progressing as expected. - Scheduling: Finding an available time is very easy. You'll always find a time that is most convenient for you to be readily available. - Dr. Erella's assistant, Cyndi, is wonderful and very responsive. She deserved a gold star. - The office is clean and cozy. CONS: - The only thing I can think of is when you have an appointment, you'll receive a text message and need to reply "Y" to confirm the appointment. Dr Erella treated me with care and thoroughness. My surgery went as planned (currently about 3 weeks post surgery) and I have been in good contact with Dr Erella and his team. My questions are always answered and only valuable advice is given. I recommended this practice to anyone that is looking for Dr Erella's set of skills.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr Erella and Aspira Plastic Surgery. They were a breath of fresh air after talking with and meeting with a few other plastic surgery offices and surgeons. They provide a very comfortable and relaxed office atmosphere with no pressure, they are informative, quick to respond and very personable. I had been wanting a breast augmentation for a while now, but every other surgeon and their office that I met with or talked to kept telling me I absolutely HAD to have a full breast lift, there was no way around it, my breasts would never look good again without it. I knew that I was right on the line of maybe needing one but maybe not. Dr Erella was the ONLY surgeon who did a thorough exam and then explained to me exactly that: that I was right on the line of maybe needing a lift but maybe not. I talked to him about my concerns over scarring and that I wanted to avoid an anchor scar at all costs, and he assured me that I didn't have to have a lift right now, I could do the implants first and see how I liked them in and if I did eventually want a lift, he could do it with much less of a scar than a full anchor scar. He relayed an experience of another client who was like me, right on the line, who had implants put in and was very happy with how she looked so then there was no need to do a lift. That's when I knew he was the surgeon for me! He listens to his patients, advises them taking their concerns into consideration and unlike the other surgeons I spoke with - is actually concerned with the patients overall happiness. I am two weeks out from surgery having implants put in (NO LIFT), and my breasts already look AMAZING!!!! I am stunned at the results and am so glad I went with him, as they settle they are only going to look better. The incisions under my breasts are perfectly made so that the bottom of my breasts are nicely rounded. After listening to me explain how I wanted to look and how big I wanted them to be, he helped me choose the size and shape of the implant and I have to say, he knew what he was talking about when he said "I think you would look best at this size, with this kind of implant". The surgery itself went perfectly from my perspective. The surgery center he contracts with was great, informative, and comfortable. Dr Erella took great care to ensure I would not be nauseated when I woke up after surgery and this is the first and only time it has worked (I've had surgery 3 x's prior to this for other reasons-puked and was miserable every time but this time). I was not nauseated or groggy at all! It was expected that I'd be very sore for a few days, and I was, but after two weeks all soreness is gone and I feel great. My breasts are softening up so nicely. I don't know how he did the surgery so that the recovery would also be as easy as possible, but he did. I would highly recommend Aspira Plastic Surgery. I loved my experience with Aspira Plastic Surgery. My consultation appointment was nothing but the best. I felt like Dr. Erella listened to my concerns and was able to give me his experienced recommendations and was very realistic about the results. I've had 4 hydrafacials with Taylor so far and am LOVING the results! For the last 2 years I've had really dry patches on some parts of my face while at the same time having clogged pores around my nose and chin. I saw results after the 1st hydrafacial but the cummulative effect of the series has been astounding. The dry patches are gone, I've got way less blackheads and am constantly getting compliments on my skin. Taylor is very attentive and dedicated to providing top notch service. This review is overdue as I had an arm lift procedure done about 8 months ago. While the procedure itself was satisfactory, Dr. Erella came off as extremely rude and rushed past the consultation very fast almost as if he needed to be somewhere else. He asked questions about my ethnic background and did not even smile a single time. I went out of my way to try to be friendly and tried to remain composed which is something he should have been doing instead of me. Looking at the rest of the reviews, I am very surprised that I received this sort of treatment but many others had a positive one. I was recommended by a good friend of mine so I went ahead with the procedure because I figured that as long as I got good results, it would not matter. After my procedure I was immediately rushed outside instead of given a few minutes to even rest. Joleen was extremely nice but Dr. Erella was just unexpectedly rude. It felt like he was forced to do the procedure and was very unfriendly. Just to be clear, I am satisfied with my results (could have been better) but I was dissatisfied with my treatment. Even my friend that came with me to the follow up noticed this. My advice would be that there’s many great surgeons in Austin that can get the job done. My experience with Dr. Erella and Aspira Plastic Surgery was amazing. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Just stop looking....you found your surgeon. But for those that want more details on why I feel this way: I had been considering several different approaches to deal with stubborn fat around my flanks and abdomen mainly that wouldn't shrink, no matter how I ate or exercised. I knew I didn't want anything as invasive as a Tummy Tuck, but was considering both Cool Sculpting and Smart Lipo. After doing a ton of research and narrowing my list to 3 doctors in the area and settling on SmartLipo, I went to visit each. Dr. Erella was the ONLY one to actually meet with me on my initial consultation. And it wasn't some casual, 5 minute meet and greet. He spent easily 30-45 minutes discussing my objectives, assessing my body shape and problems areas and then, in detail, with drawings, explaining the procedure he would do. He put me at ease but also didn't sugar coat where the challenges would be and where the procedure stood the greatest chance of success. His pricing and policies were very fair and reasonable and I actually took the plunge and added a few more areas on my own accord, not through any suggestions or pressure from Dr. Erella. With my safety and results as the utmost importance in his mind, we split my areas in 2 separate days spaced a few weeks apart. Both days, he took his time, had great bedside manner, as did his staff. His technique and approach to fat removal was VERY meticulous and thorough. I’ve had several procedures performed by Dr. Erella. One liposuction, two other major body lift procedures, and a couple of minor nip/tuck office procedures. I cannot put into words just how happy I am with the results. Dr. Erella really knows what he’s doing! The scars from my surgery are extremely minor. I think that is because of his stitch work based on what I heard from other people in the hospitals. From the procedures I had over 10 pounds of skin removed. So you would expect a lot of scarring. Which I have not experience. Mostly because of how well he does his stitches. He has great bedside manner. He seems a little shy whenever you first meet him but once everyone is comfortable his friendly and funny personality really seems to come out. And he makes me laugh constantly. I had liposuction done with Dr. Erella in March 2018, and overall, it was a highly positive experience, and I'd recommend Dr. Erella to anyone seeking a similar procedure... for several reasons: PRE-SURGERY: Dr. Erella is clear and direct. He doesn't sell you on anything. He explains what you can expect, and more importantly, what the limitations are. At no point do you have any illusions of a some life changing surgery. He's upfront, and that let's you know you're working with a professional. SURGERY: For me, it was straightforward and mostly pain free process. There's some pain, no matter the surgery, and everyone handles that pain different (as he explained to me).That was very much the case. You're awake during the procedure (local anesthesia), so I was aware of what was going on the entire time and all throughout, Dr. Erella routinely checked in with me to ensure everything was going smoothly.
