Dr Farzan is amazing. He did my surgery 5 years ago and saved my life. He is treating me with chemo and saving my life again. He is brilliant. Pro active. Concerned. Blunt and kind at the same time. Amarillo is blessed to have him.

Dr Farzan has never let me down let me start by saying I was very blessed when I was sent to his office he has the most beautiful heart you see it’s not all about being a doctor an having the knowledge to take care of your health but to have compassion in knowing each one of his patients to make them feel like their the only patient he has. yes he makes sure our health comes first but he also knows that our emotions, spiritual, an mental health come with the health issues I can’t speak for other patients but as for me he has never let me down he is by far the best doctor you would ever meet an be honored to have him take care of your health issues

I had several problems with the office staff, not calling in my prescriptions on one visit, failure to respond to my phone calls , failure to have a nurse in the room during a pelvic exam, and not notifying me when Dr Farzan changed his ONLY day in the office from Tuesday to Wednesday. I had an appointment that was set up 6 months prior for a Tuesday and when I called on the Monday morning before my appointment to confirm I was told my appointment was changed to Wednesday, I explained I had another appointment for a biopsy and could not come Wednesday, was told calls were made 2 months prior to change days. I said I'd gotten no call and was basically called a liar even though nothing showed on my caller ID nor message left. When I said they needed better communication with patients I was told to find another provider. I will gladly do that, Farzans office is not very clean and I consider dirty socks covering stirrups on exam tables very unprofessional especially during covid 19!

I met Dr. Farzan August 17, 2021 at BSA, Amarillo, TX. I was told wjile in ER that I was not having an appendix problem but I had a "Mass" on my lower right side and was referred to Dr. Farzan. He explained all the tests and described fully that the surgery could be done laproscopically unless something unexpected came up. I would refer Dr. Farzan to any woman who needed his expertise. My surgery was successful and benign

Really ghetto. No professional equipment. Bathroom scales and socks on the stirrups... maybe pick a real practice to go to. ????‍♂️

Dr. Farzan is a measured, thoughtful, and kind doctor. He is incredibly knowledgeable and will take as much time as you need to explain your condition and the best possible treatment plan. He is very warm and congenial, sometimes a rarity when you are navigating a cancer diagnosis. I am 2 years out from my last treatment and asked to be kept in his care rather than returning to my previous OBGYN. I trust Dr. Farzan and feel like I am receiving better, more thorough care.

Dr. Farzan is a dedicated professional and is very helpful. He takes the time to explain things to his patients wither it is a procedure or a plan of treatment.

Dr. Farzan and his staff are very professional and kind mannered. He made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in great detail to me and my family and never made me feel rushed at visits and I always left feeling confident of his abilities though out my visits, surgery, and follow up's. His staff, especially Samantha, are just as kind, patient, and understanding to your needs. If you have questions they take thier time to explain everything. Such a great medical staff and office.

Dr. Farzan always makes me feel like I’m the only one in the office. He explains very thoroughly. And I really like him as a dr and as a person.

Dr.Farzan and staff are excellent. Very caring and supportive.

Office not nearly the quality as my beloved Dr Benny Phillips. Nurse ( I guess as no intro was given) was nice as was Dr. However, my prescription wasn't called, electronically submitted, etc for two days after I drove over 300 miles to see Dr Farzan. This is a negative.

Love Dr. Farzan, I find him to be very caring and efficient. He explains everything very thoroughly and answers any and all questions. Highly recommend.

Right to the point but caring.

Expect to wait at least an hour after your appointment time. Dr. Farzan is very rough if you are having any vaginal exam, and I mean ROUGH. Will find another oncology doctor. He also does not do surgery in the local hospitals.

He is very knowledgeable in field, and very kind! One of the best drs I have ever been to!

Best Gyno Oncologist in the world. He's a terrific surgeon. He cares about his patients to no end. Extremely knowledgeable in his field and talks to his patients in terms they understand. Very caring!!

I had a total robot assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy with Dr Farzan on August 15 at BSA Hospital. I was skeptical about traveling to Amarillo for the surgery. It was a great experience. I did not experience any pain from gas in my abdomen as I did with a previous Fallopian tube removal. In fact, I have had very little pain at all. BSA is a first class hospital with good food and very attentive care. The admission and dismissal procedures are fast and simple. Thank you Dr Farzan and BSA!

These people at this office are ridiculous! Dr. Farzan is a horrible dr. He does not listen to his patients concerns. I have a family member that has been in his care and they treated her horribly. She is still battling with his screw ups!!!! Advise do not go see him!!!!!!!!!! He will end up making your situation worse.

Dr Farzan is a very caring doctor that goes out of his way to make sure your doing ok.

Family member had a bad experience with this Dr While doing a vaginal exam he repeatedly hurt her. She then told him to stop, he was hurting her.

After a biopsy by my gynecologist I was referred to Dr. Farzan. He spent time with me and my husband and explained procedures and what to expect. My cancer was not as contained as anticipated, so I required additional surgery. Again, Dr. Farzan was supportive and answered every question with great empathy. I am now cancer free and am so thankful that we have a Gyn Oncologist of his caliber available in Amarillo. We are very fortunate.

I have been a patient of Dr. Farzan's since March of 2014. He is the most compassionate skilled 3 in one Dr. there is. He does not wait to schedule necessary procedures. I was dx and in surgery as soon as my body healed from a previous surgery. He and his staff have made my cancer journey relaxed. I don't worry about the future even though I am BRCA1 + and know I will have more recurrences. He listens to his patients first...then proceeds with his expertise.

I was so happy to have Dr. Farzan and his staff. I had been mistreated for over two months and when I finally found out what was truly wrong and was sent to see him they were very attentive and very helpful. The staff is very professional and courteous. I am truly grateful to him and his staff.

Saw Dr. Farzan due to an abnormal pet/ct scan. He did an exam and biopsy 3 days later after reaching his office and speaking with his nurse, she stated she would speak with him and call me back, to no avail no call back from her, finally got the answering service and after several phone calls to them, I finally received a phone call back from the answering service telling me to go to the ER, went to BSA, sat there for 2 hr's bleeding and they told me it might be another 1-2 hr's so left, went to the BSA Urgent care the next AM, where I was treated due to an infection and bleeding issues. I did not hear back from Dr. Farzan's nurse for eight days regarding the results of the biopsy. She apologized for not getting back to me, I told her their care was unacceptable and I filed a complaint with the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners and the Texas State Board of Nursing. I then get a letter in the mail on 5/18/16 discharging me from their practice. How Ironic, welcome to Texas. Saw Dr. Farzan due to an abnormal pet/ct scan. Appointments were made in a timely manner. His office is easily accessible, & he & his staff are very pleasant & caring. My sister (the patient) had several challenges following a severe stroke, & Dr. Farzan & his staff were very accommodating in dealing with her significant communication & motor problems. She always felt comfortable with Dr. Farzan during office & hospital visits, & he consistently took time to explain procedures to us as well as his rationale for specific recommendations.

I would recommend Dr. Farzan to any Women who may have Cancer. He is very skilled and Knowledgeable and hard working. His staff are attentive to the needs of the those he treats. he is willing to answer any questions that come up. he is highly professional but sensitive to the fears and questions of those treated. He is quick to see those referred to him. He can be reached either directly or through his staff 24 hours a day. Outstanding Doctor, A true blessing to this area

I know from personal experience that Dr. Farzan has saved me from endometrial cancer! His diagnostic skills are amazing and accurate. His skills at surgery are excellent, and I credit him for my amazing recovery. I trust this man with my life and physical and mental well-being. I recommend him without reservation.

In July 2015 I was feeling blah and bloated I had a great PCP JoAnna Wilson, who checked me out, did exams blood work and biopsies and referred me to Dr Farzan, who saw me immediately. His nurse was concerned enough that she tracked me down at work to insure that I be there for appointment next morning! Had unforeseen complications and Dr Farzan never left hospital. I know he saved my life in the cancer surgery and subsequent kidney complications. He's a great doctor and a fine man great staff

I was evaluated by Dr. Farzan after receiving an abnormal Pet/Ct Scan. After having a gynecological exam, which included a biopsy due to the abnormal Pet/Ct, this was done on a Tuesday and by Friday, I had developed a UTI which needed lab work and possible medication. No response from his nurse or physician. Ended up in the E.R. as well as urgent care. A simple phone call would have solved my issue, but instead I ended up with more cost and pain. I do not recommend him nor his staff!

Dr farzan has been my doctor since February 2015 he treated me for my uterine cancer is a great and caring doctor just can't say enough good things about him and his staff . Now I'm cancer free .
