Dr. Swaraj Singh

1 star is for Dr. Singh; I had a 7:30 AM appt; arrived at 7:15 AM as requested. Had no problem with the office staff but due to an "emergency" he didn't show until 8:40. At this time he walked in the room, didn't apologize and proceeded to speak. When I tried to insert questions he told me twice to not interrupt because it was very distracting to what he was saying. I have been a migraine sufferer for 62 years, have a college degree and I was treated like a child. Almost in tears, when he asked if I had any questions I just shook my head no and he walked out. A FIVE minute appt. I was treated with such rudeness and dismissal I should have walked out--but I was in shock. Never have I been treated like this from a health care practitioner. Dr Singh is great. The practice is very poorly run. It is so bad I am looking for another practice. They do not respond to messages. They are impossible to reach by phone. They do not respond to Pharmacy requests.

office staff not friendly, did not respond to me at window, saw PA, BUT NEVER DR SINGH. WAS THERE FROM 235 TO 430. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I give the Dr. One star because it's the lowest rating and I can't give a ZERO. This doctor is the worst. His communication skills are poor at best, and don't even think about getting things done under his watch. The delays caused by his unprofessional office are maddening. Also, he is unprepared for office visits, still reading notes on you in front of you instead of reading them before you meet. I cannot recommend this doctor in any way. Dealing with him and his office has been the worst experience of my life. Love his nurse practitioner though. She's always prepared, kind, and thorough. Horrible rude staff and doctor from the beginning ! Long wait times. Rude to my mom when she accompanied me before Covid 19. Could not 'fit me in when my left hand became paralyzed. While they sit in their office, I am helping my patents breathe on the front line. Shame on you! It has been over a month, then you lie, so not to see me prolonging my pain an suffering. This is my 2nd review of this (Dr.) ?? Singh, Swaraj. My 1st appointment was Feb. 1st., where I explained how I had been falling, repeatedly hitting my head on tile floor. It took maybe 10 minutes where he just asked a few questions. He Never touched the multiple bumps and swellings on my face. He then ordered me up front to the receptionist where SHE was the person to explain the 3 test that were scheduled out from that day with the last test concluding 7 weeks later. On Feb. 19th I had the absolute worst fall involving my head again. I spent the days following with my whole head having ice packs to calm the fire burning pain. I tried to get in contact with him, but was told he was to busy. An assistant finally called 4 days later, telling me that Naproxen was called into the Pharmacy. So evidently he had assumed I was a drug seeker and was branded as such. They would not let me know if the MRI had shown any damage, but was refused. I had no choice but to continue with these god awful test, the last going home with electrodes placed all over my head and the equipment was harnessed to me, including a bulky camera that I was supposed to take everywhere with me. What a joke! Finally I get to the appointment to find out in fact if I had done damage to my head. Does Dr. Singh come in NO an assistant came in to tell me the results which were all normal therefore I needed sleep studies!! Which had been done to me 2 years ago which they were already aware of. I have been a patient for years and the service is declining every time. I am on hold when I call for over 12 minutes, sometimes longer. My paperwork is never correct and I have to call. There is always prescriptions delays that I need to call back about. The doctor is nice, but I believe he has too much faith in his staff . You are only able to leave a message for his assistant and never the doctor. It is frustrating. Definitely time for a new office. Tell why a doctor would only send in a prescription for 30 days with No refills. I'm originally from Colorado and since I've moved here to Arizona this is a common thing with the doctors here. I just don't understand why, I need my medicine to drive and work.

Nice Doctor who is awesome when you are there. The issue is if you have a problem with medication or paperwork after you leave, it is impossible to get it resolved by his staff. It takes me a week of time and frustration with calls.

I personally hate to give bad reviews but this one just miffed me. I had an appointment at 1030am. This doctor came highly recommended and I traveled 57 minutes to his office. I arrived and was checked in. I was taken to the patients room where my BP was taken and told the doctor will see you in a moment. I waited in that small room for 1 hour and 12 minutes until the doctor walked in all for less than 5 minutes of an exam. I hope his assessment is correct after 5 minutes. He didn't listen, he just told me to take Trokendi XR. I told him it was $400.00 a month and my insurance didn't cover it. He said the cost wasn't his problem and offered no alternative. The pharmacy tried several times to reach him and get an alternative , he would not respond. Months later I found out that my granddaughter was seeing him and he was pushing Trokendi XR with her too. He is very rude.

Dr Singh nickle and dimes you. Set my aunt up with multiple appointments to charge several copays.. could have been all done in one visit. Also put her on an extreme blood thinner so that she would have to get labs every week (at his lab)... Even more money. Outside looking in, you can see he is a money shark.

I made my appointment with Dr Singh but I was seen by his nurse practitioner. I was never told I was not seeing him directly. When the nurse practitioner diagnosed me, I asked her questions because more than half of my symptoms did not fit with her diagnosis. She was not able to answer my questions. She also wanted me to have two tests and when I asked why she could only answer to give us more info. I then said that she already gave me I diagnosis so I didn’t understand. She then said we could wait on the tests. It was a very frustrating experience and I will not be returning to this practice.

As a veteran, my husband was given the option to see Dr. Singh. If you are a veteran - DO NOT go to this man! His care of veterans is dismissive at best! His medical report on my husband is SO inaccurate. When he gave us a diagnosis of Parkinsons - he told us to "Google information on it!"

Smart, perceptive, kind, friendly, patient, and knowledgable. My wife and I both had the best possible impression of Dr. Singh.

Dr Swaraj Singh is the most outstanding, kind,careing and professional Dr I have ever seen. I have a severe lumbar problem that started 4 years ago and he spent 1 1/2 hours with me and my wife going over past and present MRI'S and did and EMG test and located the problem. I have never seen this care before and I'm 60 years young. His office personal are fantastic and they care like he does. Thank you so much!!!! Beautiful building also..

My wife had been seeing Dr Singh for about 8 months. He kept prescribing meds that wouldn't get approved by the insurance. He is a nice guy....but. His staff are hopeless, can't answer a straight question, can't get things done

Was told I had peripheral neuropathy a year ago & was sent to physical therapy. Then this year after I lost feeling from my waist down, could barely walk, had horrible back pain & had already seen a spine surgeon, IN HIS OFFICE AT HIS REQUEST, the spine surgeon said I needed a spinal tap & a brain MRI. He scheduled me for a C scan instead!???? I told them I've had many C scans with no evidence of anything. He finally agreed to the MRI. Then I fought thru 2 weeks of his incompetent office referral coordinator not scheduling me for the right things or not getting the authorization done in time! The hospital ended up giving me a C scan because of her mistake and then I had to get 3 separate MRI'S on 2 separate occasions & pay the extra copay!???? The Doctor actually told me "I don't think you have MS, but we'll do the MRI anyway" then when the results came back I definitely had MS. It took me 2 months to get diagnosed & get treatment! Needless to say I am with a new Neurologist. I think the Doctor cares but I just don't know if he has the experience. His referral coordinator Sabrina made the experience horrible because of her incompetence. Also make sure he tests you for JC Virus if you have MS. He's my hero. Used to get severe headaches all the time, some so bad that I needed to go to hospital to get rid of. That's after I used all the arsenal in my medicine cabinet. Can be long wait periods at time, but I feel it's because he takes the extra time to answer any questions or concerns his patients have.

My 84 yr old Dad has been going to Dr. Singh for over a year and a half now. He has Dementia and Alzheimers that was progressing fast. But since Dr. Singh did all his testing and evaluating and put him on proper meds there has been not one bit of progression. His talents are great, his way of speaking with my dad, and also with myself, keeps us informed and assured. We are both confident that we are in the best of hands with Dr. Singh and his fellow Dr's at his practise. A very kind and caring man who goes the distance to get it right! Dr. Singh has been sensitive, interested, probing and a listener during my 2 visits to him. He needs more information thru testing (no surprise) but I like his style.
