Ms. Tracy Lyn Johnston

This review is based on our personal experience and personal opinion of Dr Johnston. Our case was settled before going before a judge so this review is not biased based on outcomes in court. We are a devout Christian and conservative family. My husband requested a social investigation as part of a modification of custody agreement seeking more time with his adopted daughter from a previous marriage. The other party only agreed to the investigation if my husband fronted the cost. We paid $5000 to start the investigation that we were told would take 6-8 weeks. At the end of the investigation we were asked to pay an additional $2500 because we were told that the amount of evidence would take extra time. Over 400 pages of evidence was sent including multiple DCF reports and Police reports. The investigation took an ENTIRE YEAR! We were told multiple times that she was on vacation. To our utter shock none of our evidence —mattered—. Not only did the report not recommend the child have more time with the father, it actually recommended to reverse the current agreed temporary timeshare by both parties and to reverse it back to the original agreement. Based on the report’s lack of including critical evidence, report’s lack of including multiple witnesses’ full statements, previous reviews, and more, it is our personal opinion that there is high possibility of gender bias against fathers and evangelical Christians. Praise God that because of the year long investigation, we were able to obtain concrete irrefutable evidence 2 months later of the opposing party allowing the child to timeshare with her biological father (after about 9+ years of no contact) overnights and during holidays that were supposed to be my husband’s timeshare without his consent or knowledge. When we had suspicions of this we contacted this investigator and nothing was done to our knowledge. After finding the concrete proof we were able to come to a settlement that more than tripled what Dr. Johnston proposed. Fortunately, both parties have been able to begin co parenting effectively with the new agreement and doing great! We do not recommend Dr. Johnston for any services. Thankfully her judgement did not factor into our case but the Ultimate Judge heard our evidence and our —family matters— to Him. One day we will all be Judged and I personally believe that any biased or untruthful reports that unfairly hurt families will not escape His righteous judgment. The treasures of this world will pass away (Mercedes, Brahmin handbags, and waterfront homes)… “what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?” “ Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, But afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel.” “ Unequal weights are an abomination to the LORD, and false scales are not good.” “ A false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will not go free.” We hope this investigator will acknowledge this grave mistake and issue a full refund but that would shock us more than the report did.

Agree with other reviewers. She was very rude, cut me off and ignored evidence and facts. Courts should not be using her, she is no good for families and does not act in best interest of kids. Look at other review sites and you will find more reviews stating the same. Stay away!

She is horrible! This "Dr" was court ordered in a social service investigation to get 50/50 timeshare. Even though both parents are good people, mom does not want to share the kids. This "Dr" justified moms false abuse allegations (proven false in front of judge), said it was ok for mom to withhold kids in violation of divorce order and faulted a father for wanting 50/50 by writing dad overvalues role in kids life and stating men do not get 50/50 since men cannot handle it. During interviews she cut off me and my witnesses, ignored evidence and when PI testified and had video of mom is aggressive towards the father she faulted father for having PI at kid exchanges. She charged top dollar for her so called report. Bottom line, this woman is ether horrible at her job r on the take with some attorney's. She needs to be removed from therapy and should in no way be providing family therapy, if there is a way to sue I would.

Despite the alphabet behind her name, Ms. Johnston is clueless. If your lawyer recommended her, find a new lawyer. She should not be practicing.

Tracy Johnston was my therapist for several years during the 1990's. Yes, I've had a lot of help over the years, much needed and Very Greatly Appreciated. Despite the Tin Foil Hat I have come a long way over the years. I just wanted to say a big thank you to Tracy.

She is helping my brother and his ex wife which has been a challenge for over a decade since the ex is not very cooperative, so far it is helping a bit, but that is on the EX not Tracy... ;)
