Rushed appointment. Contradicted himself next appointment. Then became confrontational and condescending. During the appointment. Offered very little constructive advice. Really tried to make me feel like it was my fault for the issues I had.

I am a current bunion correction patient one week post surgery. I selected Dr. Mooney based on his credentials and his expertise in lapiplasty. I couldn’t be more impressed. His diagnosis and pre-op surgery plan was provided to me in great detail. And the surgery went exactly as he explained. Office visits have been courteous, wait times nominal ( within minutes of appt. time). Given the time he spent with me on my first appt., I can see that each condition is different so I would have accepted and understood if my appt wait time was longer. He is personable and took the effort to get to know me. He’s a cool guy and it is has been a pleasure to have him as my physician to treat this longstanding condition. I would recommend Dr. Mooney without hesitation or reservation. The neighboring hospital has a nice community feeling.

I’d never recommend this doctor. I’m a nurse and I would NEVER treat my patients like this doctor and office staff did me. His staff are rude, unprofessional and he is very arrogant and lacks compassion. If you love your loved one seek another doctor/office!

I would not recommend Dr. Mooney for elderly patients. Over the course of my mom's visits, he became increasingly harsh and belittling. He treated her physical problem - his doctoring skills are not in question, but his skill with patients was very poor in our experience. He apparently also does not like coming to Fallon since on almost every visit he said, "[My coming to Fallon] might be convenient for you, but it's not for me!"

He’s a jerk! He was annoyed that I was there. His staff isn’t that great either. When I made the appointment they told me he was very prompt and to not be late. My checkin was 8:15am for an 8:30am appointment. I got there at 8:05, wasn’t called back until ten minutes to 9. ?? Such a HUGE jerk. I wouldn’t recommend him to anybody.

I had an extensive foot surgery from Dr. Mooney. He was able to successfully reconstruct the arch of my right foot. Needless to say, I was suffering ankle problems due to really flat feet. Dr. Mooney was helpful, personable, reachable, and very skillful with how he handled my visits and my surgery. I would definitely recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr Mooney for a lot of years he is a very good Dr and a very fine surgeon I would recommend him to anyone

My name is Brian P, and I am a new patient of Dr. Mooney, and I have an upcoming Surgery with the Dr. I found the office staff profesdional, helpful, and friendly.. More importantly, the Dr's medical support staff was Great and could see that I was not at ease with my foot condition ( scared and trying to man-up and not show.. I think they saw right thru me.. The Good Dr. came in and explained my condition, and options and never "pushed" any solution. A Great Doctor in my opinion

Dr Mooney absolutely butchered my foot almost 2 years doing a hammer toe and bunion surgery. I now have problems walking and my foot is in constant pain. How did he not know what he did to me. I've seen the xrays of my foot and I know he also saw the xrays of my foot he took. Never once did he say "I screwed up". I cant begin to tell you the emotion that has come from this. I hope he never does this to anyone else.

I have never waited longer than 5 minutes to see Dr. Mooney. One time I went on the wrong day and they fit me in. Right time, wrong day. His office staff front and back are the nicest most friendliest helpful caring people I have ever met. I have the most painful feet and he goes out of his way to help me deal and control my pain. I think he and office staff are 10 stars. Absolutely recommend to anyone with bad feet.

Doctor Mooney was my elderly mothers podiatrist for 5 years. She has had a hip replacement and was hospitalized for 6 weeks with on going complications. She is now out of the hospital, she had an appointment with Dr. Mooney however, she was 5-9 minutes late to her appointment (she was never late before) and they turned her away and wouldn't see her. She can barely walk and uses a walker. She has sever pain in her feet. I called, spoke to the office mgr. I still haven't heard back! So sad.

Front desk not to friendly but the rest of the staff and doctors are excellent it maks you over look the crummy front desk service.

I was referred to Dr. Mooney by my Primary Care doctor following a misdiagnosis by another Podiatrist in Reno, for what turned out to be very serious and painful tendon tear injuries in both feet. While Dr. Mooney's "bedside manner" is not the best (he's a bit gruff), I highly recommend him because he is a competent Podiatrist. His exam was thorough, he ordered MRI's, which enabled him to make a CORRECT diagnosis and provide options for treatment. A year later both of my feet have healed.

Very professional up and down the line. Fine office staff friendly and efficient. Best podiatry experience my mother has had since developing feet issues from her diabetes. Coming from Portola Ca. it's worth the extra drive for competent service.
