Dr. Timothy Martin Syperek

Long wait time, untrained staff, quickly scheduled, without stating other options, procedure, only saw actual surgeon twice dispite complications.

Either we had a significant misunderstanding or he owes me a huge apology. He knows what is going on but is not communicating with me. Still leaving it to his staff. I have lost all respect for him. I will be compliant until cleared from this procedure and then will ask my primary care provider to refer me elsewhere. So disappointed. I had heard wonderful about him prior to coming to him in the first place. Maybe he just does not like me.

I found Dr Syperek through another Drs referral but I'm so glad I did! Due to compression injuries from a drastic fall, I've had to go through a couple dozen foot surgeries. Ultimately my fight foot was fused but I was still having unusual pain with it. When I told Dr Syperek about it he not only one exactly what I was experiencing but explained to me what it was, why it was done that way and then said that he would fix it. And he did!! There were no complications (I've experienced many in the past). The recovery was fast and simple! Of course I knew I needed to follow God recovery instructions explicitly to avoid any complications (I learned the hard way, but also had Drs who messed up) and that's what I did Together we made the best of what happened to me feet. For that I'm eternally grateful.

Dr Syperek has a very unique set of skills. He listens thoroughly. He asks questions and wants you to ask questions too. When he explains what's going on he doesn't let you interrupt (a trait of ADHD thati often do -but wish I didn't). He tells you how he can fix it. And asks if you have any questions. He answers your questions after the visit too. He explained what probably happened, how he was going to fix it and what he expected from me through the recovery. He did what he said he would do, in my case it was surgery. I followed his recovery orders to the T and got the results I wanted. It wasn't easy. In my human error, I thought I knew what was best at certain times. I sat and read the instructions again and stuck to them. He fixed the problems I have with my feet. Problems created by other drs. Problems created by my anatomy. Problems created by my lack of proper use. Together we accomplished the goals we worked for.

My advice could be find another doctor As opposed to this butcher

There was no time line of what to expect with the healing process. The wait time for a post op visit has always exceeded one hour, even if you are seeing a medical assistant and not the doctor.

He is rudest foot doctor I ever seen. Stay away .. I am going see new foot doctor.. not impressed.. he do not care about your foot or feet. Trust me he doesn’t ..

I went to coastal this week the first thing I looked at was if the office was clean. And it was very clean after waiting about 5 minutes the young man at the window called me and told me I needed to fill my information out. After filling it out I waited about 10 minutes and the nurse called me she was very nice. She talked to me afew minutes and told me the Dr. would be right in and he was. He was super nice to us and very professional he ask me alot of questions. Looked at my exrays then explained them to us then we both decited on what would be best for me. I have endured a bunion for a few decades and decided it was time to deal with it. My primary doctor sent me to Coastal Podiatry where I met with Dr Syperek. I recently had horrible care with cancer treatments so had been leery about Medical services. This office regained my faith in medical care. The staff as well as Dr Syperek made me feel like I was in good qualified hands. My surgery went well, I felt informed throughout the whole healing process, except I thought I would be driving in about a month and was 2 1/2 months. I had very minimal pain except depending on my husband to get me around. I have recommended Dr Syperek to several of my friends. When I decide to do my other foot, I will return to this office. I took my elderly frail mother in for an appointment and was placed in a back room that was freezing cold FOR OVER AN HOUR without anyone coming in to provide an update on the status of the doctor. After an hour, I finally went out to see what was going on. They said the doctor is coming now. ANOTHER 15 MINUTES went by without the doctor coming in. Unacceptable. Inconsiderate. As a type 1 diabetic, I have been treated by professionals for my condition and its side effects for close to fifty years. While I have encountered questionable medical people Dr. Syperek is absolutely one of the most proficient, cordial, and thorough Doctors practicing today. One doctor who shall remain nameless out of common decency was ready to amputate half of both feet. This was when I put my foot down (no pun intended) and demanded a more patient-friendly doctor. My list was long of potential physicians but gratefully shortened with one visit to Dr. Syperek. This man understands the psychological as well as the physical torment often besetting the patient. His every effort is with the kindness one would want in working with my situation. If there is someone who believes there is a better doctor for working with the ravages of diabetes I'd like them to meet Dr. Syperek. In my opinion, they would stand a distant second to this marvelous medical professional. God bless him.

Excellent surgeon for bunions and hammer toes.

The entire staff is professional, friendly and personable. They spend ample time and answer all of your questions and made me feel at ease during each visit!!

Professional, knowledgeable, and collaborator, I have had to use him for two difficult surgeries and would go to him again if the need arises.

Incredibly condescending. Doesn’t listen well and only wants to offer surgery. Won’t be returning!

I became his patient in 2017. My first appointment was not with him but instead with one of his many residents. The first time I laid eyes on Dr. Syperek was the day of my surgery for less than 5 minutes. My surgery was in December 2017 and after the surgery, I did everything that I was told to do: knee scooter, then I had the boot and finally after many weeks I was able to use gym shoes only. I went to physical therapy every week. But during all this time, I was in pain. I went back several times to the doctor but I only saw his residents - never him. I was told by the residents that my pain stemmed from a nerve where they showed where it was. The pain was never in that area and I told them and showed them every time where the pain was. At the 8th visit, my husband came with me and demanded to see the Dr. Syperek. He saw me for less than 5 minutes made a diagnosis and ordered x-rays. As fast as he came in, is as fast as he left. I was never told what the results were of the x-rays. My pain continued. I went back and ordered their custom made inserts. Still the pain continued. I went back again, and now I'm being told that I have inflamed tendons. All my visits during 2018 were with the residents never with Dr. Syperek. I am now seeing a new doctor and for the first time in over a year, I am now no longer in pain. The new doctor spent 30 minutes with me explaining what he saw in my x-rays and MRI's. I finally found a doctor that was willing to spend as much needed time with a patient and explain things clearly. This doctor is no good! I became his patient in 2017. I was extremely nervous because my threshold of pain is very low but Dr. Timothy Syperek was so understanding and compassionate that he reassured me that it will not be a painful procedure. And my God I did not feel any pain at all! Thank you Dr. Timothy Syperek for respecting and understanding how I feel! I was referred to this office by my primary caregiver. After seeing Timothy. He told me that I needed to go have an MRI. They gave me a list of places to go which were in the same group just in different areas. I go and have the MRI. Now I'm getting bills and then finding out that they sent me to someone who is not in my network. I felt like them being in my network they were sending me to someone who was in my network. Very unprofessional and left as it was my fault. I do not recommend.

My spouse had a terrible accident and suffered multiple fractures which resulted in a infected wound. We were offered amputation after a failed surgery by someone else. Dr. Syperek was able to clear the infection and go back to fix the fractures to the point mybwife could walk again. We are so grateful for his kindness and willingness to not give up on such a difficult case.

Today was my first appointment with Dr Syperek. I have been in considerable pain with my foot for 2 weeks now. I thought it might have been broken. I am by nature not very trusting and a little cynical. I found Dr Syperek to be very knowledgeable and professional. He patiently explained the anatomy of the problem and answered my questions, and presented alternative TX options. He then took an ultrasound of my foot and gave me a shot, with good results. My mother hurt her foot about 5 years ago and it sent her into early retirement. Since she was a woman who had worked her whole life and now could no longer walk so her health got worse and worse. She had several strokes and then was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2014. After being misdiagnosed twice I finally thought that I had found a doctor that located the fracture in my foot and would be able to help me but boy was I wrong. Not only could he not find the fracture in the second set of x-rays that he had scheduled me to have but he also had given me the wrong directions on how to heal my fracture. My young daughter crushed her foot, no doctor provided us a positive outlook. Dr Syperek was very positive. In the recovery room he said it was like putting together a bowl of corn flakes. He said if she followed instructions, she will have full use of her foot again. Our daughter went through some tough rehab. She had to learn to walk, run, and jump again. We are very grateful to Dr Syperek.
