I've never met a doctor that was so into the patient. And actually took the time with my son.

Dr. Mann is an awesome surgeon. Great bedside manners and really cares about his patients. Highly recommend!!

I'm very pleased with the care I've received from Dr. Mann and the staff at Cornerstone Orthopedics. My only complaint is the loooong wait time. My appointment was for 3 PM and I didn't see the doctor until 4:15.

He really cares. After a surgeon in Colorado Springs said nothing was wrong, Dr. Mann LISTENED to me. I am 12 weeks post-op from a Bone spur removal, debridement and anchor for Supraspinatus tear (which would never have healed in its own). And I have the pictures from the surgery so I understand what was done. I trust him. Thanks Doc!!

Dr Mann is great, and so is his staff. They all listened carefully to my descriptions of what was wrong. They took x-rays, evaluated them and then worked with me to set up a treatment plan. I've recommended this group to friends in the past, and I would do so again.

I've had 2 appointments with Dr Mann and both times I was left waiting in the room for over 40 minutes. My last appointment he was over an hour late. While I believe he is a good doctor, the lack of respect for patients time garners most this rating.

It is wonderful to be listened to by a doctor and in turn given the diagnosis in terms in which you can understand. I was given the paperwork that outlined what we had discussed during my visit. Dr. Mann and his staff are friendly, professional and caring.

Right knee pain and swelling due to torn meniscus. Dr. Thomas Mann was very thorough and explained all X-rays and MRI along the way. Fully explained all options to better my knee. Was not rushed which was very important. I felt he cared about me as a patient.

I've had a mostly bad experience with doctors and medicine. Dr. Mann is a tremendous presence. He was kind and thoughtful and took all of the time needed to answer questions and go over my diagnosis in detail.

The first visit was good but the second visit (reading the MRI) wasn’t good. Dr. Mann was running 45 min behind and when he did see me, he rushed through the appointment. He made it obvious he didn’t have time for my questions and was talking as he walked backwards out the door. It was stunning. I didn’t know if anyone would come back so after a minute, I collected my things and left.

Dr. Mann was very personable, knowledgeable and walked through everything to make sure I understood my treatment plan.

Dr.Mann is wonderful he's to the point and effective he did my shoulder repair and I couldn't be happier ,being pain free and to be able to move my arm again is best feeling ever

I had a great experience at Dr Mann's office. Everyone was very kind and professional, at the front desk. I didn't have to wait long before seeing the doctor. He listened to me and answered the questions I had, and layed out my options for treatment. I wouldn't hesitate referring others.

Met with Dr Thomas Mann and his care team for knee pain. They addressed my symptoms, took X-rays and gave me options for treatment. Very supportive and professional in diagnosis and explaining the condition. Highly recommend there care.

Dr Mann is direct but friendly. His explanations are thorough and he is not bothered by questions. I appreciate that he does not jump to surgery as the first remedy but rather prefers more conservative options first. Lastly, on an occasion when he was running behind schedule, he and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate me at another time but on the same day.

After 6mo from my initial injury I visited this clinic and Dr. Mann performed the standard range of motion and diagnostic tests for my knee. After reviewing my X-rays and MRI results I have a tear in the meniscus and a sprained ACL. I realize there are different types of meniscus tears — and some tears won’t heal without treatment. Its my understanding that if the tear is on the outer one-third of the meniscus, it may heal on its own or be repaired surgically. But if the tear is in the inner two-thirds, which lack blood flow, the tear cannot be repaired and may need to be trimmed or removed surgically. I asked if the tear would be able to heal on its own. Dr. Mann immediately informed me of his credentials and years of experience and that he would refer me to Physical Therapy, he didn’t think surgery was needed, but to consider an injection in another 6-8 weeks. Injections are used for pain not necessarily resolving the problem. “Think” and “consider” being the key words here. Dr. Mann showed me a picture of the MRI pointing out the tear and swelling. Not knowing the details of what I was actually looking at I asked again about the tear as I’m in constant pain and my foot gets icy cold. He then proceeded to speak with his assistant for dictation and a summary of the visit. Basically I was dismissed. The clinic was running 45-60mins behind (sign posted at front desk). Having a morning appointment I was seen 1 1/2hr after my appointment time for about 15-20mins and charged for an hr. After not receiving clarification about the tear and no guidance of what I should or shouldn’t do to prevent further or long term damage my appointment seemed like a pass off or just protocol. I was certainly treated as a number - not a person. Maybe this is such a common diagnosis that the human element of an appointment is overlooked especially when the clinic is running so far behind. Considering my symptoms 6mo later and to try PT, then consider injection(s), and not answering my question about the tear, I will need to see someone else. We have visited Thomas for two different injuries for my son's knee. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. I would continue to visit Thomas and the Cornerstone practice.

Very caring doctor, and knew the wait time up front because the office cared enough to let me know upon arrival. Didn't beat around the bush and we had a plan by the end of the first visit after a thorough MRI review. Not my first orthopedist visit for the issue, but one that listened to the history and concerns. Happy I got referred here!

Dr. Mann fixed my torn knee years ago and will fix my husbands shoulders this week. We trust him.

I was greated promptly at check in. I was then taken to a room right at my 9:40 appointment time. Dr. Mann was thorough and explained everything as well as listened to me. A referral for an mri was ordered and will do that next. I will follow-up with the office after the mri. My visit to OCC was a very good visit. Thanks to all.

Dr. Mann made an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan on the first visit.

Excellent experience. De Mann spent more than 20 minutes going over everything with my knee and answering all my questions. I felt like he really listened to my concerns and offered me a variety of options.

Way overbooked. Consistently late for all appointments. He thus hurried through the appointments. Speaks in surgeon language that isn’t easily understood by those who don’t understand the terminology. I think he cares and is very competent.

I contacted the Wheat Ridge office and they got me an appointment for the next week. I was pleased to get an appointment so soon. Online check-in was available, which made that easier. All of the staff were courteous and professional. My appointment with Dr. Mann went well. I felt Dr. Mann took the time to discuss and clearly explain his findings and professional opinion regarding the medical reason for my visit. I had to wait an hour to see him, but it was worth it as once he got to me I felt very listened to and he explained everything very well. I think he is very over booked by the appointment schedulers however!

Dr. Mann went out of his way to treat my knee instead of making me reschedule. I would highly recommend him.
