Dr Schwertfeger was wonderful. He did a very thorough exam, was personable and caring. He took time to answer any and all questions we might have had. Grateful that we were referred to Dr Schwertfeger.

I feel fortunate to have Dr. Schwertfeger as one of my doctors. He is a great listener, empathetic and wants to help.

Very kind, caring, thorough doctor. I was really happy to finally get an accurate diagnosis. I'd spent years going from doctor, to doctor. Highly recommend him to all my family and friends

If I could give this doctor no stars I would. Being treated for tremors with no testing done. Developed more problems. His answer was to take antidepressants so he could diagnose what was going on but yet has not mentioned any testing. Its like pulling eye teeth to get back in. GOD FORBID if you had a serve problem because you would have to wait 6 months to get back in. Ridiculous!

Very poor service. Doctor told my wife she was an "enigma". Wanted to refer her out to the Mayo clinic without running any of his own test first. Took her to the emergency room they put her in siezure medicine. And now this guy's out of town and won't answer any questions and the medicine is making her sick, yet if she stops taking it, it can induce more seizures and make it worse. Doctor is a joke. My opinion is that he is a very good Dr.

Excellent chair side manner, very knowledgeable.

My husband has been seeing Dr Schwertfeger for almost 20 years for a rare neurological problem. He listens and takes the proper steps to help us. His staff is always helpful, too. We would highly recommend him.

Patient's condition worsened after very short visit with this Dr. He made very few remarks in the file which was revealed by another doctor who asked that this doctor personally see the patient ASAP but this Dr would not move up the appointment or commit to being there instead of his P.A. This guy is getting rich off ten min appointments at a time where little is gained. There's nothing special here, go elsewhere for better treatment.

I'm confused about other people's responses about Dr Schwertfeger. My family and I really liked him. He was caring, compassionate, very patient with my dad, and explained everything very well. We never felt rushed and he answered all our questions. He did say that when my dad came back in 6 months, he'd see the nurse practitioner, which I'm glad he explained that, we have no problem with that. I would say he is excellent and I would highly recommend him!
