Dr. Thomas E Schlieve

Dr.Thomas Schlieve was kind, considerate, knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He took his time to explain the condition I was experiencing so that I understood it and the options that were available to me. I highly recommend seeing him if the condition warrants it.

He is a Good Dr however his staff is awful the guy who answers calls for appointments I wish I knew his name , He has no manner at all and Sound so unprofessional.

Dr. Schlieve is great. My disabled child had wisdom teeth growing in horizontally, causing severe pain and decay. Even though she has a very small mouth, he was able to extract the teeth.

I had recent extractions done by Dr. Schlieve. I just have to tell everyone how AWESOME he is! I have had life-long dental & needle anxiety & Dr. Schlieve & his team were just so fantastic in dealing with me. I will be returning again shortly to have Dr. Schlieve complete my dental implants. I recommend him to EVERYBODY! He is truly a blessing & THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

I have to change my previous review. Dr Schlieve is an excellent Dr, had me in surgery the same day as my visit. The reason it was hard to schedule an appointment is because it’s UT SW facility and they hire their own people to answer their phone calls to make appointments. Dr Schlieve has nothing to do with scheduling. Takes his time with his patients and has great knowledge. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Schlieve took excellent care of my 6 year old son. Throughout the whole process - from diagnosis, through surgery and post-op visits, I could not have been more pleased with him. Dr. Schlieve really put my mind at ease about the surgery and what to expect. He was very knowledgeable of the issue and how to resolve it. He was always welcoming and available for My many questions and offered straight-forward information. He had a great bedside manner with my son as well. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Schlieve is a great doctor. He’s very caring and compassionate. Takes time to listen to you and answers every question. Explains in great detail what the treatment plan is going to be and what to expect along the way. Always so calm and reassuring- he made a scary diagnosis so much easier to understand and accept. Dr.Schlieve is a wonderful Surgeon.He helped us even after the insurance we had wasn’t accepted by his office. He found a hospital that took our insurance and did the surgery. Dr. Schlieve is an outstanding doctor. He took the time to help me understand diagnosis, treatment, possible outcomes and any adjunct treatment that might be necessary. Educating me on my condition gave me the knowledge I needed to feel empowered and reduce my fears. You can tell he is passionate about his work and possess a compassionate demeanor. Incredibly professional and friendly. He takes time to answer questions on your level and quick to respond to your emails. I haven't had my surgery yet but I feel very confident in his abilities due to my interactions with him.

Dr. Thomas Schlieve is such an amazing doctor. He truly cares about his patients and comes down to your level and explains everything to you clearly and makes sure you understand. I’ve never met a doctor like him who genuinely cares for his patients. He responded to my email on the same day even though it was a Sunday. I don’t know how I’d thank Dr.Schlieve for what he has done so far for me.I’ve been his patient over a year.I had a rare tumor in my face and I was going through hell because of the fear I had for this hard surgery.To be precise,his work is like magic! Nobody(not even other doctors in same hospital)never thought my face turned out that good! He saved my life,my beauty and my confidence! My experience with Dr Schlieve has been outstanding! Dr Sclieve is very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose and methodically explain my issue. Even though, my jaw issue required surgery, he broke down the process and walked me through how it would get done. My post surgery follow-ups have been very seamless and he responds to my email questions promptly. On the overall, Dr Schlieve made me feel very much at ease with my treatments and I've been extremely impressed with his service.

Dr. Schlieve performed major jaw surgery on my wife. We were told that a highly skilled physican/dentist was coming to Dallas and that we should wait for him. When he came to examine my wife initially, he surveyed her problem and immediately told us what his plan of action was. I asked him how he could determine what he would do so quickly. I don't usually give 5 stars in every category but YES I did. I've had several surgeries and "shop" before I do. Dr Schlieve is highly skilled and did a great job removing a tumor and associated wisdom tooth. Other doctors indicated it was big problem, one wanted to remove an additional molar. I still have the molar and Dr Shlieve get his 5 stars. I have recommended Dr, Schlieve to friends.
