Dr. Vasanthi Krishna

I saw this lady 3 years ago. She saw me in office for 5 min. and doesn't listeneed to you. She said I wasn't having seizures & that I needed to see a psychiatrist. Lol, wow, I should sue her now for misdiagnosing me & sending me on my way to a psychiatrist I never went to. I found another Neurologist who is awesome & diagnosed me with epilepsy for gran mal & focal seizures I'd been having off & on. Dr. Vacanti never even suggested that I record my seizures at home. Run!!

I didn't have the best experience with Dr. Krishna. I suffer from monthly migraines for a duration of about a week. I saw Dr. Krishna for a total of 4 times and never found a solution for my migraines. Whenever I suggested what I thought would work, she always shot down my ideas. On my final appointment, she told me I should be thankful I don't have chronic migraines and a week long migraine once a month is not a big deal. Sorry, but quality of life is important to me and that's no way to live!

Dr Krishna was the first doctor I've had that took the time to listen to *all* of my symptoms, quickly ordering tests to evaluate her suspected diagnosis. While tests were being scheduled, she provided medications & suggestions for behavior changes to alleviate my symptoms, both of which provided some relief. After 10 years of questions, I now am starting to get answers and solutions. There is no cure for my diagnosis, but I feel confident in my choice of physician for ongoing care & treatment.

Politely listened to my symptoms but didn't seem very concerned or interested in testing, treating, or doing much of anything for me besides prescribing a week's worth of sleep medication... Insisted there's nothing wrong with me; I was just depressed (no) and instructed me to become a contributing member of society or volunteer with sick children or elderly and maybe I'll feel better. Very disappointed after waiting almost 2 months for my appointment. Waste of time.

My mother has Alzheimer's, and I brought her to this doctor because her regular doctor, who was wonderful, left the practice. I was very, very disappointed with Dr. Krishna. She talks but doesn't listen. At all. She doesn't respond to family questions or concerns. At all. I would never bring my mother back to this doctor.
