This man is a doctor, not a therapist and he is a very professional doctor. As long as the patient is willing to follow up with all aspects of the treatment plan, such as therapy, the doctor is excellent. I've been going to him for many years. I gave one star as I had to, but he does not deserve any. This Man had me in tears. I was worse leaving his office than before I went in. He is very abrupt and degrading and like at least one other patient he yelled at me. Terrible Doctor

I never understood a doctor who would prescribe medications to an individual, and not extend them out until follow up to at least make sure that individual could adjust to the medicine. Especially if this was their first time taking meds for anxiety, and depression. How is one suppose to perform at their job when all the meds do in the initial phase is make you exhausted? I've heard of other doctors prescribing meds, and putting patients out for a week or two before returning them to work. I hope I don't get fired since there's nothing more I can do at this point besides take the meds, and fight my sleep. I so desperately wish I could give less than a 1 star to this poor excuse of a "doctor" he prescribed my best friend prescriptions upon prescriptions and then had the AUDACITY to yell at her (UNPROFESSIONALY) through the phone and BLAME her, stating that she demanded more and more drugs, when she wanted to have LESS prescriptions NOT MORE. She was no longer the same after he became her doctor and unfortunately due to reasons I believe such as this she has since passed away due to self inflicted wounds. And I blame him 100% for it. He mixed up her prescription, refused to listen to her when she plead to him about her medical issues, and then twisted her words and blamed her. People like this do NOT belong in the medical field. He is horrible. I do not reccommend this place at all. He was CONSTANTLY confusing me with other patients and even called me SCREAMING at me, for something that was NOT my fault at all. He is rude has ZERO patience and should retire as soon as possible. If you go here, you CAN and SHOULD change practices right away. Do not feel trapped, JUST because he can see you sooner than other Doctors. I would have waited a year for an appointment if I knew THIS is how he would be. He does not listen to his patients when they say they need LESS medication, he will throw another prescription at you. It simply is NOT worth it at all. Unfortunately no matter how horrible of a review I give it will not deter people from going here because of how limited the ability to find a doctor is. I've been going here for 4 years, every time is a horrible experience. They know how difficult it is to find a doctor and that's why they're able to do the things that they do. They are terrible to their clients, they refused to provide any documentation of what you've had done, and they won't send bills to you They just call you and leave aggressive voicemails demanding payment. I feel that this is definitely a business that needs to be reported. To start I know this practice is not a therapists office, however, I was a patient for several years and I was always uncomfortable and felt like I was just there taking up their time. All visits including my initial were very quick in and out and basically just small talk, here's a new prescription and on your way you go. I would easily spend twice as much time in the waiting room as I would actually seeing the Dr. Even though he had my chart right in front of him he would always call me the wrong name and ask how my kids were doing even though I kept telling him I didn't have any kids at that time. The next visit would be a repeat etc., etc., etc. and it was rare to be seen any sooner than 15-20 minutes after your scheduled appointment time. The last appointment I had scheduled was canceled and I was told they'd call back to reschedule which they never did so I just quit going and had my PCP just start prescribing me the same medications. Years later they've never stumbled across the fact that they've not seen me all this time and reached out at all. I assume if all you're after is a script for pills and quick chit-chat with someone who won't even remember your name this is the Doctor for you, otherwise check around elsewhere. Not a very Medical Base Atmosphere. Only payment available is cash or check: very inconvenient for the patient Dr. Ahmed is very brisk and does not provide the care as of “why” you are there. Not shy to let you know that he doesn’t handle the “counseling “ side behind his “psychiatric” care office.

Been a patient for many years. Dr Ahmed is the best doctor I have ever been too. Very nice and professional man . My late father was a patient too . He treated my dad with up most respect . My father spoke highly of dr Ahmed also. His wife and the office lady Samantha are also very nice . Samantha knows how to run the office side. I am very pleased and would highly recommend dr. Ahmed. I am beyond happy to recommend him.

Avoid this guy like the Plague! He wrote the wrong date on a script, then tried to blame me for it. If your med's will cost more then you make in a month he tells you its your fault. This guy doesn't deserve to be in the medical field and should lose his license. I only wish i could give less then one star...

He’s exactly what he is, a doctor. His staff is very accommodating and he knows his stuff in terms of mental health. I think some of the complaints about his office is the fact that they think he’s a therapist. He’s not, there are five billion therapists in our area. At my first appointment he asked me who I was seeing and follows up with me each appt on how I’m doing in therapy, but remember he is a psychiatrist first and foremost. If you don’t have a therapist, he and his office will provide you a list of recommended ones in the area. I think he does a great job. I’d recommend him to anyone needing services. I never saw him for longer than it took to write a prescription, and it was clear to me that I was nothing but a check to him. In my last month with him, he abruptly discontinued treatment on Christmas Eve because I didn't have a surprise $100 test fee on me right then. Keep Looking

I met with Dr. Ahmed for the first time on my appt. about 2-1/2 weeks ago. I made myself all stressed out over absolutely nothing! reading a handful of bad reviews! Keep in mind that Dr.s have thousands of patients & only 13 reviews people commented about having a bad experience. In my case, with Dr. Ahemd I had a great first visit and I found Dr. Ahemd to be pleasant & very respectful towards me. Same went for another new Dr. I had seen a few months back that had bad reviews as well & my experience with her went excellent! A handful of bad comments you can't judge a Dr. I've learned not to go by what others say online in reviews. Unless there are over 200 bad reviews! As a new Pt. with Dr. Ahmed, he was very professional, respectful, pleasant towards me and a great listener. I was a patient about 6 months ago and I was too scared to share what happened with me, I was nervous each appointment I have with him because it felt like he would only ever get angry with me, I’m a college student with a very hard life, I expressed I was suicidal and he tried to admit me right then and there despite me expressing my severe discomfort with this, I tried to explain it was just how my thoughts are, that I had been abused to the point where I think of suicide every day eventually he seemed to get sick of me expressing my suicidal ideation and told me to find a new psychiatrist in a month because he was dropping me as a paitient, don’t go here if you have thoughts of suicide at all I was a patient about 6 months ago and I was too scared to share what happened with me, I was nervous each appointment I have with him because it felt like he would only ever get angry with me, I’m a college student with a very hard life, I … More

This has been the absolute worst experience for me. He does not care about his patients, very short, and will not listen to anything you have to say. I would STRONGLY recommend NOT going to him. Save yourself from his horrible practice.

If I could give one less star I would. This unprofessional, unethical office is not one you should go to if you care at all about your mental health. I was a patient for over a year, and every person I met who went to Dr. Ahmed told me of how rude and unhelpful he was to them. The same was said by me, but with insurance it made it almost impossible to find another doctors office. Dr. Ahmed made some very offensive, triggering, and unethical remarks to me dealing with stressors in my life that caused me to spiral. I wish that I could give less than one star. The staff is rude, as well as Dr. Ahmed himself. I had such a bad experience with him, and cried an abnormal amount of times in his office. He was one of the least understanding psychiatrists I have been to (somehow worse than Dr. Nagaraja). I was about thirty minutes late to an appointment once due to family members, and called asking if I should just reschedule but was told just to show up since I live 40 minutes away as is. When I showed up, I was yelled at by the lady that I don't know the name of who everyone assumes is his wife as if she didn't tell me to come to the appointment anyway. It felt as if Dr. Ahmed made an effort to make me feel bad for not being able to find the correct medication for me. I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety for four years now and have yet to find a good medication, and no other psychiatrist has ever made me feel as bad as he did about that. No one in the Mental Health field that I have talked to has disagreed with me when I say that he seems heartless. If you are looking for a psychiatrist, keep looking. Don't waste your time here. Would not just make a flipping appointment with me. Insisted on grilling me over the phone about problems i didnt feel comfortable talking about.

Dr. Ahmed was very unprofessional towards me. He was constantly checking his phone throughout our appointment. I felt very disrespected. I will not being going back to his office. They also don't accept cards as payment which is very old fashioned, they need to step up their technology.

Let's start with the front desk, Samantha has always been nice, the other woman (I'm assuming his wife) is one of the rudest people I've ever met. I've been coming here for years and I've had to reschedule two appointments because my daughter who is an infant was in the HOSPITAL. I had documentation, she made it clear if I did it again I couldn't come back I even offered to pay a fee, she just wanted me to know I wouldn't be able to come back, not to mention I called before a 24 hour notice, not last minute. I've heard her yell and talk poorly about patients while Samantha had them on hold, sitting in the waiting room and hearing the way they talk to people via phone or when they hang up is absolutely disgusting and unprofessional I don't understand how they are allowed to be open. Dr. Ahmed is absolutely wonderful!!!! He has a very calm manner. I felt embarrassed to see him for the first time, but my whole world changed for the better when I admitted I had anxiety. Dr. Ahmed told me it was ok and not to be ashamed to ask for help. I made great progress under his care and feel "normal" again.

I am thankful to Dr. Ahmed as he took me on as a new patient immediately. When I expressed that my medicine was going to run out b/f my first appointment, my appointment was moved up immediately. His staff is most caring and compassionate. Very old school and unable to connect with patients. He is rude and does minimal work. He does not ask important probing questions pertaining to how you are feeling or what you may be experiencing. The office staff is fine if they are only making an appointment or taking a co pay, if you ask for or require anything more than seem very disinterested lack concern and professionalism.
