Theodore Grabow

I was send to Dr. Grabow for injections on my back(herniated disc with pinch nerve). I met him the day of the procedure, he was right to the point, cold and distant, hardly acknowledge I was there, didn't look at me just he's notes, after 3 injections I never saw him in the office, my case was manage by a nurse practitioner that works there. After a year I had to have a proper evaluation and was the worst, he made me do a urine sample for a drug test and I was on my menstruation day, I told it to the staff that was preparing everything and if it can do it by blood and he said no, I had to gave the sample twice (if you are a woman, you know how discussing it is)he did not care. My mom was there and she told him to help me to get better and he said it was not his problem, that she should have some help because it was evident that we are a depressant family (because she was crying) and on the report he said I was an addict(which I have never been). DON'T GO TO HIM, FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR.

Don't do it, I wouldn't recommend this Dr to anyone that needs a proper doctor. He has no bedside manner, doesn't listen to the patient, has no compassion or even respect for the patient. I was a patient of his, the 1st time he saw me was for pain injection he got all mad because I sak to see him before the procedure I was scare and crying, he ask to put something on the IV to calmed me down so he wouldn't have to deal with me, all the 3 injections appointment was like the first, I was scare and cry even more by the 2nd and the 3rd he didn't went to talk to me he just ask to put the same thing on the IV so he wouldn't have to deal with me. I continue on his clinic but I never saw him again it was a nurse practitioner that was seeing me from that moment on. I kept telling her that the medication wasn't working and instead of switching the medication she just increased the dose for more than a year. At some point he was asked to do an evaluation, that day he wanted a drug test which I didn't mind but by blood, he wanted by urine, I was on my period but he insisted. I don't wear tampons so I had to clean myself with that thin toilet paper that he have on his office, and I had to got it wet to clean myself better but the wet paper was all over so I had to make a plug and shove it up my vagina to stop the bleeding, again with the wet paper until clean to take the sample, but when I had to remove the toilet paper plug it was wet from the wet paper and with blood, menstruation blood, it sticked inside me, I had to insert my fingers inside my vagina to take it all out. It was disgusting, awful, smelly, sticky and degrading. Well I got the clean sample, but later on I learned that he said I was an addict according to de sample and when I asked for the results of the drug test the date of when the sample was submitted was the day after I gave them my sample, he switched the sample to support his claim that I was an addict. On the same appointment my mom was with me and she asked him to help me out, to get well, that I was alone and I needed to get better, he coldly told her that we were a family of depressives, to go home and get help, he dare to say that to a mom asking for help for her daughter so she can get well. Please do yourself a favor and look for another doctor a more humane, understanding, respectful doctor than Theodore Grabow, one that wants you to get well and not what he wants for his pocket, a doctor that can be empathetic and helpful instead of degrading you as a person and as a patient, you can get better than him even at his practice. To say the least when I knew he labeled me as an addict I dropped him and his nurse practitioner and chose another doctor from his practice and no, he never faced me about his allegation about me.

I have degenerative disk disease and have been receiving pain relief injection treatments from Dr Grabow for approximately 8 years while trying to avoid surgery. Dr Grabow is the doctor responsible for me seriously considering what continued Rx opioid use was doing to my health. After each treatment, I get an emailed survey from them asking my opinion about my experience with them. I'm getting tired of telling them the same thing every time. There is not even one suggesion I could make for improvement. From making an appointment, through the completed procedure and recovery time, everything is managed efficiently, professionally, and friendly. At every stage, there's a conversation with each nurse or technician and then a consultation with Dr Grabow before the procedure. Anytime I hear of anyone with spine pain issues, I tell them they should make an appointment with Dr Grabow, get an MRI, and see how he can help.

The best part of my health insurance plan is that I don't need a referral for a specialist. I am very particular about the doctors I choose and stay with. I've been told my research in choosing doctors is obsessive. Also, with the COVID-19 situation, Dr Grabow and his Staff have taken precautions to assure everyone's safety.

I went to see Dr. Theodore Grabow, because I was having severe back pain and shock down my legs. I was unable to stand straight and was unable to sleep because of the continuous pain. I was scheduled and in the procedure room within a day or so. He explained to me what was going on from my MRI and what was the suggested plan. I went and had the injection which by the end of the day I could already feel a huge change. By the next day my pain was completely gone and I was not feeling any shock down my legs. Dr. Grabow really takes the time to evaluate the patient and what is going to give them back there life without pain. Thank you so much!!!

Dr. Grabow has treated me approximately 4 times regarding herniated discs. Each time he treated me he numbed the exact area which resulted in my being pain free for approximately 6 months each time. His bedside manners are excellent always made me feel comfortable not only with the procedure but answering all of my questions thoroughly. If necessary, I would have Dr. Grabow treat my children (and believe me I adore my children).

I have a very tricky neck injury that requires facet injections in very narrow (hardly any connective tissue or cartilage) areas and Dr. Grabow is the only one that has been able to give the injections effectively. I will not go to anyone else. He is the best.

EVEN HEALTH PROFESSIONALS CAN NOT !! GET THROUGH TO MD'S ON PHONES DUE TO STAFF OVER WORKLOAD/PATIENTS. ALL MD'S BOOK OUT OF OFFICE AT 4:00 (NOT 5:00) =FROM INSIDE HEALTH PROF. OFFICE HOURS ARE 9-4,,,, BUT NOT !!! LISTED IN HEADER OF LETTERS anywhere !!!
