Dr. Sylvia Susana Gray

Dr. Gray is the worst hand doctor I’ve ever been to. I wish I didn’t have to give her even one star on here. I was in her office today as a new patient. I’ve had hand issues for half my life and they’ve been getting worse more recently. I explained everything to her PA (who was great by the way). He listened, took notes, and sent me for X-rays. It took 45 minutes after all that was done for the doctor to come in. She was in the office for maybe 5 minutes, if that, and just basically told me she couldn’t help me and made it clear she had no interest in doing anything to help my hand. She couldn’t get me out of the office fast enough. I tried to ask her about, at the very least, getting a new brace. She looked at mine and said she could take a piece out of it to made it work the way I wanted and ended up breaking my brace. I have NEVER had a doctor not want to help their patient before. My appointment for consultation was at 1 for a medically recommended procedure. I was called back at 1:15 and waited for Dr. Gray for 45 minutes before I went and asked the nurse how much longer. She argued with me about how long I had been waiting and literally rolled her eyes at me. 15 minutes later( after waiting for an hour and 15 minutes), she came to see me. Only to tell me that she could not do my procedure until I was 6 months postpartum, nor would she submit it to insurance until I was 6 months postpartum. The best physician in the country…Dr. Gray. SHE IS AMAZING.

I just had a breast reduction done by Dr. Gray. She was amazing. The whole process was excellent. I was a little nervous because this was my first time having surgery but the whole staff at Mercy made it such a smooth day. Highly recommend Dr. Gray and the entire surgery center at I-35!

she is amazing, she did my surgery after my implants were infected , she had to remove them because of another reason. but she did an awesome job at trying to leave my cuts & breast looking amazing. such a sweet soul! AMAZING! im happy that after breast extraction they look good! thanks dr grey! ????

I was referred to Dr. Gray for a skin graft on my lower leg for a large hematoma. To my surprise, she said no surgery needed, and she would be my wound care doctor. 3 visits later, I am released, and my wound is healed. Dr. Gray and her entire staff are efficient, friendly and responsive. They respected my time, and every visit was seamlessly efficient in terms of in and out. Exemplary behavior on all levels. 61 years old...and by far the best medical experience of my life. Dr. Gray and her staff are truly outstanding.

Very helpful and caring

About a year ago, I had surgery on my hand for a small cyst on my little finger that mostly just hurt when I bumped it or gripped something tightly. Since then, I've been back to her office at least four times because the pain is 10x worse, it hurts severely when I just wake up, which it didn't before, and it even looks way worse. When I've been back she literally could not care less what I'm saying. She responds and says "I did the surgery and removed the cyst and I guess you have arthritis." My finger had no arthritis before this, which I know because I already deal with that problem in my elbows. I have told her the pain is significant and she just shrugs her shoulders and says I don't know what to tell you. Her PA is 100% more attentive than she is. Now I'm looking for a different doctor to redo this surgery to alleviate my pain.
