Second time he told me it was a problem with the crown. After I saw another endodontist who did a re-treatment, turns out the problem was 1) Temple did not treat all of the canals in my tooth and 2) when Temple was doing his procedure, a piece of the instrument broke off and he left it in my tooth. What?? When a piece of instrument breaks off, the dentist knows it and is obligated to tell the patient in case it causes future problems. I’d pick another dentist who takes responsibility and is more honest with their patients.

I went there on referral and it was Absolutely The worst experience I’ve ever had with in a dentist office not only was the dentist extremely rude went out of the way to try and stop my personal dentist from completing a procedure on me because of personal differences

Wonderful staff. Dealt with the insurance BS. The doctor did great. Very little discomfort. His assistant was terrific. Everyone needs raises!

Had my first root canal here and it went great. The procedure went smoothly and pain free. It's been over 24 hours since the procedure and still no pain. Dr. Timothy and all the staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend anyone needing a root canal to go here.

My first root canal. Perfect visit, I don’t think it could have gone any better. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel at ease. The Dr told me it would be like getting a filling and he was not wrong. It took about 30 minutes and there was no pain. I had a root canal and they got me in same day. Very professional and very knowledgeable. Staff was very nice and very helpful.

I had a terrible experience at this dental practice . When I initially made my appointment I gave them my ins info . When I showed up for the appointment they told me my ins didn’t cover the procedure and I would have to pay 1200 . I knew I had Ins and left . Shortly after they called me to tell me they were mistaken and I did have coverage. I would have expected that they would have checked my ins prior to my appointment. When I rescheduled . I arrived and Dr Temple came in and medicated the tooth with nova caine and I was very numb. In this state I was asked to get out of the chair and go out front to settle my bill ? This was a very uncomfortable and unsettling situation. I only owed a small balance after my ins coverage. Normally at other dentists this would be done before or after the procedure. When Dr Temple came in to do the root canal I asked him to please try to drill through my crown. I have several crowns and have had root canals before where the Endodontist has drilled through the crown .Saving the crown. Dr Temple totally ignored and disregarded my request and drilled the crown off.Never even trying to save the crown. So I now have to incur the cost of a new crown at 1800-2000 . My experience was thrilling. I didn't expect a painful experience. Previously I had had 2 root canals done by these fine folk. All were expertly done and fast as well. Just what I needed.

I had a terrible experience . From the initial visit . Where they told me my Ins wouldn’t cover the root canal and tried to charge me 1200. I knew I had coverage and left only to get a phone call saying that there was a mistake and I was covered. To my next visit . When they weren’t sure what tooth was being treated . On my initial visit I brought with me a picture of the X-ray from my dentist with a referral card indicating what tooth my dentist requested to be treated. They took an X-ray and identified the tooth. Then Dr Temple came in injected my tooth with novacaine and numbed my mouth. Then I was asked to get out of the chair and go out front to settle my bill ?? While I was medicated ? I had a small balance due , but usually that’s collected at the beginning or the end of the appointment? It was very weird and uncomfortable. I have mostly all crowns and in the past when I needed a root canal the endodontist would drill through the crown.( saving the crown) I asked Dr Temple to please try to drill through the crown. He totally disregarded and ignored my request and just drilled it off. The Crown was in good condition. Causing me to have to get a new crown at 1800-2000. I was appalled at the treatment I received by Dr Temple and the way they conducted business. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for pleasant and respectful experience.

A very clean, warm and friendly environment. Dr Temple explained procedure and put me at ease. I would recommend going to this office for root canal therapy.

He was gentle, and explained the process as he worked. I am pleased.

My first appointment was 12/6 on short notice and I was amazed at the excellent service I received. I was called back with information on exactly how much I would be expected to pay. I appreciated this! Dr. Temple answered my questions and was awesome! I felt comfortable with him and had him do my second root canal today, 12/10!

It was excellent! Staff was friendly & knowledgeable. I arrived, filled out paperwork, & was taken to the treatment room in an efficient manner. Dr. Temple was really nice & explained the procedure. I’m not experiencing any pain or discomfort. I would highly recommend Dr. Temple.

I’ve had a few root canals in my time, this was by far the most compassionate and attentive experience in dental that I’ve had. I was asked at least 3-5 times if I was in any kind of pain, before the procedure. The actual work itself seemed like less than 20-25 min. Dr Temple is an innovative endodontist. While you’re waiting to be treated, hope you like Food Network ?????? 50” Hi-Def tv so even if you’re kinda blind like me, you can still see the food and what they’re doing…I was working on my 3rd episode by the time it was all done. Numb for about 3-4 hours after, no pain. Highly recommend. 10 stars for extra compassion and extra care and my dentist’s 5-Star amazement of the precision of Dr Temple’s work: “that is textbook. That’s impeccable craft!” Thanks so much, Dr Temple.

As a healthcare professional, I found Dr. Temple and his staff very professional and caring. The office is high tech, and the Dr. is very skilled. I was in and out and very little pain or discomfort.

I experienced no pain during the procedure or at home after leaving. If you need to chat and gossip, this is not the place to go! But if you need a 1st rate dentist, this is the place to go! The whole staff was friendly, helpful and caring!

Dr Temple & his staff are amazing!!! Last Friday I found out from my dentist i needed a root canal & have to get it done ASAP. I called Dr Temples office & explained the situation also being in uncomfortable pain. The receponist told me to just come on in & that he would see me TODAY (which is was amazing it being a friday)! In the past I have had a root canal done by Dr. Temple before & he makes the experince as comfortable it can be. Also he was very honest, unfortunately this tooth location (being the very last one in the back) & for my mouth being small we were unable to perform a root canal. Which I ended up going to get it pulled but I'm so glad he was completely honest. That he didnt try to fully perform on a tooth that honestly couldnt be saved. Went for a root canal, was feeling anxious expecting not a pleasant experience. Dr Temple was very nice , quick and I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort at all. Didn’t have to take pain medication and felt great the next day. Did a great job. The staff was also very nice and welcoming. Recommended 100%.

It's crazy to think that someone would be gloating about a root canal. Yet here I am telling you what a fantastic experience I had. Hard to believe that just yesterday July 14, 2021 was the date I had my work done. Absolutely no pain today and no pain yesterday. A great job from a great Endodontist Timothy Temple DMD. I have had 2 root canals here. One about 15 years ago and the second was a week ago. The first was on number 31. It was super easy and has worked out well over a decade later. No issues whatsoever. My dentist even commented on how perfect it looks on an x-ray. My second root canal last week was a hard one. It was on number 30 which is right on that big nerve. The tooth chipped and cracked so it was already really really sensitive. He gave me Novocaine and off we went. When he first went to drill, he didn't even touch my tooth. Just the air movement hurt. He immediately stopped and gave me more Novocaine. I seriously appreciate how generous he was with it. Then he started to drill and that went well until he made it to the nerve. Yikes! The moment I complained of pain he stopped again and injected the Novocaine directly into the nerve. It was smooth sailing from that point on. I had a few days of being sore and a bit of pain here and there but it was manageable with a little medication. I adore Dr. Temple for his efficiency, attention to pain, and longevity of his work. I'm terrified of dental pain but he is very mindful and makes sure to stop and numb more if needed. I've literally just had what should have been the worst dental experience of my life and it wasn't so bad! Dr. Temple has a great personality and does an excellent job. Sadly, I have just been told that the same tooth on the other side need a root canal too. Another big nerve tooth number 19 is next and I feel so much more comfortable knowing I have Dr. Temple to do it. I will update my review in a few months after I get my 3rd root canal done. Dr. Temple did an amazing job fixing the root canals that my dentist messed up! I have never been more comfortable getting a root canal! His staff is also very sweet and they make me feel like I’m important to them! I highly recommend this endodontist! I am so grateful for what they did for me! ????????????

I can’t really share anything of my experience because I’m still sitting in the waiting room an hour past my appointment. I finally asked how much longer only to be told they were “running a little behind.” An hour is not a little. She said they only had one tech, so given that situation they should have called prior and offered to reschedule instead of asking someone to sit in their waiting room for over an hour. Knowing they were running behind, why not proactively tell me? Instead, I finally had to ask, and only at that point she offered to reschedule. After waiting this long what is the point? Inefficiencies and lack of communication would make me go elsewhere in the future - plenty of options in Orlando. I was beyond terrified about getting a root canal. I read the bad reviews about the staff writing all of these good reviews, the night before my appt and was nervous. He was actually a really cool dude and made me comfortable. He numbed me up pretty good, explained the procedure and i barely felt a thing. I had a root canal done here with Dr Temple and the entire procedure was quick and not painful at all. I dislike anything that has to do with the dentist but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here if I needed future work. He is very professional and I felt he knew what he was doing with precision the entire time.

I had extreme pain in one of my molars, completely unbearable. Called Dr. Temple’s office and they were able to evaluate me the very next day. To my luck and surprise he had a patient cancel. He was able to operate my root canal procedure right there and then. It was quick, painless, and my tooth feels saved! I was in and out of there within and hour and a half of my original evaluation appointment. Post operation had very minimal pain, slight jaw soreness later that day(typical) but the next few days even without pain killers was like nothing even happened. 10/10 recommend Dr. Temple. He’s very nice, easy going, and communicates well with his patients. He even recommended local general dentists as I am in search of a new one! I did have an issue during one of my visits mainly with the front desk staff where there was a mix up with costs but the office manager took care of the issue. Awful. He won't use a mask when doing basic medical procedures, even if you request that he do so. I've never known a medical professional to not wear a mask while conducting medical procedures. Gross.

Absolute WORST doctor (Dr. Temple) in Orlando. I had had a root canal done here in 2014 and I came here to get it checked last year after my dentist said it didn’t look right on the X-ray. Dr Temple said it’s fine. Then three weeks ago awful pain started on that tooth and this incompetent dr Temple checked it three times in the last two weeks and said nothing is wrong with it after it was getting worst and I was showing signs of a tooth abscess he still said it’s FINE. I end up telling him I’m just going to go to Ecuador to get it checked there and he laughs at me on the phone and laughs at me and tells me good luck going to a third world country. He literally said we are way too advanced here they can’t do anything for you. Well he can eat his words now bc I get to ecuador and they detect immediately the infection on that tooth and I had to have it removed ASAP. It was killing me! The infection was spreading through my body and I was starting to suffer from headaches, leg cramps, increased thirst, anemia, etc. Awful! This stupid doctor is either brain dead or the biggest scam artist EVER. He took 2k from me after performing 2 root canals on teeth that he said were the problem when the actual problem he said was fine according to him! Stay away!!! Not a good experience here at all. They don’t have the patient’s well being as priority but their own pockets. Dr Temple is racist and negligent. do NOT believe any of the good reviews. The staff writes their own reviews. Trust me if you want to waste your money then come to this place.

Absolute nightmare!!!! If you want to be ripped off and having a tooth infection then this is your place. Not only their main purpose is to profit on people’s trust on their practice but I have been suffering from having a tooth infected this so called doctor performed a root canal on me and told me year after year and check up after check up that nothing was wrong with it after complaining is pain. I saw another doctor who detected the infection right away and had to have it extracted as it was abscessed. How is it that this doctor Temple checks it twice in a matter of two weeks and tells me it’s fine and right away someone else detectes the infection st another practice? Bc he just wanted to profit on me! He kept saying it was another tooth the problem and did 2 root canals on random teeth telling me that was the problem. His staff is well trained to brush you off and tell you to basically go fly a kite bc no one will help you or refund you any money for their malpractice. While my initial thought was how good he was, while doing the root canal, he popped my bridge off. Didn't tell me. It was only when the root canal was finished that I realized my bridge was gone. The assistant said it was broken. It was not, my dentist got it back from him. He also broke two teeth off when he snapped the bridge off. And just getting back from an other dentist today, found out the root canal is not complete and that tooth is in jeopardy of falling out as one of the posts he put in is broken and not secure. He changed my appointment from 9 to 12 on a Friday morning due to a headache, not a huge deal But he leaves you in the chair for 10 minute intervals with your mouth wide open when he works on another patient. Also be careful he gave me an 18 pain pill Narcotic prescription that I do not use and another inappropriate prescription for an antibiotic 30 pills, 2 the first day and 1 per day until done. That is having your body on an antibiotic for 29 days. He sings while he works on you again not a huge deal. Just be a well informed patient. I had no pain or complications after the root canal. I absolutely LOVE this place. I will never go anywhere else. I have had many root canals done in my life. I have had terrible experiences and as a result have a lot of fear and anxiety about getting any dental work done. This was by far the best experience I have ever had. Had a root canal- incredibly comfortable as far as that can go. Doctor was very attentive, staff very friendly. Left and went right back to work pain free.  No issues.

I just recently moved here from California. I had a terrible toothache that had been killing me and I had been trying to manage it but it got the best of me. I am so glad that I found Dr. Temple. I myself have been in dentistry for more than 20 years and I followed my gut feeling and research about Dr. Temple and decided to give him a call. I’m so glad I listened to my gut and my experience. Dr. Temple and his staff are absolutely phenomenal. They were able to get me in on the same day for an emergency procedure. His staff was both polite and professional from the first time that I called until I left. Dr. Temple himself just blew my mind. Because I have been in the field for so long I have seen and dealt with a lot. He is kind, excellent chair side manners, personable, down to earth. Just an all around genuine person. To put the icing on the cake he was so gentle and professional. The injection was easy and the procedure was painless. So, my dentist told me last year that I needed a root canal. Of course, nobody's in a hurry to get their 1st root canal so I put it off until the unbearable pain came a couple of weeks ago. Called Dr. Temple's office to schedule an appointment on Thursday & I got an appointment the next day! Dr. Temple was so awesome! Dr Temple and especially his staff were great. I had a very infected tooth that took two different visits (three counting the diagnostic visit) and Dr Temple took his time to “get it right”. It was my first root canal and I’m not a big fan of dentist anyway, but Dr Temple made the experience as tolerable as possible. The highlight of the office, however, was the staff. Absolutely everyone I encounter from the reception desk, to the dental assistants to billing was friendly, empathetic and very helpful. By my third visit they felt like family. I had been dealing with some of the worst pain over the last week due to 2 teeth that needed root canals. One call from my dentist and I was being seen within an hour in their office. From the moment I walked in everyone was kind and welcoming. Dr Temple was so kind, just his demeanor helped me relax. Hands down the kindest and most professional office I’ve been too. This was not an easy day for me and they made this experience way better than I thought imaginable. Not to mention Dr Temple was quick and knowledgeable with both root canals. Very gentle and aware of any discomfort. He made sure to keep using anesthetic. I will not go any where else if I need more work. I have Been to Dr. Temple several times over the past 3 years and he is the best. I have never had any pain when he does a root canal, I can't say this about any other Dr. I have ever gone to. I wish he would do all my dental work !! He is very nice and always makes sure you are comfortable . The Best Dr. I have ever had and I have had plenty !!

I was very unhappy with Dr. Temple's work. He performed a root canal that failed within a years time. He took very little responsibility for it and I ended up getting it removed by an oral surgeon.
