Dr. Todd E Rutland

Rutland was great! However, the staff would not return phone calls nor could they ever manage to put the prescription through correctly. I had been on a monthly preventative prescription for years (previous Neurologist that retired). But, they never could get it approved for some reason. I talked to my insurance provider and they said it was not put through correctly Rutland’s staff. As a result of their lack of follow through, I went without my monthly prescription for over a year. I ended up switching Neurologist…. Now back on Aimoviq again and not suffering anymore.

This clinic is a joke. They NEVER answer their phone and when they do they promise to call you back. I’ve been waiting 2 weeks now for them to call me back. Don’t waste your time with them!

I’ve been going to Dr Rutland for a few years now. Prior to seeing him, I had been to several different specialists and none of them could figure out what was wrong with me. Dr Rutland is knowledgeable, professional, respectful, and very kind. There is none better and I highly recommend him.

If you want to be ignored or treated like trash than go ahead and try your best to make an appointment if you can.

Nice helpful staff..Dr. Rutland always listens to my concerns. He never just rushes in and out, he is patient and kind. He includes me in my treatment plan and makes sure I fully understand each option I have.

I have been seeing Dr. Rutland for about five years for treatment of debilitating chronic migraines and Dr. Rutland has helped me cut them down by more than half. Anytime I have questions about trying a new or different medication or treatment course, Dr. Rutland takes the time to discuss the pros and cons and allows me to make a decision on the course of action. I have never felt rushed nor have I left with questions unanswered. I have always found him and his staff to be very accommodating and helpful. I could not ask for a better experience; they always treat me like an individual rather than just a patient.

If I could give him zero stars I would.

Worst place ever and it’s all thanks to the nurse and front desk! They are rude and won’t listen pretty sad because they are loosing business because of it and it’s not because of the doctor. They never call you to tell you you have an appointment or that you missed one that I didn’t know I had or schedule. I Spoke to a lady months ago who told me she’d update my referral and because of covid she said she’d put a refill in and I didn’t have to be seen at the moment now when I call mind you I had to call twice and leave two voicemails explaining I needed to get a refill or schedule an appointment they finally call back some girl being very very rude explained that I missed my appointment which they never told me about and that my referral expired and they would not put a refill in for me They don’t care about their patients Having epilepsy and not being able to get your medicine refilled (that stop seizures) because your doctors office messed up is pretty sad. I was referred through Tricare to Dr. Rutland. I’ve been seen twice already. I lost my appointment card. I called the office several times & no one picked the telephone up. I left a voicemail and finally got a call back. I wanted to verify my next appt date & time. The lady said your appt was on the 11th. I said I never received an appt reminder or confirmation call. She said we don’t do that anymore. I said when did that change because you all just did this for my last appt. She said we had to lay the other girl off & we just don’t have time to call people. So I missed my appt, no follow-up calls, letter in the mail, or anything. It seems they laid the wrong person off because the lady who called me back had zero customer service skills & she was rude. This is a business Tricare trusts to use for their patients. She never asked if I want to reschedule my appointment or anything. Staff was very friendly. Clean office. Had me in and out in less than an hour ever with the tests i had done.

He is the most professional doctor i have since Iigrte to the USA some 8 years ago. Even though I am going through pain.. he made my life a little easier.

Dr. Rutland has been my neurologist for 10+ years now. I have never had a bad experience with him or his office. I felt at ease with him as my Doctor since day 1. It is very important to be able to trust and feel comfortable with your doctor. I would recommend him to anyone looking for or needing a Neurologist.

Dr Rutland has been good to me. I have struggled with epilepsy all my life but as I got older my seizures got worse. He was able to get me on a medication mix that has worked very well. It's been three years with no seizures. Only problem I have had with their office is when I call them to update my refills sometimes they call in the wrong dosage and I have to get them to fix it. Military spouse visiting this clinic for migraine relief. Dr. Rutland is very knowledgeable and will thoroughly educate you if you ask questions. The front office ladies are very kind.

I read the other reviews before my appointment and, honestly, I was not expecting a good experience. I'm a military spouse and this was where I was referred. I arrived early and I only waited about 10 minutes before I was called back. The office staff was courteous and friendly. The technician was conversational and put me at ease during the procedure. Extremely disappointed. Did not take any effort trying to actually find out if there was anything wrong. Basically informed me I had depression and I was making it all up for attention. After finding another neurologist I found out that I actually suffer from several neurologic issues as a result of a dysfunction in my autonomic nervous system that require medication and treatment. Great Dr. takes good care of patients.

I'm a military spouse and I had no problems on my visit. He was nice, thorough, yet quick. I went because my PCM was "concerned" about my insomnia medication refill. He didn't understand why she had wasted my time, and after an examination, refilled it and sent me on my way.

I have been seeing Neurologists for over 20 years. I have had passing out episodes for 23y and recently recurring stroke symptoms. After talking to me for 5 minutes he told me I had clinical depression and basically all of my symptoms were in my head...I was creating these issues for attention. After finding another Neurologist I found out I actually have three rather serious issues that require medication and I am not "depressed" or "crazy" He is completely incompetent. Had a good experience with this clinic. They were professional and caring, and despite the study being painful, were willing to help me to the best of their ability.

I had nerve damage in my leg resulting in drop foot. I asked if I could take therapy. He said it would be a waste of time and money. I went to my GP and he got me in PT and I no longer have an issue with my foot.
