This is an excellent Corneal Specialist. I have been to many opthamologists and corneal specialists in the last twenty years in an attempt to save the vision in one of my eyes. Dr. Heigle was recommended to me by another opthamologist who told me I needed to see the only doctor in LA who could handle my case. He was so right. Dr. Heigle is exacting, he is patient, and he is thorough in his examinations and his treatment plans. He has performed three perfect surgeries on me and my vision in my problem eye is better than ever. If you really need corneal help like I did, you couldn’t do better than contacting his office in Baton Rouge.

I had a rare condition where the white portion of my eye grew over the cornea. In a very delicate surgery, Dr. Heigle was able to cut away the offending cells, and glue in new tissue to correct the issue. He is a very professional, skilled and intelligent doctor and he treated my issue with great levity. My eyesight has improved greatly since the successful surgery and I have Dr. Heigle to thank. I highly recommend him.

This is the best corneal surgeon in Louisiana. I have had corneal surgery by others. There is no comparison in quality, professionalism, or success. I can see because of Dr Heigle. The transplant has lasted successfully because of Dr Heigle. Trust him.... He is the best!
