My child and I traveled to Los Angeles to meet with Dr Rosser only to have the worst experience ever. Our appointment time was changed and moved up to about 2 hrs from what we originally scheduled months in advance. Yet we made it happen because her front office staff advised they knew we had traveled from a far and would hate to reschedule our appointment. Who does that? Knowing that this appointment was scheduled months in advance who calls their patients to warn them if they don't come in earlier they will be forced to reschedule their appointment because a last minute meeting came up. I get it I know it happens I work with a group of surgeons, and quite a bit of patients that come to our practice not only travel across state lines but travel from out of the country to be seen and never have my providers canceled or moved appointments. Rather they have gone late to their meetings. Up on check-in the front office had my child's name incorrect in the system I corrected that with the forms I filled out for them. I advised the MA who took his vitals about it as well. Once in the exam room my son was evaluated by a NP which we were not aware would be participating in his care, she actually spent more time with us than Dr Rosser. But kept looking at her watch and expressing she needed to be "fast" because they had a meeting. When Dr Rosser came into the room she did very little to focus on my concerns and practically changed my child's diagnosis with out reviewing all his medical records. Advised that yes my son does have new fibroma tumors on his back, but they just need to be watched? ignored my concerns for the new changes in his body and our concern for for new symptoms. She denied to order imaging. I made 600 + mile trip to pretty much get nothing, but a rushed office visit that lead me no where and left me with no rational answers for the care my son should be receiving. I traveled back home that same day and scheduled an appointment with his Pediatrician, who took the initiative to order imaging for him and call our other providers in town involved in my child's care to get things rolling. She is not someone I will allow to treat my child ever again and I don't recommend her. If I could give her 0 stars I would. How is a child supposed to be running around with tumors on his back and in pain? This doctors focus was simply getting out the room to meet her meeting. And as a side note the facility was dirty, the bathroom in the clinic was disgusting full of vomit on the floor and the toilet. The floors looked like they had not been moped in a while. For a renowned medical facility and top grade docs this was a total disappointment. We will never be going back to this hospital and medical facility. Dr Rosser is very knowledgable, personable, and caring. She's the first doctor we've had that calls and emails to check how our daughter is doing. I highly recommend her for a pediatric neurologist.
