She's horrible! She doesn't even believe in methadone. She became the medical director at comp drug a couple of years ago and the program is now fear based. I won't see her without my counselor and know many patients who feel the same way. She's the ultimate authority at comp drug now. I was detoxed while in my first trimester just getting out of the hospital because of septicaemia. No one at the clinic likes her she talks down to addicts and is only interested in the almighty dollar. Think twice about going to comp drug. You will end up addicted to methadone and having to jump through any hoop she requires. There isn't even a handbook because she changes the rules reguarly. I have been seeing her for five years. She really cares about you and what you need. She is so nice and warm and welcoming.

Dr. Patel is one of the most knowledgeable Dr's in her field. She is very honest and helpful. Would highly recommend her for addiction therapy.

She is very condescending and thinks all addicts are the same. Since she doesn't take insurance she is not really dealing with the general public. I have dealt with her one on one and was not treated as an individual. I was told that other people are my drug downfall even though I have been clean since I met her and attend Comp Drug where she works every day.

I read the reviews on Dr. Patel before my visit today and was a bit worried because of how she was portrayed. After my visit today, I feel compelled to write a very different review. I was EXTREMELY satisfied. I left feeling optimistic about my life...for the first time in a very long time. I didn't at any time feel judgment from her. She was very thorough with me and knowledgeable. The therapist, Mike called me back personally always the same day and was so kind to me. Nothing negative to say
