There are other doctors in the valley who treat foot and ankle problems. But Dr. TRAVIS Kemp should be your first choice if you are having those kind of problems. He is an orthopedic surgeon. He and his staff gave me gold standard service. He was on time, thorough and not condescending in any way because of my age or sex. He listened closely to me explain my issue, then used x-rays to show me and give me straight, understandable answers and options for treatment. He did not try to push surgery. He is patient oriented. Never once did I feel pressured or rushed. No need to shop around. Dr. TRAVIS Kemp is the one.

Very fast and professional, Dr kemp found the issue with my ankle and we are going to try some options to surgery.

I have the use of both feet today because of Dr. Kemp. I first visited Dr. Kemp in 2011 and was so impressed with him and his professional care and manners I continued going to him. He has saved each of my feet. The first time when I had gangrene in my foot and needed immediate treatment, he was concerned that I would lose my foot, and rightly so. He stuck with me however until my foot was healed. A year ago I broke my other foot in such a way the threat of losing this foot was also very real. Dr. Kemp was able to secure and strengthen my foot and ankle with an exterior brace, similar to a halo brace, which allowed me to be able to put some weight on my foot so I had limited mobility. It was a long healing process but today eleven months later I can walk. Not only is he knowledgeable about his treatments but is also very personable and caring. Oh, that all doctors were like Dr. Kemp. Thank you, Dr. Kemp. I might add that his staff is just as caring and thoughtful as he is.

Want to thank Dr Kemp and his staff for their excellent services! Dr Kemp gave my husband back a much improved quality of life! My husband crushed both of his ankles in a motorcycle accident 30 years ago. The arthritis in his ankles was so painful that he suffered every day while going about his daily routine. Over this last year Dr Kemp performed total ankle replacement on both of his ankles. He is now able to enjoy life again both at work and at play!! Thank you so much Dr Kemp!!

This was the worst experiences I have ever had with a medical facility. Everything was going great until I had a death in my family and had to reschedule a surgery. I made the comment that his assistant was difficult to understand sometimes and an assistant chose to write their own statement in my file. it is still unclear what she wrote but the Doctor asked that I find another physician based on the comments she wrote. I made several calls to resolve this matter but in the end i was referred elsewhere.

When I hurt my foot I was sent to Dr Kemp he was extremely helpful it explained to me in detail of my foot even though it was worse than we thought it was Dr Kemp and his medical staff from from the ladies behind the scene to the lady who scheduled my surgery thank you like you guys know I lost my mom whenever I was 15 and I was scared s******* never had surgery before and it was my first one I was scared I know ignored you guys calling you and asking you is this supposed to happen is this supposed to hurt is my foot and is my leg is supposed to look like this and you guys said yes my butt supposed to hurt this bad you guys explain to me I just had major surgery I didn't realize how bad the surgery was I'd ask Dr Kim he told me it was bad and a very last appointment that I had with Dr Kim I had asked him a question why is it only showing one anchor well that's when he told me it was bad he didn't put two in like we discussed he put in four 7 weeks I'm all good and no physical therapy

Dr Kemp's care is the best I have ever experienced. His staff is always efficient and personable. I would highly recommend Dr. Kemp.

Dr Kemp recently performed a very extensive foot and ankle reconstruction on my severely injured left leg. I am now 6 weeks into recovery and doing very well! His staff is very professional and I really liked Treasure Valley Hospital where he operates...I cannot recommend him more highly!

This doctor was absolutely amazing at explaining what was wrong, what needed to be done and what the recovery time was anticipated to be. Dr. Kemp is an excellent doctor and his staff are just as good at their jobs. All around outstanding office.

Dr. Kemp did an excellent job, all the way from the first exam appointment to the completion of the surgery, no complaints. If needed, I would through Dr. Kemp again, and would certainly recommend him to others. Also, I would recommend Treasure Valley Hospital.

My options were clearly explained to me and my choice was respected. My surgery and recovery has gone wonderfuly. Dr. Kemp was very knowledgable about my condition. I would highly recommend Dr. Kemp.

Dr Kemp and his team were awesome. I broke a bone in my foot and DOC had me cared for within an hour. New patient setup, PA review, x-rays, Dr. Kemp consulting and splint on foot all within an hour. Very professional and caring. Would recommend Dr. Kemp and his team to anyone.

First off when appointment was scheduled we were told Boise, just to get there on time and then was told it was in Meridian. Dr. Kemp... He was so condescending, treated us like we were not worthy of his time! When I talked to the very unprofessional office manager she acted like there was nothing she could do. SHAME! We can’t trust if he gave us the right information and now will need to get a second opinion. Will not recommend to anyone. His PA was nice, horrible Kemp should learn from him.

Today I had my first appointment with Dr. Kemp & and his PA, Rich. Starting with the registration staff, everyone was exceptionally friendly and professional. Dr. Kemp and Rich took their time and explained everything patiently and thoroughly. They encouraged a conservative approach to my problem. When I inquired about surgical intervention (vs. more conservative management), they were candid about the risks and benefits of surgery. I felt well informed. I had a very positive experience!

He was ok but definitely will not go back and wouldn't recommend him to anyone else. He seemed to not really take time to investigate where my pain was coming from and just told me that I'll probably be fine and to go home. I had to ask for an x ray just to be sure in my brain. Wished I would've gone to someone else who would've spent more time with me and would've explained what was hurting.

Dr. Kemp relied on his PA for our visit. We thought we were seeing Dr. Kemp.The PA reviewed the X-rays with Dr. Kemp in front of us but Dr.did not even introduce himself so we were wondering who that guy was.We had to ask the PA if that was Kemp. It was a very strange and awkward encounter because I sense that the PA is the personality behind the team. Just meet & greet with a smile Dr. Kemp so it is not awkward for your PA to be put in the position of explaining your presence. 5 stars for PA!

I would totally recommend Dr.Kemp. after a sad fall I had often a pilon fracture. He is very nice but strait foward with what's going to happen. I like that he is blunt about that there is going to be surgeries later on because I know what's got be expected. After transfering down to Texas Orthopeedics, they kept saying how much you did a grate job. The first time meeting Dr.Kemp took over 45 minutes, but after that he was easey to get in and get out.

I had two appointments, an x-ray and MRI, was scheduled for surgery and never met the doctor. I asked the PA when I would meet the surgeon and the response was when he was signing off on my leg in surgery. My insurance wasn't billed to meet with a PA and never the doctor. In fact, quite the opposite occurred - I was billed as meeting with Dr. Kemp. Perhaps highly recommended, but medicine should not be a factory and that's the kind of clinic he's running.

Very knowledgeable and takes the time to address any concerns

Dr Kemp was highly recommended to me for my Ankle problems. Dr Kemp is very personable and took time to explain why I was having pain and problems and how surgery would take care of it. Dr Kemp personally called me after my MRI and explained my scan and the process of the Surgery.
