Reviews for Dr. Vadim Yuri Baram
Dr. Barum is always professional and caring. He understands my situation and is always understanding.
In all my past terrible experiences, I never found that sense of FEELING & BEING [ COMFORTABLE ] ; a definite "MUST". Until, I met with Dr. Baram. Right from the start, Dr. Baram made me feel important, never judging, patient, and actively listens, discusses any concerns, and takes positive approaches in steps going forward. He genuinely cares for his patients. His staff is respectful, always pleasant, and eager to be of assistance!

I was very discouraged after seeing a Psychiatrist that had no investment at all in my well-being. I am so happy that I found Anna Tran and the staff at Dr. Baram's office. I was not in a good place when I first starting seeing Anna and nearly a year later, I have made so much progress and I owe so much of it to the care that I've received from these wonderful people. I was going there for a few month, and I did find it that they were helping me. But one day I don’t know why they said what they said. They were asking about someone else opinion on how I was doing. And completely shot it down and then started to said that all guys don’t know what they are saying.I don’t know if they have a problem with guys or what saying anything. If they want someone options they should at least listen. It was very unprofessional and it looks like they judge you. I trying to get help not be judged.. Also it’s just the people they are dealing with how they are feeling of what working and not working. If the person added anything else they can added in there file. They have no right to be a therapist. They are only to help you with medication. I would not recommend them if they are going that. I would highly recommend that they reevaluate there staff and they need a course on how to be better at there job.. I was going there for a few month, and I did find it that they were helping me. Dr. Baram is the best psychiatrist I have ever seen.
Dr. Baram has been my Psychiatrist for many years. We have developed an open repore, he has always listened to my thoughts, and opinions of the medications prescribed to me, and we have come up with a medication combination that works for me.
I have been a patient of Dr Vadim Baram for 12 or 13 years and have done very good due to his Pinpointing some key points and meds to ease my symptoms and make life worth living. When I've missed appointment I suffer. He is wise and Very nice to all and Very professional in all his practice... Definitely A 5 Stars Review for me as Mr Baram saved my life 2 times and it was when I had no one to help and also I know he deserves awards but if you tell him this he would be modest and tell you thats not why he does this Science. Nothing but good for good ok Vadim Baram!!!
I am nearly 60 years old; I work in the medical field. Because I heard Dr. Baram was one of the best psychiatrist in MO, I turned to him when I had a problem. He diagnosed me correctly and It immediately improved my life. I’m extremely surprised that it took this long for someone to diagnose me correctly and when I was finally diagnosed correctly- it was on my first visit with him. Very impressive man and physician. I only wish I had turned to him years ago but hind sight is 20/20. ;)
We are so grateful to Dr Baram who took care of our mother at St Mary’s Hospital. He was present and accessible throughout every aspect of her care. When we needed him, he responded within minutes and always took the time to fully understand and address our concerns. Most importantly, our mother got better and was able to be discharged to an assisted living facility arranged by the social work team at St Mary’s. Dr Baram and his staff greatly exceeded our expectations.
Dr. Baram is wonderful at his profession. I am blessed that I was able to meet him and become a patient earlier in his career as his calendar has become full and I'm sure he is very limited in his ability to accept new patients. He is extremely compassionate, has a terrific memory, asks the right questions, listens, and treats me as a friend. I have also worked with his support staff who all seem to hold the same values and attention to patient care as Dr. Baram himself. Thank you Dr. Baram for helping me navigate my life.
Dr. Baram is a wonderful psychiatrist. He has an amazing staff who were very kind to me. I saw him and his NP, who was very sweet and nice. He was very patient with me and understood my issues and my needs. He prescribed my medications and gave me hope and support. I feel so much better now and I am grateful for him and his staff.
Office staff is very rude and uncaring and unprofessional. I waited 2 hours and never seen him. I asked for a refund on my co-pay and they said they couldn’t because I paid with a credit card. I will NEVER go back!
They asked me to fill out the Dr. part of the FMLA paperwork, then messed up faxing it in. When I called, they said they were waiting for someone to come in and fill it out. FMLA is due within 2 weeks of the absence. They hadn't sent it in after 3 weeks.
I have been to many doctors throughout my life. This Dr. Is much more then that, he is someone who actually cares about his patients. It still amazes me how far I have come due to hard work and also having the team that I have behind me. I saw several specialist but none of them were helpful. In fact, they made me feel as if I were losing my mind. What I learned through this ordeal is that most doctors lack people skills, they don’t know how to listen, they can be extremely judgmental and are rude without knowing it. I was exhausted and on the verge of giving up on life before I first met Dr. Baram. Dr. Baram was an absolute breath of fresh air. If not for him- I would have given up on finding the underlining cause to my problems- which was CANCER. To say he saved my life, is putting it mildly. He is one of the greatest men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you Dr. Baram. I will forever be in your debt.
Dr.Baram provided excellent care. Brilliant doctor. Fantastic service. Recommended to all people suffering from mental problems.
I don't know where I would be without Dr. Baram he is amazing and helped me see that I was worth recovery
I have been to multiple psychiatrists in my time and was recommended to Dr. Vadim Baram by a Pain Management Dr. Dr. Baram is the best Psychiatrist I have ever been to. He skillfully engages with his patients starting from the 1st visit & encounter. He is an active listener, has compassion & empathy toward his patients & is completely nonjudgmental. Most Psychiatrists I have been to quickly write an Rx and send you on your way. Dr. Baram is an effective communicator when in need of advice and guidance. He also consistently checks up on your prescribed medications to ensure they are working & is willing to change scripts when needed so that you receive the best care possible. He educates you on the Rx's he prescribes along with any side effects you may have. I will never change Psychiatrists & am so happy with him as my Doctor. I couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable, kind, compassionate & caring Doctor. I would recommend him to anyone. ????????????????
This office stays canceling appointments! 3 times in six months. That’s half my appointments. The dr’s are good, but the staff is unfriendly, inpatient, and lacking empathy.
Every time I go into see my doctor I sit around waiting for OVER AN HOUR. The receptionist brushed it off like it’s no big deal. DO NOT go to this doctors office and save yourself some time. Would give less than one star if possible.
Looking into being a new patient. I spoke with Jared I believe and he was great! Very helpful! Thank you Jared ????
I love Dr.Baram, he's a short spicy man. He has helped me through a dark time in my life when I couldn't see the light at the end of thr tunnel he gave me hope. I can joke and be myself around him but trust and believe he sees right through that smile and see the hurt in you. He has an awesome relationship with his patient's. Excelent service. Very friendly font desk people. Warm atmosphere. One of the best experience with the mental professionals, I ever had.
I have never met a doctor that was more uninviting in all my life. Barely asked me any questions but was quick to prescribe medications. Not at all what I needed
I didn’t even get a chance to meet with Dr. Baram. For my initial visit, I sat for an hour past my appointment time in the waiting room after paying my co-pay waiting to be seen. At the hour mark, I gathered my things, got a refund, and left. My time may not be important to this office, but it is to me. If I set an appointment at a certain time, I expect to be seen somewhere around that time. This is pretty basic common courtesy. I didn’t even get a chance to meet with Dr. Baram. Receptionist attitude is not professional, has no patience. I will never recommend anyone here.
I have been seeing Dr. Baram for years! He is very professional, caring, kind, intelligent, and patient (no pun intended!). He is definitely a top notch Psychiatrist. His office staff are amazing-they always remember me and have been very nice when I have had the occasion to call.
My first visit, with Dr. Baram, he spent almost an hour reviewing my medications and history. I really was in a bad place and he helped give me hope. He said if I had any issues, to just come to the office and they would try to squeeze me an appoint in for me. Of course, with this type of specialty, some cases may require additional attention and the wait time may be almost an hour. However, he seems to truly care about his patients. If you use google maps to try and find the office... it will let you to a different looking building. I've attached an updated view of what the building should look like - it's right next to the AMC theatre in Creve Coeur. Office staff were rude and unprofessional. I was even cursed at over the phone by one of the "receptionists". Office manager I suspect is just as equally unprofessional since there seems to be little control over the front office staff. Disgusting.

There tends to be a wait but Dr. Baram is well worth it!
I've been trying to see him, and he has cancelled three appointments in a row. I tried to get a Dr. note for a career based job. His office workers told me, he wont give me the note because he hasn't seen me in almost a year. Well it was the Dr. fault that I haven't seen him. He is destroying my chances at getting a job where I can get off of Social Security.
