Dr. Matthes is an outstanding prosthodontist with incredible skills and knowledge. I had to have extensive dental work and he made my smile look AMAZING! The entire staff is professional, attentive, respectful and friendly. I am extremely pleased with my overall experience with Dr. Matthes’ office. I would HIGHLY recommend his services!!!

My wife had a complete upper and lower implant and I had a single tooth implant. The coordination they had with our regular dentist and the periodontist was excellent. At all times the staff of Dr. Matthes was friendly and helpful and accommodating. They always considered the distance we had to travel and scheduled our appointments to accommodate us to the extent possible. The procedures were performed very professionally and the results were outstanding. We would highly recommend Dr. Matthes and his staff.

Dr Matthes and his team gave me my smile back! Before finding Dr Matthes, I had almost given up hope on dentists. In 2019, I had poor dental work done. I tried other dentists to correct the bad dental work, but with no luck. After googling dentists, I stumbled upon Dr Matthes and read the reviews. I was hopeful and made an appointment. I've spent a fair amount of time in the dental chair over the years, with excellent providers. Dr. Matthes is at the absolute top of the class when it comes to both expertise and communication skills. My case presented a number of challenges that required coordination with an oral surgeon, and the results were better than I could have hoped. After years of limiting the kinds of food I ate, and never smiling in a way that would show my teeth, I can now eat and smile with no reservations. I originally selected Dr. Matthes because of the great reviews he received posted on Google as well as the ratings and recommendations from the National Dental Associations. My experience supports all of the positive comments posted and deserved for Dr. Matthes. What is often overlooked is the staff and I just want to comment on the professional and personal care they provide to patients as well as the support of Dr. Matthes. Upon my first visit to the office I immediately felt this was an organized team of professionals whose mission was to provide personal care to their patients. There was no waiting for a front desk to acknowledge you were there and best of all there is no waiting for my appointed time for the procedures. Every appointment was the same although each time I had different assistants. In each of the procedures that was performed I was escorted by an assistant who immediately made me feel I was the patient “Du Jour”. As you might guess most of the patients are older, such as myself and we have visited lots of Doctors. For myself I can state none have ever provided this level of personal care and results. After many failed attempts and surgeries in hopes of getting implants, I ended up needing a Prosthodontics specialist. Wow! Dr Matthes is my hero! I can't tell that anything was wrong with my front tooth. Him and his staff were so very patient with me. I cancelled appointments, I had 2 consultations. I have been wearing dentures since I was 20 years old (currently just blew through 70.) Every time I had new dentures made it was a horror! Gagged on impressions, constant returns to the office for adjustments, not eating due to discomfort for at least six months after the new dentures. Then I tried a Prosthodontist, Dr Matthess! What a pleasant experience. He and his staff were professional, courteous, and pleasant. Dentures fit perfectly first time. Doctor insisted I return after one week for check up. Dr. Matthes is phenomenal! I had gone to 3 other Prosthodontists over the last 3 years, trying to determine the cause and to resolve my teeth issues, and all 3 previous specialists came up with a different cause and little hope for a resolution. Then I went to see Mr. Matthes, and nearly cried when he almost immediately and confidently proved to me the cause and how he could easily fix my teeth! For 3+ years, I dealt with severe sensitivity and deteriorating self-confidence, as the enamel of many of my teeth was eroding away, and it turns out, due to acid reflux. Within a few months of meeting Dr. Matthes, I had a brand new smile, the sensitivity was gone, and I regained my self-confidence! I no longer have to stand back when talking to someone, preventing them from seeing my previously awful teeth. I no longer have to avoid laughing or smiling around others or for a picture. Over 6 years ago I went to a dentist ( very nice man) who said he could do implants. WRONG - at least for me. I had problems from the very beginning. Without going into detail - I suffered for years. To add insult to injury - it was expensive. Dr. Matthes was recommended by another dentist. A NEW WORLD AWAITED ME. He explained everything that needed to be done and guaranteed it would work. IT IS WONDERFUL. I can now eat, bite into things and I don't worry. The staff is wonderful, friendly and seem so happy. They have been with Dr. Matthes for a very long time. I came to see Dr.Matthes because my first set of dentures, made by another dentist, proved to be unusable. It was a costly lesson in both money , pain, and disillusionment. I now have my new set of teeth, made by Dr.Matthes and I am so very happy with the results so far. He is the most competent dentist I have ever seen. HIs method is so professional and most importantly, my new teeth are simply amazing. I can eat with confidence. I can see my teeth when I smile. My teeth do not move when I talk. I suffered for 3 years, due to the hands of a horrible oral surgeon, with no teeth. I had lost mine due to long term medication. I am in my mid 30's and was embarrassed by the way I looked. When I was finally sent to Dr Matthes, I found my Knight in Shining Armor. From the first appointment which was a very emotional one, he planned every step with me and even made sure that I was scheduled properly for all the future visits. It took a couple more months but he gave me the most beautiful teeth. I use to never smile and now I can not stop. His staff are like family and there is so much support from them too. I am 19 years old and was born without three adult teeth, including two right in the front. Because of this, I was undergoing various dental treatments from the time I was eight years old. After some bad experiences early on, I was left with a lot of fear and hopelessness about my situation. Then when I was 18 and old enough to plan for dental implants and crowns, my family finally found Dr. Matthes. He and his team were so compassionate and put me at ease, and I finally have a happy ending to my dental saga! Now I have a beautiful smile and can eat almost anything I want; no one would ever guess that I wasn't born with all my teeth. I had front teeth veneers place 20+ years ago from a childhood accident and I wanted them replaced because I didn't like my smile anymore. Dr Matthes was recommended to me . I was referred to Dr. Matthes several years ago, as my dental health was deteriorating pretty rapidly. His compassion combined with skill and artistry have me smiling, eating well, and best of all, not thinking about it! When entering the office I am always impressed with the comfortable surroundings and am greeted by the very friendly ladies behind the desk. Having been through painful dental appointments in my past, I admit that I am a nervous Nellie. However, from a simple cleaning to a cap to a crown all have been done painlessly.
