Dr. V. Bala Subramanian

I saw Dr. Subramanian today for a consult regarding a fairly large cyst on my left kidney. The cyst was discovered during an MRI of my spine and has not caused any problems. My neurologist and PCP were unwilling to say that the cyst is nothing to worry about. So I went to see Dr. S and he told me it's nothing to worry about. He was very thorough; he examined my MRI and reviewed recent blood work before meeting with me. He didn't rush the appointment and gave me time to ask questions. I liked him a lot. The only negative is that I had to wait several weeks for an appointment, but that was no problem in my case, since I wasn't worried about the cyst.

I had an opportunity to get consultation from Doctor Bala Subramanian for my father. Doctor Bala was very patient and offered genuine care. He took time and explained all the test results in detail. I highly recommend him not only for his genuine care but also for his ability to diagnose the problem. That is the key for a best doctor. In addition all of his staff, specially Ana Fuentes was very prompt and organized. Thank you all.

Would never get on a phone, always from staff, “You have to come in”. Am multiply disabled. Not so easy for a 20 sec. question. Good Dr.

Dr Bala was recommended by our PCP. It was the worst experience a patient could have. He took very little interest in trying to get to the core of the problem. He showed an apathy to patient treatment. Not to mention that he prescribed strong medication and a long wait for follow up. He seemed to be in a rush to get the patient to dylasis instead of exploring options of avoiding. Since then thankfully we have moved to another doctor. Very dissapointed!

This doctor has a gentle manner, deep expertise, and a caring soul. I wish I could go to him for everything.
