This physician is the best. He listens to the patient. Three of my coworkers also have had contact with him and all have excellent praise for his professionalism in diagnosing our illnesses. Must note, none of us did the "self diagnosis " route.

Excellent physician, listened well, very knowledgable, helped to resolve an ongoing problem. I was impressed w his ability to listen and make me feel more comfortable.

It was a waste of time to see Thomas Naughton at UW Health urgent care Union Corners. I went in specifically for a prescription for a self diagnosed rash. He completely ignored what I had to say, and proceeded to misdiagnose me with something totally different. He even injected me with a huge dose of meds for the disease he dismally misdiagnosed. A visit with a different doctor proved I was correct, and blood tests/googling symptoms showed Thomas Naughton was completely wrong. Please make sure you see literally anyone else at urgent care. I've seen Dr. Naughton twice. The first time, a couple of years ago, after waiting in the exam room for over an hour, I went into the hallway, spoke to a nurse an found that they had forgotten about me. The 2nd visit was worse in regard to the waiting period...2 1/2 hours...in this urgent care facility. Two different nurses came in approximately 15 min. apart, the second unaware that the first one had been there. (I got weighed twice.) I had to tell the Doctor, when he finally arrived, that there had been a test performed for strep throat. He had no idea so he had to leave the room to check on the results. In addition, it took at least 10 min for him to print out the at-home-care instructions. He mentioned that the printer wasn't working properly. In the meantime, I was getting sicker by the minute, and finally, after two and a half hours, I was finally able to get an antibotic prescription. I doubt that the problems in this so-called 'urgent care' clinic lie only with Dr. Naughton, but he certainly shares responsibility for the lack of organization among his staff!

Doctor treated me like a no good narcotic seeking waste of time. Became aggressive, instigated and attempted to cause a seen. After I immediate stated I am not asking for narcotics, we will put a line there right now!!! He made up the fact I am banned from UW. He would not nor would let the nurse or receptionist, provide any paperwork documenting the visit. He intentionally went out of his way to interfere with me asking the receptionist. (To me this shows strong evidence that he knew by the way he handled the initial conversation that it was unethical, and I am sure in violation of Wisconsin state laws. Along with his reputation. ( i really wish I was wearing a body camera. Although, the nurse, office manager, and security officer are all good witnesses.) I could only imagine, If i did not have the strength to go through that experience, would not take much to do something stupid with no hope adding on that fear. (I HOPE NO PERSON EVER IS TREATED WITH NOT JUST A LACK OF CARE BUT NEGLECT OF CARE AND DISCRIMINATION.... [I sure hope he is not actually "evil" and is just lacking common sense and skills to get passed the background check. Dr. Naughton is an attentive physician who takes his time to look at the entire picture and adopts a holistic approach to diagnosis and treatment. He has a very witty and caring bedside manner and is never hesitant to find creative approaches to treatment challenges.

Dr. Naughton is hesitant to recommend specialist care when needed, and also slow in recommending testing. He seems to resent patient advocates who want to contribute ideas about patient care.
