Dr. Dubrow should be ashamed of himself for selling unauthorized Covid test kits on shop HQ for $119. Not only is it price gouging it’s unprofessional to represent a product that is currently being recalled.

I ordered "Volumagen" Consult Beaute sold on ShopHQ.com by Dr.Terry Dubrow and Beaute Caps Pro for Skin, Hair, and Nails from Consult Health . Within a few weeks, the Volumagen dried my skin, made it red, and discolored my upper and lower lip. Before using these products, I had such wonderful skin and never had hair growth on my hair or my arms. The hair that grew on my head was like baby hair that just sticks straight up in the air. Not only are both of these products the worst out of everything that I ever used, but the emotional pain, embarrassment, and depression it has caused me is beyond belief. Neither is FDA approved and Dr.Dubrow has been around for over 26 years and BBB Accredited. I don't know what to do to get my skin back to where it should be and to stop the hair growth on my face and arms. Why should I be the one to have to pay? Seems to me all the people making 5 star ratings are just people that watch the show and have never been in his office to get a procedure and the people that have been in his office gave him a 1 star

I would absolutely not recommend using this doctor for anything. He really messed up my rhinoplasty. It has collapsed completely on the right side and the left side is getting there. I voiced my concerns immediately after surgery and all the follow-ups. The standard answer was "give it time". It never healed correctly. I went to see him again recently to see what he would do about it - compensation, etc. He wouldn't even talk to me about it and referred me to the other doctor in his office (he doesn't even do rhinoplasties anymore) Wonder why! The doctor in his office wants to charge me $34,000 for a revision to fix something that Dubrow clearly botched. He doesn't care about your opinion and whether or not he did a good job. I had a facelift and blepharoplasty at the same time. Each had their complications which he just shook off. Visible scars where the stitches kept coming out - actually 4 times before they took. Do your homework! This doctor only cares about his TV show

Yes, Dr. Dubrow is charming – ON TV. Don’t let this fool you into getting any work done by him. After surgery he spends less than 10 minutes with you. He doesn’t write down any complaints that you have, saying: “give it a month, a few months, a year.” So, I trusted him, he was the doctor. Paid $30,000 for the following: Rhinoplasty, facelift and Blepharoplasty – upper and lower. This surgery was done 9 years ago. From the Rhinoplasty I can’t breathe normally, right side is collapsed, left side is getting there. I came out of surgery and the next day I knew something was wrong with the inside of my right nostril. Doctor said give it a few weeks everything will be okay. Although you could see inside that I barely had room to breathe in and out of that side. A few months went by and I went to see him again. His answer was the same: give it a least a year. Well, years went by and I can’t breathe out of the right side of my nose. About 4 years ago I went to another cosmetic surgeon to get an opinion as to what was going on. He confirmed what I thought was going on: my right side was nearly collapsed, and the left side was weakening. He advised me that the doctor had taken out too much cartridge. I would need revision rhinoplasty surgery. He did not attach my Earlobes correctly when he did the facelift. One is attached the other is not. I complained about my earlobes not being the same, one attached and one not. They were both attached before. Blepharoplasty – upper and lower eyelids. Left scars on the outer edge of my eyes. Left side stitch came out 4 times before it finally stayed. It left a worse scar on that side of the eye than the other. In September 2020. I went to Dr. Dubrow’s clinic to see what he could do for my plugged nose. He wouldn’t give me the time of day. He stayed for less than 5 minutes and told me he doesn’t do Rhinoplasty’s anymore. i.e. sorry nothing I can do. He said he’s leaving that to someone who specializes in rhinoplasties. It just so happened that he has a new doctor in his office who does these operations. (This doctor gets great reviews). He told me that yes, the sides of nose have collapsed and need revision surgery. I waited a couple of weeks for their estimate which came to $33,000. Yes $33,000 for a nose revision that Dr. Dubrow clearly did incorrectly and now want’s nothing to do with it. I asked Dr Dubrow’s office what part of this new cost would be taken care by Dr. Dubrow; his office advised that the estimate already included a discount (10%). Other reputable doctors (that get excellent reviews) gave an estimate for the exact same work for approximately $15,000. I am sure that my review will be deleted since all the bad reviews (and there were many) have been deleted from Yelp and only the good ones have remained. Not only did Dr. Dubrow not take responsibility for what he did, but then he and his office wanted to gouge me for repairing something they clearly did not do correctly. Other people have posted that we should turn in a complaint to the www.FTC.gov and to www.MBC.CA.gov which I will do.

Horrible customer service! I sent online inquires and emailed Dr. Dubrow's office numerous times regarding whether or not he does a particular procedure, but NO REPLY. Ever. Seeing all these reviews though, this clearly was a blessing in disguise!

Dr Terry DuBrow will do my eyelid surgery

If there was a way to give a ZERO star that is what I would give. I spent over $90,000 on several procedures. Seven hours in surgery, my incision line busted open in his recovery room. It's not like I was out playing tennis, I simply went from a 45 degree angle to a 90 degree angle, my back incision line dehisced/opened at least 5 inches. He had to be pulled off the show to come stitch me up bedside in recovery. His surgery center is so small there wasn't room to take me back to surgery. I had to endure horrific pain being sewed up bedside. Ran a fever that evening, day six I ended up in the ER with a 102 fever. Dr. Dubrow cleared me less than four hours later to fly back to Texas. Day 8 my inner thigh incision busted open. Long story short, two hospitalizations, 17 nights in the hospital, surgery to remove foreign objects left in me, I had an ESBL bacteria obtained in his surgery room, 21 days on IV meds, I almost died. I was botched by the botched doctor.

awful. don't sign all the paperwork and record your conversation, for he forgets things and makes you pay for it again. Absolutely the worst experience ever. Went in requesting something specific & was talked out of it since he's the "expert" and also told if I didn't like his results, that he'd correct it. So that's 26k initially and then another 16k to redo it the way I wanted it in the first place. Don't sign the paperwork and run for the hills. He gives OC a bad name.

I have been a patient of Dr Dubrow for a couple of years now. My first procedure was 25,000 and I paid for everything upfront. I have also made several trips to the spa. I returned for a second procedure in February 2017 (Upper bleph $6,000) unfortunately the 2nd procedure was not successful and provided zero results. After a visit with the doctor he informed me that a revision surgery would be needed and that it would be at no cost to me. However when I sat down with Kim she charged me a total of $1,050 for the surgery room and I had no choice but to pay for this in order to book my revision date. I paid Kim went home and composed an email to Vicky (office manager) on August 9th asking her to please confirm with the doctor as to whether or not I should be paying anything for the doctor to have a second try at providing me the results that I had paid for originally (I was thinking that maybe Kim had made a mistake). I finally get a call back from Vicky today and Kim was also in the room. As I began to go over my concerns with Vicky, Kim raised her voice and went on and on about how I had signed 2 pieces of paper acknowledging that additional cost are incurred in case of revision surgery for any and all procedures. Kim continued ranting and speaking to me in a very demeaning manner. She was incredibly unprofessional I could not get a word in edge wise. I was finally able to point out that I had also signed an agreement stating “Revision Policy: there may be fees associated with hospitals, facility, ect” finally Vicky interrupted and said that she would get back to me after speaking with the doctor. I am floored with the treatment that I received today. Being a business owner myself I totally understand and agree that a doctor’s office would include a protective clause for his patients however this should not apply to a patient with zero results. I understand this clause being applied if a patient was not happy with the outcome or because the patient would like it to look a certain way or just simply being unrealistic. This is not the case for me because I had zero results ( B-4 and after picture clearly show this) and on top of everything else the doctor himself agrees and had no problem whatsoever moving forward with the revision. I would also like to add that I own multiple businesses and if I overheard an employee speaking to one of my customers with this level of disrespect I would certainly not tolerate it. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Dubrow to my worst enemy. He's nothing more than a money hungry, rude, phony excuse of a doctor. I should've known better than to go to an ACTOR. He does not care about patients - horrible bedside manner, he left me in pain, tears & distress several times. Left horrid scars that conveniently had to be revised numerous times on MY dime - many doctors have remarked that he BOTCHED my tummy tuck & breast reconstruction. Kim is just as bad as he is-HORRIBLE to patients
