Dr. Alvey was very compassionate and took the time to talk to me about my foot and what to do. He decided to be more in depth and ordered an MRI. I was very comfortable and everyone went out of their way to be helpful and were very kind.

Enjoyed my visit; Dr Alvey very personable. Assessed my problem; did ultrasound and explained every detail as we were viewing it. Gave diagnosis and explained it; and explained treatment options.

Timely , efficient, thorough, friendly, informative, included my opinion in treatment plan, discussed follow up and possible referrral if treatment plan didn’t work . Couldn’t have asked for more.

I have been seeing Dr. Alvey for almost 20 years! He is always pleasant and diagnosis’s are quick and thorough. Treatment is spot on. Highly recommend him!

Most caring and kind doctor I have ever had. Very sad that some doctors don’t treat patients especially the elderly in the same manner.

I was very skeptical a doctor could give me any help and relief for the terrible pain in my foot. Dr. Alvey met the challenge and more! I left with knowledge, relief and a good plan going forward. I did not think that would happen…especially at the first appointment. . His knowledge, determination to solve the problem and give me relief of the pain and caring and professional way, made it a pleasant and productive appointment. I left his office with relief, a plan and confidence my foot pain issues will be resolved. I would highly recommend Dr. Alvey.

Saw Dr Alvey about pain in my heel. Gave me treatment options and got me set up with therapy, orthotics and something for the inflammation.

Dr. Alvey was very professional and did not waste any time figuring out what was wrong with me.

DR Terence Alvey.DPM and his staff was.very friendly and helpful. They made me feel comfortable and welcome. I had x-rays of my feel and was taken to a room. I only was qaitting for 5 minutes and the doctor was in there to take care of my feet and why I walk on the side of.my feet. Every one was very helpful and nice....

This was my first time coming to Dr Alvey. He was nice , professional and easy to talk to. He listened to what my problem was and recommended options of what I needed to do. I appreciate his input and helped advise me to my decision. Already better than it was, but if I have another issue I will come back to him.

Dr. Alvey was prompt, compassionate, informative, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth. He thoroughly discussed the physiological process resulting in my diagnosis and my treatment options. He completed a minor procedure in the room, which caused no discomfort whatsoever. He involved me in the decision-making. I feel completely comfortable in his trustworthiness and competence as a podiatrist. His great bedside manner is also a definite plus!! The front desk staff and nurses were great, too! Dr. Alvey was very friendly, compassionate, professional. He explained and showed me my x-rays and told me exactly what would be done when it came time for surgery. Since he will not be doing any surgeries after the first of the year, he gave me recommendations.

Dr. Alvey did a thorough exam of my injured Achilles’ tendon. He immediately ordered X-rays and an ultrasound, which were done the same day. He took his time to discuss his findings with me, as well as his recommended treatment course. I’m confident that I’m in good hands to get this injury healed. He and his staff work like clockwork; timely and efficient.

Excellent md. Old quote “ you don’t care how much he knows til you know how much he cares”. Dr Alvey Cares!

One of the best doctors I have ever had

Very personable and knowledgeable. Even made my teenage daughter smile.

Caring, compassionate and honest. What more could you ask of a physician. These guys get it.

Dr. Alvey really listens to you and finds the best cure for you and your needs. Being a teacher, I'm on my feet all day. I love that he gave me options to make sure I was still able to do my job and be comfortable while healing.

Very pleased with him no one would listen to me about my foot hurting and he did. He found an issue on my MRI told me I had scarring tissue and muscle tissue down in my bone. He sent me to Dr. Paul Daines to do surgery in which he did when he found the source of pain.

Very personable and very knowledgeable. Diagnosed my minor problem very quickly. I wouldn’t consider any other podiatrist!

I visited Dr. Albee’s office 3 times and each time I left with not knowing why my foot/toe was hurting or anything to stop the terrible pain. X-rays were taken and still no conclusive advice on what my problem was. I received two sets of insoles which were of no help. After 3 visits, I left his office with no results, no future appointments and the recommendation to see a Rheumatologist, although I did not have Rheumatoid. His office was supposed to call me with a recommendation to a Dr but I never heard from them. Very disappointed with his service and treatment.

Funny guy. Terrible doctor. Said all my problems were “scar tissue”. Was supposed to cut a cyst out under foot but cut into a toe instead. Still have cyst and other problems he wouldn’t address because he said it was all “scar tissue. “

It was all terrible horrible back then, He operated on my food simple operation cut a nerve and I get crps horrible pain, He refused to give me pain meds and lost my exrays to file for disability. So I was denied. Why because he put in my record I refused to go back to work. So Social Security seen this and denied me my first time. Always check medical records. I told him right after surgery I had terrible burning pain. He said it go away, it has not went away since that day in June of 1995 a life of pain and hardship.

Never in my life have I been treated so pitifully by a group of doctors and their business, Tri State Orthopaedics. Dr Alvey issued me a night splint for what was suspected plantar fasciitis, and no one told me that if it didn’t work for me I had 30 days to return it. It didn’t work, I wasn’t even able to wear it one night. A year later and I’m getting a bill for it. I have tried to return the boot since it wasn’t worn and they refuse to take it back. If this review saves even ONE patient in my position (on SSDI) from making the same mistake I did in trusting this group, then it’s worth the outrageous price they’re insisting on billing me and sending me to collections over. Worst business practice I’ve ever seen in a physician’s group. As for Dr Alvey himself, when he found himself at a loss as to how to help me, he pawned me off on a coworker who insists surgery is my only option. I’m still walking- NO THANKS.

Dr. Alvey and everyone at Tri-State Orthopedic are great. Dr. Alvey is caring and attentive to what is going on and genuinely concerned and willing to what is necessary to get your feet back to 100%.

From the moment I walked into my first appointment with Dr Alvey, I felt so comfortable with him! He treated me like he knew me for years...listened to me without rushing me along. I’ve had two surgeries with him now and I couldn’t have asked for better care or compassion than what I received from Dr Alvey. To have a dr that you know and feel truly cares...takes so much stress off your surgery and recovery. I couldn’t recommend Dr Alvey, his whole staff or the the therapy gang high enough.

Came in with a stress fracture as a result of training for a race. Dr. Alvey was very compassionate and caring when explaining that I was going to have to be in a boot, and thus, miss my race. He did a remarkable job easing my doubts about being able to get back in to the gym and running again, and helped explain a training method that worked for him after he suffered a similar injury. I have know Dr. Alvey for at least 15 yrs and have always enjoyed seeing him. He has taken care of my family for years. Always friendly and takes him time with you. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr Alvey is fantastic. Read one review on here that stated he was rude. I can't believe this is the same doctor. Dr. Alvey has a great bedside manner. I had to switch to a different doctor due to an insurance change and I'm contemplating pay out of pocket to go back. Highly recommended.
