Very detail oriented Doctor. He thinks outside the box. He has treated me for alergy symptoms and hives and resolved all my issues. Highly recommended.

Dr. Ringwald was great! Took my son here to be tested for a food allergy as well as outdoor allergies. The staff was fabulous. Dr. Ringwald was funny and very caring. I was referred to Dr. Ringwald by my family doctor. Best referral I've ever had. Dr. Ringwald was very personal and took the time to talk and go over all the symptoms I've been having. He was extremely professional. I've been experiencing multiple hives over most of my body including sinus issues. He ordered up a complete body and skin examine and found more than 5 things that I am allergic to. I was also given breathing treatments for my asthma that helped a lot. I was in Dr. Ringwald's office for 2 1/2 hours with extensive exams. This guy is the best and I would recommend him to anyone that needs a great allergy and asthma doctor. The most unprofessional doctor I have ever been to. The doctor doesn’t wear his mask, even though he works right next to the hospital er. Could overhear every single patient which is a violation of HIPPA. Overheard the doctor writing a fake reason for a patient to not get a vaccine. I tried telling the doctor my symptoms, spoke over me anytime i tried to speak. Then proceeded to mansplain me photos out of a textbook of what hives are… this has nothing to do with my lips being numb from an allergic reaction. I fell very ill a few years ago and spent 17 days in the hospital, and when 1 allergist failed and made grave mistakes, they brought in Dr. Ringwald to save face. At first I thought he was a good doctor, but that was all a facade and he didn't take me nor my life threatening illness seriously. This man even had the audacity to say "I have to figure out if it's in her head or in her throat"--EXCUSE ME? During another hospitalization at a different facility, the Hospitalist said she reviewed my chart and wanted to bring in a different allergist, or she could call Dr. Ringwald, but the decision was up to me. Thank god I chose to go with a different allergist, who told me that Dr. Ringwald was not treating my condition appropriately and immediately put me on the medication regime Dr. Ringwald should have put me on had he taken me seriously. That allergist has saved my life multiple times, and I still see him along with an allergist at U of M and that led to my diagnosis of a rare, life threatening disease called HAE type III aka hereditary, non-histaminergic angioedema with normal C1 inhibitor. Had I continued with Dr. Ringwald, a proper diagnosis would have never been made and I probably would've died as a result. The fact that I canceled a visit and never returned again, and no one from his staff or him contacted me to reschedule that visit speaks volumes. Avoid this allergist at all costs. Dr. Ringwald is the BEST doctor that I've ever been to! He's been my Dr. since I was in junior high, many years ago. He always listened to me and figured out the best course of action to treat every different health issue that I've encountered. I've moved to Florida and wished I could've taken him with me. I'm still trying to find an allergist that could be 1/2 as good as Dr. Ringwald, for my children and myself, down here.???? If you have the opportunity to choose him as a Dr., do not hesitate. I was referred by my PCP for allergy testing. My reaction to something was so strong that it started to close my throat and we wanted to find out the cause. Due to Covid-19, I was unable to get an appointment (office was closed) with Dr. RIngwald until over a month later. By this time, I was no longer showing symptoms, so he told me I did not need testing. We sat in a small exam room where he pulled his mask down to talk to me. He gave me Xyzal and a script for migraine medication and performed 0 tests. An ENT was able to identify an allergy after one visit. Do not waste your time here. He seems to be good at what he does if he listens long enough to decide you should be serviced. Oh, also when I told him about a medication I may have reacted to, he asked how I was able to get it without insurance (I have insurance) which seemed like a weird question after I'd shown my insurance information to the front desk staff. tldr; don't waste your time here I was referred by my PCP for allergy testing. Dr. Ulrich Ringwald is an extremely unprofessional Dr. I overheard him speaking to a patient about how he wasn't a guinea pig and that the "Covid Storyline" we are all being fed is garbage. Stating that "if he gets sick" he has some pills he bought from California for $200 that will fix everything if you take 4 of them everyday. He was very passionate about his position and quite a bully in trying to convince this woman of his standing / beliefs. He wore a mask UNDER HIS CHIN when he spoke to everyone in the office. He would even request the patients and staff to remove their masks when he spoke with them. Ordering me to "Show my face" as soon as he started my visit. He did not practice any of the Covid-19 restrictions that are plastered all over the office. I am assuming those are only there for legal reasons. And used as a reminder of how we can possible beat this pandemic. Everyone other than Dr. Ringwald handled themselves professionally.

August 17, 2020 I have to write a review on Dr. Ringwald, as he is THE BEST DR. I have ever known. I started seeing Dr. Ringwald twenty years ago then moved out of state for 10 years. I am now back to my home town of Rochester ,Mi. I was not feeling well and thought that Dr. Ringwald had retired and needed help with my sinus problems. I was referred to a ENT specialist and went and was so disappointed I could have cried. One of my friends said go see Dr.Ringwald !!!! I said, I think that he has retired and they said NO he has not. Well I got on the phone and his son,Mike, remembered me and went and found my file. I cannot tell you how excited I was he was still open. I went and was so pleased to see him. Dr.Ringwald is just the BEST Dr. for allergy and asthma in the entire state of Michigan. He saw me and ran tests for allergies and asthma and we went from there. As of today (8/17/20) I am feeling on top of my world. I would highly recommend Dr. Ringwald to ANYONE who needs help with their allergies or asthma. Thank you Dr. Ringwald for still being here and available for all of us. I went to that ENT specialist and he could NOT hold a candle to Dr.Ringwald. YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST DOC !!!!!! Stay healthy and stay with all of us for a long time. His staff is so kind and compassionate and knowledgeable. They are there for you and its so refreshing to back with all of them. 100 thumbs up for Doc and his entire office. Lynda Toussaint :)

If you need someone to listen to your symptoms this is the last place you want to go. I came to him for an issue with my immune system. I average ten colds a year. My regular doctor referred us to Dr. Ringwald. He would ask a question and when you go to answer he would cut you off and ramble out several more questions. He never once listened for an answer. I came for several trips and extensive allergy testing. Rather than looking for an immune system issue he told me I have allergies and told me to take Zyrtec everyday. I took Zyrtec as directed for a year and still suffered a cold every month. He told me if I got sick to come to him for evaluation. I came for one visit when i was sick he told me it had a cold and to see my regular doctor. A month later I was sick again, made an appointment and when I showed up. While waiting they told me Dr. Ringwald would not see me again, that I was sick and to go back to my regular doctor again. Treating allergies was not the cure and he didn’t want to face his mistake. I have been going to Dr. Ringwald for years. They, Dr Ringwald and his employees, have been nothing short of fantastic. They are kind, fun and easy to talk to, and truly make you feel important where you are there. I get my allergy shots there and they are very Quick. I barely have a chance to sit down and they are calling me back to get me taken care of. Very professional and they are one of my most favorite doctors I have ever been with. They are definitely worth a visit.
