This review starts at the time of making an appointment. JOSH the office manage wanted to argue with me if I had ever been seen by Dr. Whaytt or not. I finally just told him it really doesn't matter whose right or wrong that I just wanted to make an appointment. I told him who my insurance was with and asked him if he could go ahead and run my insurance. He refused to even to attempt to. Today for my appointment I was told that That their office doesn't take my insurance. I told the receptionist that this is why I tried to get Josh to run my insurance because I was driving from out of town. JOSH was very rude and argumentative and slammed a paper with dr names on the countertop. The other person in the check in area was nice. JOSH WAS NOT. I FINALLY ASKED Josh, "are you still talking"? Excellent care

Had great staff. Dr. Whyatt was very nice and explained everything to me. I will be going back

I would give this place a 0 star rating if possible. They purposely took a 2:30pm appointment before my mom’s 2:00pm appointment. They claimed I wasn’t done with paperwork which is why they took the other lady back first but I had already turned in the paperwork. The lady at the front than told us to go elsewhere if we didn’t like having to wait. I have a severe Alzheimer’s patient that doesn’t do well in public and the fact that they gladly will let her wait at least another half hour before even being brought into the back to be seen is ridiculous and poor management. My mom tries to run away and has to be kept locked up when not being taking to doctors to be seen. So now I am in a waiting room having to keep her from trying to run away and she is causing a huge scene because she is being made to wait to be seen. The doctor is a good doctor but the staff are horrible. Twice the front staff have tried to charge me a co-payment because they obviously don’t know the difference between plan F and other lower plans on secondary insurances. If I hadn’t been told by someone more knowledgeable not in their office they would have never refunded me my money and would have kept trying to fraudulently charge an elderly woman for foot services. This place needs to be checked for elder medicaire fraud. They have refused service because I called them out on making her waiting to be seen and I told them that they have poor management. Good thing we are moving and this was supposed to be only a maintenance appointment so my elderly mom can get her nails cut which I am unable to do due to her severe fungus issues on her toes that normal nail cutters can’t clip. They are also refusing to allow me to talk to the doctor about their horrible staff attitudes. Josh the manager even threatened to call the cops because I said I was going to sit in the waiting room until I could talk to the doctor about his nasty attitude but obviously the doctor loves his staff and their nasty attitudes since I can see from the other poor reviews he has been nasty to all of his other patients. I at least reported this office for medicaire fraud and have filed a complaint against the doctor with the medical license board. I would give this place a 0 star rating if possible. Dr. Whyatt is an excellent Podiatrist. He really does care about each individual and their needs. He is very thorough with a treatment plan. The office is very clean and sanitary. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a great foot physician.

Awesome doctor ! Takes time to listen, wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Whyatt is fine, but his office manager, JOSH is an obnoxious jerk. I am amazed after reading the reviews about him, that Dr. Whyatt still has him on staff. I was given a boot for my heel. I don't have any shoes that are level with the boot's height. I called the office. Dr. Whyatt was not in the office. JOSH told me very rudely that since I was driving, couldn't I drive to buy more shoes. I asked his name and he said "My name is JOSH. I am Dr. Whyatt's office manager". It appears that JOSH's behavior is tolerated by Dr. Whyatt. I am finding another doctor. Dr. Whyatt is fine, but his office manager, JOSH is an obnoxious jerk. I had no problem with the doctor but the man in front is very unprofessional and a liar. I'm trying to reschedule with the doctor because nobody from the office called me to remind my appointment with the doctor, he told me the doctor do not want to see me anymore, the reason I didn't go because nobody call me to remind me since the doctor put my schedule three month ahead. Excellent, Painless and effective, Best podiatrist here in Gainesville. Other foot doctors have been very painful. they take steps here to make sure it is virtually painless, trust me I have been to more than a few foot doctors.

Bunionectomy, Starboard foot. Excellent experience, from diagnosis through surgery, recovery and final clearance to get on with things. Dr. Whyatt treated me with professionalism, he made the experience almost painless. The same goes for his staff, especially Michelle I most highly recommend him to those in need of his services

In 2013 & 2014 Dr. Whyatt performed surgery on each one of my feet. If you need surgery for your feet he is the man to see. He's terrific! I have not had any trouble with my feet since. Follow his instructions to the letter and you will be just great.

Dr. Whyatt was fine and very cordial. The problem is the man behind the desk. I have nothing but problems with their billing. He keeps telling me that I owe money that I do not owe. It should be simple, I have a co-pay of $20.00 and most of the time the charge is less than $20.00. I received a bill for $15 two different times. I thought it was settled at the last appointment I had, where I took great time, to do a spread sheet showing that I didn't owe the amount. He wouldn't look at or listen to me while I was trying to explain that they actually owed me money. My charge was $6.00 that appointment and he told me I didn't owe anything further.?????? So I received another bill for the same amount. I called (I guess it was after 4 pm and he answered the phone and was so nasty while I tried to explain the situation. He kept going about that it was after hours, so why did he answer the phone in such a terrible mood. He said he would have to talk to the doctor about it and I may have to look for another physician. Today I went into the office for my appointment only to find out he had cancelled it and then proceeded to lie to me that he had told me that when he was yelling at me on the phone that he was cancelling it. What is the matter with this man? I used to be a head of a billing department and had gone through a lot of trouble to show him that I didn't owe any money. What an unhappy man, maybe he should find another job and I hope Dr. Whyatt reads this. I have never had a problem like this before. Now I am looking for another Doctor. The doctor himself was very nice and kind but watch out for the guy behind the desk. He seems to have a problem with anyone that questions him. Dr. Whyatt was fine and very cordial. Dr. Whyatt and Suncoast Podiatry are wonderful! Dr. Whyatt clearly explained the problem and procedure needed. He is an excellent doctor who is personable and spends time with his patients. Most importantly for all of us Doctor phobics, I experienced no pain during my surgical procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Whyatt.

Dr. Whyatt actually spent time talking and listening to me in a relaxed, attentive manner. He did an excellent job of clearly communicating what the problem was and how he was going to treat the situation. Having gone to other podiatrists, I can highly recommend Dr. Whyatt for his excellent surgical techniques, no pain experienced, and his overall empathetic concern for the patient. One of the best doctors I have ever seen.
