Would it recommend this doctor at all. As a trauma unit medical director, he is a complete failure.

My 85-yr old mother had a massive homorrhage from her colon. Dr Vu was the surgeon on call. He was amazing. She would not accept a blood transfusion, so he honored her wishes and proceeded with her treatment. There was no time to locate the precise point of bleeding, as her BP dropped to 60/40, so she had to be taken to surgery immediately. He completed the surgery quickly and with minimal blood loss. He has visited her every day since the surgery, spends as much time as needed to answer questions, and acts as though he has nowhere else to be but at her bedside. We feel extremely blessed that he was the surgeon on call that night!!

Had emergency gallbladder removal surgery at Piedmont. He was the surgeon who was on call -- could not have been better.
