I had a great experience with Dr. Kormeili and everyone at the office. The location is really pretty and everyone is very friendly. She listened to what I needed and after some appointments, my skin looks great. Her products are also very good!

Dr. Kormeili and her team are FANTASTIC! I initially consulted Dr. K as she is skilled and knowledgeable about skin treatments specifically for African Americans and people of color (which is unfortunately hard to find). I've been on a skin regimen that has nearly eliminated my acne and smoothed out my skin tone and is going on 2 years strong now! Additionally, I've consulted Dr. Kormeili on procedures for hyperpigmentation and scarring and have seen excellent results after just a couple months. She is an outstanding dermatologist but also an outstanding person; always connecting with myself and her clients on a personal level, providing ongoing skin care education, and bringing a genuine kindness to her business. On top of the dermatology excellence, the full staff and team here are phenomenal! I am always greeted and treated like family when I walk in and consistently feel listened to and consulted by the everyone I interact with. Shout-out to Joselyn & Liz who are both absolutely stellar and warm whenever I come in and take the time to answer any follow up questions I have. I live about 40 min away from the office but will always happily make the trek for such amazing hospitality and professionalism. Highly highly recommend!

After seeing my friend’s results I decided to visit Dr Kormeili myself in Santa Monica. I wanted to look sharp for my graduation photos from business school. It was honestly beyond my expectations. I did some coolsculpting in the neck area and we did some treatments to enhance my facial features. I get many compliments but no one can tell what if anything I had done. Very young. I’m 75. A fast paced fancy office that feels like it’s more about cosmetic changes then actual dermatology problems. Came in for what I feared was a second squamous cell on my scalp. She diagnosed psoriasis. Gave me a prescription. It didn’t heal. 5 months later it turned out (by another doctor) to be squamous cell. Surgically removed. Two layers deep. Dr. Kormeili changed my life. I’ve struggled with acne for years. I tried absolutely everything on the pharmacy shelf, attempted regimens recommended on Reddit, and dabbled in the direct to consumer players like Curology and Apostrophe who provided oral and topical solutions. Nothing worked and I was trying to steer clear of typical heavy hitters like Accutane. Dr Kormeili’s an amazing dermatologist and super friendly as is her staff. She did mine and my sister’s botox which made us feel and look so much younger. I've been seeing Dr. Kormelli for 10 years. Her office is beautiful, her staff are efficient, friendly and helpful and she always takes time to answer my questions and concerns in a very caring manner. I visit her for yearly check ups as I tend to have pre-cancerous spots from sun damage. These spots need to be biopsied and usually removed and I've also had chemical peels. VERY DISAPPOINTED First thing you are asked when you get to her office is for your credit card, even if you have an insurance. And I wasn’t informed before, that to see her, I was obligated to show my credit card. Usually when I go to the doctor, I show my insurance card and then after the consultation I receive a bill from my insurance to pay the copayment (if there is one). Even showing my insurance card (which is a very good insurance from Google company), she refused to see me because I didn’t show my credit card. Shame! She wants only your money! Ps. Be careful with the products she is selling in the front desk, it’s not known the precedence of them. Be more concerned when a doctor is trying to sell their own products and don’t give you options to buy outside from well known companies. UPDATE- try the new facialist! My skin came out glowing & refreshed with a medical facial. Great experience! Very nice and informative as well. Dr K is very knowledgeable & well educated.

I have been seeing Dr. Kormelli since 2011. I had a small growth under my left eye that 2 other dermoltogists said it was nothing to worry about. Dr. Kormelli looked at it, did not like it, removed it and biopsied it. Thank goodness she did, it came back as basal cell carcinoma. Dr. Kormelli performed Mohs surgery and had to go layers. I was concerned it was going to scar, but she did an incredible job and I don’t have a scar, even though I had 7 stitches! In 2013 I had a horrible small bumps that burned on my back. She took one look at it, thought it was Grovers Disease, then took a biopsy to be certain. She called me the following day and she was correct and it was treated. I moved to San Diego, but still go to Dr. Kormelli in Santa Monica. She’s that good and worth the drive! Recently I had a chemical peal on my chest and arms. Dr. Kormelli called me the next day to make sure I was feeling okay. Dr. Kornelli and her staff are professional, personable and simply AMAZING! I have been seeing Dr. Kormelli since 2011. I contacted Dr Kormeili through a referral from my PCP. I am very pleased with the staff and Dr Kormeili’s knowledge, showing she truly cares for your needs is extremely important. She takes time to explain all details of the and you leave with a feeling of comfort.

I went in hoping to get a certain procedure and the doctor was very honest me. she suggested I do another procedure that was much less expensive. I do not usually review anyone but I felt compelled in this instance. I am also not using my real name for privacy reasons. I wanted to rave about Dr. Kormeili and her staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Kormeilis for over 10 years at this point. She is one of a brilliant mind. Incredibly knowledgeable and gifted. Her resume alone could put the average doctor to shame. I often visit the often for some of her skin line and Tretinoin. I also have her check me for any skin issues as I have very fair skin. More recently I made both my senior aged parents go in for a skin check and I am glad I did because my father had skin cancer on his arm and eye area. Dr. Kormeili did the surgery on his arm and did an exceptional job. I could not be more great to have found Dr. Kormeili and her office manager Elika. I know I ask a million questions to and they both sit so kindly and patiently answering all of them. I have used Dr. Kormeili for several years. Her bedside manner is amazing. She is kind, attentive, friendly, and sincere. This is just an added bonus. More importantly, she is an absolute master at her craft. I had skin cancer near my eye. It was in a very prominent spot. Dr. Kormeili worked in conjunction with a plastic surgeon to ensure that she successfully removed the cancer and that I would not have scarring. After having gone to 3 different dermatologists for my “adult acne” for several years, Dr Kormeili made the correct diagnosis right away and my skin problem cleared after a couple months of treatment. Dr. Kormeili gives you the personal attention lacking at most doctors' offices. She is warm and really listens to your concerns so she can provide the best treatment possible. I would highly recommend her. Oh, and her staff always greets you with a smile.

Dr. Kormeili is a wonderful dermatologist, who has helped me on many occasions take care of both big and small issues. Dr. Kormeili is thorough, professional, straightforward and very personable. Her office is beautiful and her staff are friendly and just as warm as she is. She found a stage zero melanoma on my leg that was a tiny freckle. I trust her and always look forward to seeing her. I have been to a few other dermatologists and she is in a league of her own. Another plus is she doesnt push her products or beauty enhancing procedures but she will honestly answer any questions you may have. I have recommended her to many people. Dr. Kormeili and her staff are absolutely the best! She diagnosed a problem I wasn't aware of immediately, does a thorough check and offers cosmetic advice when I want it! She is personal and professional and an excellent doctor. I can't imagine more in a dermatologist. It's a pleasure to be her patient!

Dr Kormeili is the best dermatologist. She has been caring for me and my family for over 10 years. She’s beyond caring and super smart. The new office is simply gorgeous. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Kormeili and her team are incompetent and uncaring. They performed major surgery on me with no prior discussion or explanation. I will have a 2 inch scar forever from their botched stitch job. My other doctor could not believe a dermatologist had stitched me up in such a messy way. Imagine thinking you will have a minor procedure, and then seeing that they have completely cut you open. When confronted about how they never discussed that this would be a serious surgery, they claimed they had left me a voicemail I never received and told me it wasn’t like I “was on general anesthesia” when I consented, therefore it was my fault. I trusted Dr. Kormeili and her office and now I will be scarred for life. I would not recommend coming here and I would like to especially warn people not to send elderly parents to them as they may take advantage of them.
