Dr. Devitt has been taking care of my dental problems and I have nothing but good things to say about him . He is an excellent Oral Surgeon. Dr. Devitt and all the staff are friendly and very informative. I am very pleased with everything he has done for me.

My mother had 7 teeth removed by Dr. Devitt. It was the worst experience of her life. She was in tears after the procedure. Dr. Devitt was demanding, inattentive, and down right rude. He gave her shots in her mouth without telling her. Didn’t sedate her adequately, as she shriveled in pain and was told by Dr. Devitt, “STOP, we don’t do that her, put your legs down, your fine.” This guy SHOULD NOT be allowed to be in this field. I am so thankful for all the staff and Dr, devitt they were all very kind,understanding, and patient with me, the surgery went amazing amd i got 22 teeth out today and so far being hours later no pain, I will recommend anyone to this place, I honestly feel so comfortable and confident to Say thank u 1000 times!!!! Ps to the nurse with purple or blue hair you are so amazing!!! Dr Devitt is amazing kind and great at his job. the front desk woman w/ dark/short hair is extremely rude and for no apparent reason.

Extremely skilled surgeon; caring and professional.

The Dr. DeWitt and his staff are both pleasant and professional. The building's environment is well planned with spacious windows, natural lighting and soothing colors. But most importantly, I trust his care.

I referred patients to Dr. Devitt frequently when I practiced in Bloomington. He is both highly skilled and highly personable. I'd recommend him to anyone needing an oral surgeon in the area!

We love Bloominton Oral Surgery!! Dr. Devitt is a skilled oral surgeon, and he has the best team!! My husband was seen in their office today for an extraction and the entire office went above and beyond to make the appointment as pleasant as it could be. Thank you Bloominton Oral Surgery! Awful! Partially done work along with the nurse taking paperwork from my hand incomplete and saying she would finish it for me. Dr is filing a complaint on surgeon. Other issues. Will bemeeting with an attorney in regards to this oral surgeon. NO!

My son had his 3 wisdom teeth removed last week. Dr. Devitt is polite and quick to do the job, which is both good and bad. He's too quick, in my view. It was like pulling teeth (pun intended) to get him to slow down and really attend to my questions. I'm guessing that he's extremely busy, and I get it, but the experience made me feel like each question I asked was putting him further behind schedule. The staff was great, though. I was very nervous about having three wisdom teeth extracted. Dr Devitt got right to work. He was very reassuring the whole time. The injections were a bit rough, but that's what it took to get the job done right. I felt zero pain during the surgery and it only lasted about 2 minutes per tooth. Dr Devitt even personally called me about 8 hours after the surgery to make sure everything was going alright -- it is. The facilities were clean and well equipped. The cost was surprisingly low, VERY surprisingly low for a surgery of any sort. Note that I do have Delta Dental and this practice contracts with Delta Dental (contracts or has a negotiated price, I don't know the exact terminology here). I paid about $406 total, but I'm hesitant to say that because there's a wide variety of nuances that go into figuring that price and maybe mine were just easy to remove. The clerks/staff were also polite and professional and very on-point with making sure I understood the post-operation instructions and was able to receive the medication from the pharmacy. We ran into some weird issues where the prescription was lost via voicemail at the pharmacy and upon returning to the practice, they made sure it got correctly sent to the pharmacy and had it filled super fast. I had my wisdom teeth removed here and it's been about 6 years since....and I'm STILL having problems with the MASSIVE holes that they left chunks of tooth in. I recently went to the dentist and got xrays, revealing a lot of shattered tooth now lodged in my gums. This place is AAWWWFUUUULLL do NOOOOT get your wisdom teeth out here, they will shatter all of them and leave tooth bits in your gums that you will have to have removed, painfully, years later. I'd give them one star if it weren't for the oral surgery being good and the staff being pretty friendly. The reason for the poor review is I am a 26 year old male and I had my mother take me as per the usual "not driving after coming out of anesthesia" thing. Pretty standard procedure, but the time came where they charged my mother for the surgery before leaving after the procedure. My mother is not fiscally responsible for me, and to make her pay for the trip is horrendous. You should have either charged me at the time I arrived or sent me a letter later for the bill. I'd give them one star if it weren't for the oral surgery being good and the staff being pretty friendly. Dr. Devitt has compassion! My family has witnessed it in multiple circumstances. He and his office staff have integrity and character beyond what is expected. ! Thank you

Very friendly and professional staff. Dentist removed my wisdom tooth and made the experience very smooth and easy (unlike another dentist I went to before for my other tooth). He worked very fast and I didn't experience pain.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr Devitt. Both him and the staff were very compassionate and professional with her treatment. We were very impressed with the care and service she received.

I've been to Dr.Devitt for an implant and just today I got my 4 wisdom teeth removed. He had it done in 45 minutes!! He is HANDS DOWN the best oral surgeon in Bloomington or any surrounding areas! He even called after business hours to check up and see how I was doing. My mom has gone to him as well and she will never go anywhere else. Very kind office staff and amazing Doctor!!!! Dr.Devitt and his staff are remarkable. I had some really difficult upper and lower extractions that involved surgery and all were as pain free as with anywhere I have been in 40+ years. Dr. Devitt is a caring, skilled and professional surgeon.

If you need an implant, this is your doctor! I have had two done by him. I had first one for about 5-6 years now with no problems at all. My second just got done this last month, i had a problem with it but Dr. Devitt was there for me on multiple instances. He even met with me outside of office hours to make sure that i was going to heal up well. I could not believe it in 2018 a doctor who could spend his personal time to help me. BEWARE! I wouldn't take a dead dog. I was supposed to be sedated and that was their claim however I absolutely was not sedated, that should have been clearly easy for them to see, they were doing SOMETHING wrong! I was trying to tell him my 3rd wisdom tooth wasnt even numb, I raised my hand and moved his hands out of my mouth and told him that my third wisdom tooth was not numb however he just said "keep your hands down"and ripped it out anyway. He didn't care! Right after ur rushed 2 ur car!

Dr. Devitt is extremely talented, and he delivers excellent care in a friendly, calming atmosphere. He and his staff are knowledgeable, personable, and responsive to the patient's needs. I highly recommend Dr. Devitt.

It's was amazing compared to others iv been to. Dr. Devit was so fast and virtually pain free the whole time. I have some very funky teeth problems but he went right to work with no problems and it was over in a material of about 5 min or less. Wow. Absolutely amazing people!!!!

I went to Timothy Devitt upon being referred there with a broken jaw. My experience was targeted to the least effective, most expensive treatment I could afford, leading to years of anguish and pain as I recovered with what I assume is a now misaligned jaw. The procedure was rough and painful, and Timothy spent much of the time distracted, and telling of horrific dental torture stories. Instead of a followup to see how I was doing, the office misfiled my insurance, handed my account to one of the most ruthless and unethical collection agencies around, and washed their hands of it. You'd be better off crossing state lines for your dental care. I went to Timothy Devitt upon being referred there with a broken jaw. The staff were very unfriendly, and I was treated like an object rather than a person. The doctor and nurse shoved my head around, gave me a shot without telling me they were about to, and when I protested they scolded me saying I 'should have expected it.' I had told them in advance that I was nervous and to please tell me what they were going to do before they did it, and they completely ignored my request. It was very painful, and even though I used good manners I was treated very poorly. I would never go back there again. I asked if I could keep my tooth, and they said sometimes they do, but that they wouldn't let me because the blood on it was a biological hazard, but my mouth was bleeding heavily when I left, so I don't understand the logic there. Had a problem with a cracked tooth that led to painful swelling. My dentist recommended Dr. Devitt - and within an hour I went over and the tooth was extracted. Amazingly, Dr Devitt called me at home that evening (on a Friday night!) to check up on how I was progressing. Very attentive care.

Dr. Devitt did a great job with me. I went to get all 4 wisdom teeth taken out under local anesthesia, and I was out after about no more than 20 minutes (one tooth was partially impacted). I would describe the overall surgery as very efficient. And despite all the horror stories I had heard about what recovery was like, I was actually pain-free by the next day. I didn't have to take any painkillers. True, my teeth weren't too bad but my relatively pain-free recovery is also credit to the job he did. Dr. Devitt did a great job with me.
