I had always wanted to get lip injections but was worried I would be left with an unpleasant result. I looked at countless of photos online and, for the most part, everything looked unnatural and unappealing. I came across photos of Dr. Hanna’s work and was extremely impressed. I finally decided to book the appointment and I’m so glad I did. My result is amazing. Fuller lips without looking overly done or unnatural. He really has an incredible eye for detail and knows exactly how and where to place filler to avoid the dreaded “duck” look. You can tell Dr. Hanna is extremely knowledgable and has a true skill. If you are looking for the most natural result, you will not regret booking an appointment with Dr. Hanna.

I have been seeing Dr. Hanna for a few years now for subtle cosmetic treatment (botulin and lip filler). I appreciate that he takes his time to thoroughly consult me prior to treatment so that I actually obtain the results I want. He works WITH you on your treatment. I have never been disappointed, and would not trust anyone else with manipulating my face. Aside from clinical expertise, Dr. Hanna is a wonderful, kind person and has always made me feel comfortable and relaxed during treatment. As intimidating as any treatment can be, Dr. Hanna and his team of awesome assistants make everything easy. Dr. Todd Hanna is in a league of his own. Personally, he exudes a kind, respectful, positive, and calming presence, and cares deeply for his patients. Professionally, his work is meticulous, detail-oriented, natural, understated, and he is at the absolute top of his field. He is an excellent surgeon, and the only one in NY who creates an actual custom chin implant. Other doctors falsely claim that trimming a silicone implant to rest on the chin is "custom," whereas Dr. Hanna digitally creates and manufactures a titanium implant that is truly customized for each individual patient that will NEVER migrate and end up in a patient's cheek! He deserves a million stars! Do yourself a favor and if you are looking for an oral or maxillofacial surgeon, or a head and neck reconstructive surgeon...look no further than Dr. Hanna! I guarantee you that you will be impressed beyond belief with your entire experience from your initial consultation to your final results post-surgery.

I’ve always been a fair reviewer (through the yelp elite program & Google reviews) and this is a review worthy of edit. I’ve never (actually never) been contacted directly by a surgeon himself to reach out and give me more clarity/ information after an initial outreach call that left me feeling a bit confused and dismissed. I felt genuinely heard and we leveled with each other to land on the same page. I can see the compassion, yet grounded professionalism in this doctor. I was originally recommended this doctor by another beloved surgeon of mine: Dr. Mascaro and now I see why. I spent a lot of time looking for a surgeon who could treat my torn ear lobe in the least invasive and painful manner. Doctor Hanna was recommended to me during my search for a new surgeon by my cousin, who has had a major surgery done by him, and I was unable to decide more favorably to have my surgery with him! He is a master of his trade from start to finish, and both his work and practice are excellent. He also did my lips and they are perfect! Dr Hanna was able to fix a cosmetic problem caused by a medical condition that other doctors told me was not possible. He is a magician with a heart of gold. He is a truly brilliant artist and his confidence made me feel so calm and reassured about my decision. Every time I look in the mirror now I am so grateful.

We went to Dr. Hannah because my daughter needed her wisdom teeth extracted and because something seem to be happening to her jaw which was causing it to recede and we didn’t know what to do. Dr. Hanna suggested she undergo double jaw surgery at the same time as she was having her wisdom teeth removed and it has changed her life. From an aesthetic and medical perspective doctor Hanna is platinum standard. I would recommend him to anyone needing precise, state of the art, facial and jaw surgery, not to mention wisdom, teeth extraction. Is there anything he can’t do? I don’t think so.

The staff is very welcoming. They always keep me up to date with my appointments and Dr. Hanna is doing a great job with my facial reconstruction.

I can't speak to the quality of his work but rather the cost. His consultations are $450 and for a functional surgery his practice does not get covered by insurance (assistant said he is out of network, though they would not speak more on that without a consultation). It's quite an investment just to get a quote.

Dr. Hanna is the absolute GOAT! I saw a local plastic surgeon who did a chin implant with some submental liposuction for me previously. I didn't hate the outcome, but I was expecting it to be slightly better. Dr. Hanna's skillset with jaw surgery is unparalleled. Without ever being condescending, he explained to me the difference between a chin implant and a sliding geniotomy and the pros/cons of them. He is more than a surgeon, but also an aesthetic artist. We decided to remove my chin implant and do the sliding geniotomy, do some more submental lipo in addition to buccal fat removal, and add jaw implants. It was like he knew in my head this was the look that I was initially going for that the other surgeon couldn't get to. I am still early in the healing process but I am THRILLED with the result. I had some very minor post-operative complications that have since resolved but Dr. Hanna was so attentive and diligent with checking in on me and making sure everything healed.

Dr. Hanna is a phenomenal physician, transparent, and works with insurance to get you the best coverage possible - I was surprised that my insurance covered a substantial portion of a typically out of pocket procedure.

The doctor Hanna is an incredible artist. I had been getting my lip augmented by a plastic surgeon in NYC and had an unfortunate experience of having to dissolve the filler with hyaluronidase, which left my lips scarred. Dr. Hanna was able to revive my lips into a natural shape and size. He is very thoughtful in his markings, choice of filler and injecting procedure. Dr. Hanna is a master at his craft & I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of my wisdom teeth removal. I remember being told by my dentist as a child that my wisdom teeth were already growing in an abnormal way & that I would have to get them removed right away. Due to circumstances at the time, I wasn’t able to get this done. And throughout the years it’s been weighing on my mind how much worse they had gotten. After going over my scan w/ Dr. Hanna, I finally saw just how bad it had become. But he reassured me he would be more than able to help me. The days leading up to the surgery I started to feel anxious. Dr. Hanna is a master of his art and his surgical finesse is extraordinary. He has a special gift as a surgeon and as a person. In August (2020), he performed my surgery and I couldn’t be any happier. Dr. Hanna is a perfectionist, therefore his surgical outcomes are fantastic. As a double board certified surgeon he performs complex reconstruction surgeries on a daily basis, so he has the knowledge and the surgical expertise. Dr Todd Hanna is a most dedicated ,extraordinary , double board certified Doctor trained in oral surgery and sub specialties. He has MD and DDS degrees. His training and knowledge of his fields is extensive. His sensitivity and caring for his patients is most evident during office visits. I had two implants placed by Dr.Hanna. I was apprehensive about the decision. The treatment was gentle with excellent results. I am so happy to have all my chewing ability back. Best decision ever!

Dr Hannah is wonderful and super competent. He took care of my special needs adult son so compassionately. I cannot thank him enough and his staff is also wonderful.

After a painful root canal and ultimately having the tooth pulled, I paid a visit to another periodontist. He was bright, charming, witty, and knowledgeable with excellent credentials and spent more than adequate time up-front with me. Clearly, he must be a great surgeon. I had him put in an implant and six months later a crown. The bite was perfect, but the crown was tad too big. The tooth next to it cracked and fell out as I was eating chicken wings. The moral of this story is not to suggest one should avoid eating chicken wings, but rather that “bedside” manner does not tell the tale of competency. That brings us to Dr. Chad Hanna, an expert in implant, esthetic, reconstructive dentistry & maxillofacial prosthetics. He is bright, charming, witty, knowledgeable, has excellent credentials and spends more than adequate time with me. On my first visit for a cleaning and a check-up, he noticed a slight growth on the roof of my mouth he thought troublesome. I told him I just burned my mouth eating hot chicken wings and it was a blister. He begged to disagree and suggested I visit his brother Todd, who has a dual-degree (MD, DDS) as an oral & maxillofacial surgeon. Sure, keep it in the family and send the kids to college. Dr. Todd Hanna is bright, charming, witty, knowledgeable, has excellent credentials and spent more than adequate time with me. He had agreed to see me, without charge, just to offer a second opinion as a dual-degree (MD, DDS) oral & maxillofacial surgeon and a head and neck reconstructive surgeon and as a favor to his brother who was concerned enough to arrange for the appointment. He thought the growth was likely minor and benign, but clearly not the result of eating chicken wings. He was not overly concerned and I wanted to get quickly home to cook some chicken wings. Nevertheless, he gently persuaded me to have a not inexpensive biopsy done (the bulk of the cost going to the lab). With some reluctance, I acquiesced. The biopsy came back a few days later and confirmed both the Hanna brothers’ diagnoses that, indeed, it was a benign growth that, fortunately, was highly unlikely to turn malignant. Dr. Todd confirmed reluctantly it was unnecessary for me to have it removed surgically. I was all set to leave to go get an order of chicken wings to celebrate but thought to ask what he would do if he had the same condition. He answered honestly he would remove it just from a precautionary standpoint. Having gone this far, I made an appointment to do so but ran home to chomp on some chicken wings while searching the internet to confirm that cutting out the growth with a scalpel, no less, versus laser, surgery made sense. All my readings confirmed Dr. Todd’s advice. I was back a week later, spent fifteen painless minutes in his chair with the help of his highly competent and quite knowledgeable assistant. He insisted this time on another biopsy to confirm that he had removed the entire tumor, since it was unusually located on my palate and he had to dig down to the bone to be assured it would be fully removed and not grow back. The biopsy came back confirming everything was copacetic. I waited for several months, and endless amounts of chicken wings, to let the (minor) wound heal to see if any complications developed or if scar tissue built up. Everything appeared to be fine. However, I held off reviewing my experience until now after going back to Dr. Chad for a cleaning and his appraisal. He thought the wound had healed perfectly and gave me a clean bill of health. The moral of this story is the same. “Bedside” manner does not tell the tale of competency. In the case of the two Drs. Hanna, they both exhibited superb competency despite being bright, charming, witty, knowledgeable, with excellent credentials and a willingness to explain their diagnoses and the ramifications of my condition. It is my pleasure to recommend both dental surgeons highly, particularly if you like chicken wings. Oncologist recommended that Dr. Todd Hanna perform complicated, extensive surgery following diagnosis of melanoma. During the course of treatment other physicians and surgeons have noted the quality of the surgery. Dr. Hanna and the office staff have been excellent to work with. Highly recommended.

Dr Hanna came to the hospital to perform surgery after a fall on a Sunday (the day of last year's Super Bowl). He repaired a fractured jaw and did close follow up on the days and weeks following the surgery. I'm eternally grateful for an excellent result and full function now!!! Highly recommend this very skilled lovely person.

So I saw Dr. Hanna at the recommendation of my general dentist who had done all she could to try and save five of my front teeth. The endeavor to salvage my teeth had been an uphill battle for well over 10 years. A dental history of tooth trauma, thousands of dollars spent on other dentist early in my life who seemed good on paper but were in fact contributing to my poor dental health with poor dental work. Finally nothing more could be done and my teeth needed to come out so I could get dental implants. Obviously this is no easy decision to have to make and my trepidation level was on 10. Due my complex medical history my dentist wanted to make sure that Straumann Dental Implants were used to ensure the longevity of my new teeth. This is where Dr. Hanna came in. In a world where everything is reviewed online, despite my dentist recommendation I was a little worried because I could not find reviews on him. What I did find online was a very impressive resume of someone who is well educated and trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery. This put me at ease a little but my next concern was is this a person who will take their time with me and see the unique intricacies of the care I require and not treat me as a "one size fits all" kind of treatment plan. Fast forward to current day...I had my five teeth removed, plus an additional two infected teeth that had to come out. I had a bone graft put in and my dental implants placed via CT guided surgery by Dr. Hanna. I can honestly say, from the first time I met him last year for consultation my fears were put to rest. I saw him as a second opinion, I had saw another oral surgeon and brought a copy of the CT scan I had done with me. For whatever reason the CT scan I brought was not opening on his system. This meant I would need to have another CT scan (which is not covered by my dental insurance) at Dr. Hanna's office in order for him to make an accurate assessment of the care I needed. He was kind enough to waive the fee of CT scan knowing I just paid for one at the other dentist office. He spent around 45 minutes discussing what the CT scan showed. Dr. Hanna explained the condition my teeth were in, why they needed to be removed, why I was getting multiple infections in the gums and how my chronic medical condition and the medications I take could have played a significant role in the poor condition of my teeth and gums. His knowledge of dentistry and coming up with a viable treatment plan was equally as impressive as his caring and the time he took with me. I've had experiences with doctors who have behaved like they were in a rush to see other patients and were not invested in me as an individual patient. Dr. Hanna is not that type of doctor. He is invested in my care as if I were his only patient. I should also mention Dr. Hanna worked closely and communicated often with my general dentist Dr. Angela Lee who will be doing the final dental bridge which will go on my implants. I would highly recommend Dr. Hanna to anyone who may be in need of extensive and/or complex oral surgery. He is not just a great dentist, he is a down to earth human being who CARES about his patients. Also, I have to give a shout out to Grace who is his office manager. She is professional and gives you a detailed explanation of the cost of care, what the insurance pays and what the patient's responsibility is. Nobody can prepare themselves for the day that you're told that your 13 your old daughter has a destructive tumor that has destroyed a large part of her jaw. From that moment forward, your life shifts... Thankfully, however, we were finally connected to Dr. Hanna. His knowledge, precision, and willingness to look at all possible treatment scenarios was second to none. He explained things to her, and to us in away that made us feel like partners with a voice. I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Hanna yesterday. My anxiety was high going into the surgery (primarily driven by hearsay related to the experience). Dr. Hanna and his staff did an awesome job. They immediately put my mind at ease upon arrival. It was a quick & painless process. I took some preventive pain medication when I got home, and shortly before bed, but now -- 22 hours after surgery -- I'm feeling confident pain medication probably won't be necessary going forward. I recommend Dr. Todd Hanna highly. He is bright, charming, witty, knowledgeable, has excellent credentials and spent plenty of time with me. He had agreed to see me, without charge, to offer a second opinion as a favor to his maxillofacial surgeon brother, Dr. Chad Hanna, who was concerned enough to arrange for the appointment. He thought the growth was likely benign, but gently persuaded me to have a biopsy. It confirmed the Drs. Hanna diagnoses. Dr. Todd suggested removing it from a precautionary standpoint. I ran home to search the internet to confirm that cutting out the growth with a scalpel, no less, versus laser, made sense. I was back a week later, spent fifteen painless minutes in his chair. Another biopsy confirmed that he had successfully removed the entire tumor, unusually located on my palate, causing him to dig down to the bone to be assured it would be fully removed and not grow back. Now, months later, a routine visit to Dr. Chad confirmed all is copacetic.

Dr. Todd Hanna is a great oral surgeon. I saw him for teeth removal with bone graft and dental implant placement. He took his time with me during my initial consultation, reviewed the CT scan results of my teeth, discussed the condition of the teeth and gums, why the teeth needed to be removed, the procedure by which he would remove them and the overall time frame and healing process of the bone graft until when I could actually have the implants placed. He took his time with me and explained my treatment plan in great detail. Any questions I has he answered and was even diligent in filling out my short term disability paperwork to ensure I was able to get the proper time off to heal. Dr. Hanna is a stand-up guy who treats his patients with respect, kindness and understanding of the fear patients have about complex oral surgeries. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs oral surgery done right!

Dr Hanna came to the hospital to perform surgery after a fall on a Sunday (the day of last year's Super Bowl). He repaired a fractured jaw and did close follow up on the days and weeks following the surgery. I'm eternally grateful for an excellent result and full function now!!! Dr. Hanna did a very difficult impacted wisdom tooth extraction on my 98 year old dad. Dr. Hanna took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done. We were already aware of his extensive training in the field but after we met him, we knew he was the doctor we would trust to do this very involved surgery. He was not only an accomplished surgeon but he had compassion and a wonderful sense of humor. My father and I both felt confident and at ease with this wonderful doctor. The surgery turned out well. My dad is doing just fine thanks to Dr. Hanna. We are both so thankful to him. The staff is also amazing. The office manager, Grace (a name that befits her) was so kind and made sure my dad got scheduled as soon as possible. She was such a pleasure to deal with. Dr. Hanna's surgical assistant, Emi was also delightful. She was excellent in dealing with a geriatric patient. Yessi, at the front desk greeted everyone with a welcoming smile. Dr. Hanna was among 3 surgeons that examined me and my problem. He was definitive and thorough in his diagnosis, explained it thoroughly and even illustrated the abnormality. He sought the needed approvals and surgery went well, followed up and recovery and healing went well. He is personable and not ostentatious. His staff are friendly and efficient. The office is clean and well equipped.

I highly recommend Dr Hanna. He treated me in an emergency when I broke my jaw in two places. As well as being a terrific doctor and surgeon, he is compassionate, kind and with a great personality. In more than a year of follow-up treatment, he has always been available and is excellent at explaining the details of complicated surgery in an understandable way. His staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable and I am 100% satisfied as a patient.

Dr. Todd Hanna must make his parents proud! Not only is he very knowledgeable and technically skilled, he has a wonderful personality. He has a way of calming even the most stressful event and anxious patient. He cares and it shows. His confidence and reassurance has helped us on many occasions. I had corrective double jaw surgery back in February of 2018 to fix my underbite with Dr. Hanna. He was so professional throughout the whole process from consultation to post op care. He is one of the best doctor’s in his field and it shows in his outstanding work. I’m so pleased with my results and recovery. It was a huge procedure and I’m glad I chose him to be my surgeon.

Dr. Hanna is a very compassionate and exceptionally talented. I was very nervous about needing oral surgery, and of all the doctors I met, he was the only that calmed me down and reassured me that everything would be fine, and he was right. The procedure went well. He has an incredible team that is ready and willing to provide support. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Exceptional in all respects. I've had 2 visits, and in each case Dr. Hanna and staff treated me with great care and compassion. Like most patients, I am apprehensive when undergoing oral. surgery, however, Dr. Hannas calm and competent manner put me at ease. All aspects of my treatment were thoroughly and clearly explained. Follow-up care by Dr. Hanna was terrific.

Dr. Hanna is very calm, compassionate, and personable, and his assistant is very helpful.
